    Lawsuit winnings withheld, contact Third party payout for issuance of check. Employee continued to disconnect called. With verify identity, and or contact information and conformantion of my request Poor Quality. Disconnected . made several attempts to call back into call center where agent continue to disconnect my call all calls are recorded for quality assurance purposes.I will proceed to contact and or purchase the quality call of this particular day.Funds are being withheld I have been informed of a total of multiple of five reissues of my check I have confirmed multiple times my address on a recorded line I have been told on a recorded line multiple times of three issuance of the check.When I call in to inquire about my funds and an ETA of that due to the last information provided to me I am disconnected on. I have requested to speak to leadership and was unsuccessful each time.

    They are the administrator of a class action from an employer, rcvd a check and unfortunately lost it in a move. Have been trying to get a reissue for over a year now. No way to call anyone, no response to my MULTIPLE Check re-submission requests on their website. FIRM IS COMPLETELY NEGLIGENT and Im assuming they get to keep all funds not collected by recipients hence the no return responses to all of these people requests. Shady firm, of course ************** use them as administrators

    These people love to give the runaround. I received a class action notification in the mail over a year ago.It claimed that the check will be mailed out no later than January 1, 2023.It is now July 4, 2023 and they have not given any updates or correspondences, no courtesy calls no information at all.You have to write an email in hopes of getting in touch with somebody, the girl that was helping me claimed that the fund/check would be sent to my residence in July, I am hoping that they follow through with their promises, reading all of these BBB reviews, I can see how they like to push it to the legal limit and make people with settlements from negligent employers wait for their money. Its been over two years waiting for this check and its ridiculous. They have been unresponsive to my emails recently, and I just wish that they would do their job.

    A class action lawsuit was filed against a company that i worked for during the time period in question. Reimbursement checks were issued to all employees, i DID NOT receive my check due to moving residences since working for the company.**** has promised to contact me within 24 hours and has not in 2 weeks, they have no phone number to call or any way to properly cpntact them. **** is stealing from me while hiding from my attempts at communication, sleazy and unprofessional business practices.I expect an answer and update on money that i am entitled to when i call/email.

    Hello again ********,

    The amount of each class member's check is determined by the amount of time that you worked for the defendant. We received information that you worked there from 10/1/2018 to 6/17/2019, which equates to 37 weeks. Each work week was valued at $17.5238, which is where your check amount came from. If you multiply the number of weeks by the value of each work week, your gross settlement amount of $648.38. From there, payroll taxes were deducted from 20% of the settlement amount, and taxed on a form W2, the remaining 80% was had no taxes deducted and you were issued a form 1099 MISC as well as form 1099 INT.

    I can only guess that the co-workers you're referring to worked for the company longer than 37 weeks, which is why their check amounts were larger.

    Given the following link: **********************************************************************************************************************************************. It is not the first complaint the BBB has recieved about ILYM Group Inc. A class action check was sent to me dated 12/10/2021 along with a 1099-Misc. I paid my taxes as required, but the check was lost. Upon locating the check, I reached out to settlement adminstrator (ILYM Group Inc. ) via there web site to re-issue the check about a month ago (mid march 2023). ILYM Group has been unresponsive. Specifically, the check has not been re-issued. The company phone number gets you a recording that claims that due to Covid, they operate remotely and to go through their website--circular argument! This in April 2023---COVID has declared over! Their Fax number does not work. They have not answered any ************************************** mail.

    Hello *****, were sorry to hear you lost your check! Unfortunately, on this case the funds for any uncashed checks were donated to the ********************************** on April 22, 2022. When you had requested a check re-issue in the middle of March 2023, unfortunately our systems did not push the request through because the case was already over. It looks like we spoke on the phone in May 2023 and confirmed that same information.     I received a check for a class action suit against Shellpoint Mortgage as well as a 1099-Misc. where this income was reported to the **** I deposited the check believing it was legit and in turn used the money for other things such as bills, gas, food, etc. Yesterday I received an alert from my bank stating the payment on the check was stopped. When trying to contact this company it states they are only remote and that I should go to their website to request a check be reissued. Why would I need to have them reissue a check when they will more than likely stop payment on that one as well? I have requested a reissue, but I do not look to receive anything. This has caused me both aggravation and anxiety because now I am short on funds to pay my bills and living expenses. I do not understand how doing something like this to people would benefit anyone. Apparently, this is something this company has been accused of doing for many years. What can be done to make this right and repay me for issues I have had to deal with?

    I received a check from a civil lawsuit on January 2,2023 dated 12/23/2022. My wife deposited the check on January 3, 2023. Everything seemed fine with the check. On January 9,2023 the ILYM Group issued a stop payment on the check and it reversed out of my account. This has caused a lot of unnecessary stress on me and my family along with the financial hardship it has put on us as well. After reading the reviews on here I think its time for someone to step up and deal with this dishonest company that doesnt even have a working phone number where you can speak to someone. The number says they are working remotely due to the coronavirus. Well part of remote working would be answering phones I would think. I was able to put money from my savings into my account to cover but not everyone can do this. A lot of people will be dependent on this money and it seems the company is taking advantage of those in most need by holding money that is not theirs to begin with. I too received a **** for this money that now I will have to claim as income when I didnt receive it. That seems like a tax issue to me that the *** needs to investigate as well.

    I received settlement from ilym group i deposited in my account on January 3rd and on January 6th my bank notices me that the deposit was reversed and im now over **** dollars over drawn ive emailed and called ilym group several times nobody responds or answers phone. I need my bank account fixed and over draft fees paid.

    Received a check for a settlement from our mortgage company for $1,772.52. Check was deposited and funds bounced. Seems to be a common issue with this company that they issue checks and they dont have the funds. I now have a *********************************************************************************** addition, the bounced funds created financial issues for my family. We used the available funds to pay extra on bills, when funds were returned, it left nothing extra for daily expenses such as groceries.
