    I received from the *********************************** concerning unclaimed property. The letter states that there is a check of $988.86 in my name, reported on 09/03/2024, under account number ****** have reached out various times through phone and email for the past couple months. There were a couple times the law firm responded with a rather unprofessional tone.

    Thank you for writing in to let us know! This was a mix-up from the ************************* that we are working on straightening out for them. We had sent them a report of the uncashed funds from the Cigna class action settlement along with the funds, and they instead sent a letter to everyone saying we had the funds. The funds are in the process of being refunded to us from the *************************, but in the meantime I got approval for us to reissue you your check.     I was awarded a settlement as a part of a class action settlement. **** was contracted to distribute the class action funds. I never received my check because **** sent it to the wrong address. It was incredibly difficult to get anyone to answer the phone. Once the finally answered, I had them reissue a check to the correct address they should have had all along. I was told the check would me mailed to me that day and its now been multiple weeks since I requested the reissue and the check still has not been received. I have tried calling multiple times to see whats going on and they never answer. When leaving a message it has been dropping the call and not allowing me to leave one. Ive tried on numerous numbers and it keeps doing this. Please just get my check to me ASAP! It should not be this difficult to send a check out, much less answering the darn phone!

I see that you called in one time today but did not leave a voicemail so we couldn't call you back, but other than that we spoke the last time you called in. When you spoke with ******** that day, she had let you know that we would reissue your check. We reissue our checks every 2 weeks in large batches, since we get so many requests. Your check was printed and mailed on 1/14/2024, and should be arriving any day!

    Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding ILYM Group, a settlement administration company, for failing to fulfill its obligations as outlined in the settlement documents.According to the terms of the settlement agreement, settlement checks were to be issued within a ***** day time frame. However, this deadline has not been met, and there has been no communication from ILYM Group to provide an explanation or update on when the checks will be issued.Additionally, I have made multiple attempts to contact the company by phone, but they have consistently failed to answer or provide any assistance. This lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable and has caused unnecessary frustration and inconvenience.I kindly request that the Better Business Bureau investigate this matter and assist in ensuring that ILYM Group fulfills its obligations promptly.If you require additional information or documentation to support my complaint, I will be happy to provide it.     Thank you for contacting us! I see that you spoke with ***** when you called in to our office yesterday and she let you know that the case has not had checks go out yet.This is not an issue of us not performing our administration duties on the case, this is because the case has been delayed in the courts, which happens from time to time. The final hearing date for approval of the settlement terms is scheduled for March 4, 2025, and then the attorneys will advise us after that date of how much the settlement fund is so we can determine the payment for each person, as well as they will tell us when the checks are to go out. The dates are always flexible because someone in the case can file an appeal or dispute and that can make the process take longer.

    Have called several times regarding the reissue of a settlement check and can never get a call back regarding this issues even though I have asked to be contacted. I have also left several VM messages asking to be contacted, but those messages are ignored. I have emailed a copy of the letter from the state controllers office, on their advice, again with no response. I have spoken with the controllers office several times and they advised that the reissue needs to come from Ilym group and that they need to comply with the letter sent from the controllers office. Ilym group **** have advised they can't find the money that needs to be refunded. This has been going on since the end of Oct. 2024. Several of my coworkers are having the same issue

I looked at our call records for the past 6 months and can find 5 times where you called in, and 3 times of those times (including the most recent call on 12/18/24) you spoke to one of our representatives. The situation is this: we wired the money for all of the uncashed checks that we had reported to the ************************* per their instruction, but instead they sent out letters to everyone stating we had the funds still. We are awaiting a refund from the ************************* so we can fulfill all of the requests on the letters they sent out, but have not received the funds back yet.

    I got approval for a reissue for your check today even without the refund, so I will process that today and you should receive the check in 3-5 business days. If you have any other questions, feel free to contact me directly at ***************************************************************.

    I'm apart of a classaction according to the documents I received the payment should have been sent out November 18, 2024. I have called numerous times since November 26 and have left about 4 voicemails, with no follow-up. I've gone the website and went thru proper steps to send me check. No follow-up! Should I now contact my employer who the classaction is against or the court appointed counsel next????

    The lawsuit of Langlands v *********************************************** was originally scheduled to disburse the funds to all class members on November 18, 2024, but unfortunately there was an objection from a class member who hired an attorney. So currently, we are awaiting direction from counsel as to when we can proceed. Until that objection is cleared, the case will remain on hold. Clearing the objections can be a lengthy process sometimes, unfortunately.

    Business did not send out my settlement check, I spoke to someone and they reissued the check but its been a month and I received nothing

    Sorry to hear you haven't received your check yet! I looked into this, and looks like you requested a re-issue on 11/27/24. We mail our checks out in batches every 2 weeks, and your check was included in the batch from 11/27/24 - 12/11/24, and was mailed out on 12/12/24 to a different address than you provided in this complaint. You had provided us with an address of *************************************** 

    Your check should arrive any day! If it has not arrived by this Friday, 12/20/24, please send me an email at ******************************** so I can re-send it to you through **** priority mail with a tracking number.

    Received a letter in the mail we were owed money from a class action lawsuit, and information on how to receive a check. Have called, emailed, and tried to contact them through their website multiple times over the course of the last several weeks with zero response, impossible to get ahold of

    We're sorry to hear you haven't received your check! The reason you got that letter is becuase we reported to the ************************* that you hadn't cashed the check we mailed out yet. We send it to their office becuase they have access to newer addresses than we are provided with when we start working on the case, so there's a better contact rate and we can reach more people. We wouldn't do that if we weren't trying to get you paid! I do see you called in on 12/4/24 but did not leave a message, so we weren't able to call you back, but no contact from you since then. I hope you were calling the right number!

    Regardless, we will re-issue your check today to the address you provided, and you should receive that in 3-5 business days.

    I was supposed to receive 2 checks by December 1st I have been told multiple times that the checks were coming from my attorneys that they are waiting on the business to send them. They still have not sent them. We have been notified by the attorneys that they can not get in contact to be attempted to make. Several voicemails or even contacts with no success can not get through to nobody on the phone. Do you need know leave a voicemail? But i'm scheduled to receive a two checks that have not been sent out yet and it's been six months

    Ive tried calling and even left messages but nobody answers or calls back. Ive even gone online and submitted a request for an address change yet I still havent gotten a response. My coworkers have all received their check from a settlement already and it leads me to believe that they may have sent it to the wrong address. All I want to do is change my address so I can have my check sent to me but days have past and there is no way of me being able to communicate with them if they wont respond.

    I was contacted by the State Controllers office with a letter stating **** has a check for me. I've called ILYM group at least a dozen times and left numerous voicemails with no response. This seems to be a trend with this company, and it seems to me that the only way to get any sort of correspondence is to file a formal complaint through the BBB. I really don't understand how a company like this is allowed to handle disbursements of property.

    We're sorry to hear you haven't gotten through! Unfortunately, the ************************* has inundated us with calls by sending out our entire year worth of submissions at once. We have cases we submitted to them back in February just getting their letters out, so we have been getting over ***** calls per day but we are getting to them as best as we can! We re-issue about ***** checks per day, so the vast majority of people do get help but it has been hard. We reported the check to the ************************* in order to try another way to reach you to let you know about the check, so rest assured our only goal is to get everyone the money they're entitled to. We issue out over *****,000 checks per year, and get very few complaints in comparison to the number of people we assist.
