If I could put a zero I would. It's a shame my Governor D******* will allow such a crooked company to stay in business. My solar panels do not work properly when the lights go out you supposed to have three to four hours of your solar panels lighten your house up and it don't happen. They price gouge, they lied about the price, got me set up with the most crooked is finance company Good leap company based out of california, the salesman lied from the giddy up, do not use this company.

We signed the contract in March 2022 and 6 months later we are still not connected. The representative told us that it will take about 4 months the entire process and that they will not start collecting the monthly payments until the system was connected. Unfortunately it is the end of September 2022 the company started to collect the monthly payments 3 months ago and we are still waiting. We have spoken to Customer care reps multiple times, supervisors from the area we live in and San Antonio, we actually got the local manager to provide guidance but every time they blame the City or the utility company. Never follow up on our calls and keep neglecting our issue. We are now completely lost and we do not know when the panels will be connected nor if anybody from Freedom Forever really care about our case. We regret so much working with this company and what is worse right now they keep withdrawing the monthly payment and we keep paying the normal electric bill.

In June a salesman approached my door selling vivint smart home and solar panels. I was more interested in the vivint security than solar panels. I did not proceed with the panels and did the security. Just recieved an email that the agreement I signed for vivint security is contingent upon getting the solar as well. In the email the rep states its either I pay $5k or get the solar panels.
Stay away from doing business with them

We started the process 7 months ago. Given promises the company would handle all plans and "if any" difficulties they would take care of all issues and immediately. Panels were put on three months ago. The company put holes in are walls and still have not patched them. Made three separate appointments, having to move dogs to inlaws and take some hours off work, and nobody showed up. The process, while slow initially has COMPLETELY stalled. Nobody will call the city for final inspection of solar roof. Not showing up TWICE to repair damage to our outside walls? no calls? Despicable.
We have to get Edison for another inspection. At this rate it might takes years before solar is up and running. I wish I went with different solar company. Nobody is stepping up and getting the job done. In addition are car charger is not working. We not have an electric car, and a wall charger that was placed in months ago that is worthless and we are having to drive to a charging stations AND PAY MONEY to charge our car despite having a PAID for a wall unit. I believe this company should be paying back our charging bills. This company is a joke! They have left the job incomplete, with no communication and no plans to fix ANY OF IT. We will pursue legal action if need be. Paying for solar panels, car unit was not inexpensive and they have taken the money and completely dropped the ball leaving us with nothing but a whole in our outside wall and us having to drive to a charging station and pay despite having paid for a wall home unit. Reading other reviews with same situations makes me feel strong resolve to be contacting legal recourse as they seem to scam many....

Very disappointed with this company. When we first had our panels installed the meter box wasn't working. It took them a month to fix it after we complained and in the meantime the panels weren't producing so we ended up with a $500 SDGE bill and was told that everything is working fine to contact SDGE even though they supposedly have a production guarantee. Now we get the run around and they don't want to pay the difference. Add to that, it took almost a year to receive a referral fee. I'd stay away from this company for solar installation. I never had any issues with the panels or the company that installed the panels at my previous residence.
PS customer service, beyond the sales rep, is terrible.

As a Veteran, I would have thought that a veteran owned business would be the way to go. I can't believe I was so stupid that I never looked at the reviews. I had my system installed in 2019 with 22 panels and battery to eliminate my electric bill. Then refinance the $20,000+ system into my mortgage thru their finance agent. The system worked fine for about a year. You are going to be surprised by SCE at the end of the year from the installation / production date when they hit you with a bill stating you owe $2000+ for electricity used over the production year not covered. Then I find out my battery went dead or lost it's ability to charge and provide power during off-cycle production hours. I have been trying for the past year to get this company to replace a warrantied battery. There excuse Is the supply chain has not enable them to bring me a new battery. How and when are they going to fix this issue?

They never continued with my cancellation request and made me think they did. I received a notification on my credit report that I was getting billed for something that I don’t have installed in my home. Now my credit score is in a bad condition because is Freedom Forever. Getting to talk to a main manager about the situation is just a circus they don’t transfer me over to nobody. They continue to makeup story’s about my issue .

Horrible experience. They promise lower bills and now I'm left with an electric payment and a monthly payment for something that doesn't produce. They did a horrible installation. They supposedly came back to fix it & the panels are still NOT producing.. I have called and emailed and they blame solar edge. Solar edge is the app that is utilized to view the production.

Very disappointed. The customer service is sub par. They took a month to reinstall my panels after we got our roof, and damaged the new roof when they finally did reinstall them.
Both myself and our roofer have been trying to reach someone to take care of the damage. Still nothing and that has been since the end of July.
I was told I would get reimbursement for the giant electric bill I had because there were no panels.
Now I have sent several emails that have gone unanswered. I am to the point that I want them to come take them off and reimburse us for what we have already paid! So over no response at all and the corporate executives that are getting fat on all of the misfortune of their customers they refuse to help!
Thinking of reaching out to a lawyer, but waiting to see if they will redeem themselves.
      Not happy. We got sheeped.
