      I can no longer recommend this company to others. The service has gone downhill over the last year. This year for my renewal, I've spent 3 weeks calling to discuss the large increase we were provided. After emails and several calls, I was routed to a local rep last week. She was going to reach out to the management team and see what they could do. After going a whole week with no follow up, I called again. I was able to get the same rep (thankfully). The rep stated she received a reply from her manager yesterday who said there was 'nothing they could do.' I pointed out that they did not make any attempt to update me and I had to (once again) reach out for the information. I also pointed out a larger home was just rented out for less than the rate I am currently at. She referred me to call customer support and escalate my problem since there was no one she could let me talk to. Aside from that, we've reported several issues with the home's condition and maintenance workers say their 'hands are tied' by the office who won't approve for things to be fixed properly. Disappointed in the overall experience.

      DO NOT RENT THROUGH THIS COMPANY. No one in this company cares about any of their tenants and good luck ever getting them on the phone. If you are lucky enough to have someone answer, they will fail to go through with anything. When we moved in we are given a man's number to call should anything arise and we needed maintenance, etc. We tried to call that direct line multiple times and each time it went straight to voicemail so he had blocked us. Even if you clean the home prior to move out and follow their instructions they will charge you cleaning fees. They will also lie on their final walk through to charge you for anything and everything they can. When you move out they will nickel and dime you for everything, quite honestly I am unsure of how they are still able to operate. They are the definition of a scam. All in all the company is a joke and I have never been treated so poorly by a rental company.

      Keya If I could give zero stars I would as well. There maintenance staff lack of caring for customers is crazy. I was on the phone with ***** a maintenance coordinator and she did not care about my concerns. I have been dealing with this since I moved in and have been inconvenient multiple times by vendors and there scheduling and I explain that I could lose my job because I have to keep taking time off sit home while vendors work. Which is crazy and no she did not care. I have reached out to the local office several time no answer or return call. But they expect rent on time but can't take care there tenants. I would never rent with them again and as soon as my lease is up I'm out. If they had but coordinators and response to tenants concerns maybe things would be different.

      Horrible experience. Do not rent from this company. Tricon has been by far the worst rental property management company I have rented from. I've had plenty of places I've rented prior to this place in ********. Their online payment system goes down conveniently around the 1st of the month. The hold times to call in and make a payment are 6 -7 hours long.... Yes 6 hours on hold. Their explanation was that it's the time of the month people need to pay rent so it's busy. This happened every month. They have also have a "smart home" fee they make you pay for, it's linked to the same app that the payment portal is through, so it goes down all the time. I payed for Coconut cleaning to come clean carpets when I moved out and tile( not required) about 1.5 years into living at the house because the tile grout was old and nasty. Even doing this, they charged me over $500 for cleaning out of my deposit when I had record of the maintenance guy telling me that everything looked great and that they are replacing and remodeling the interior of the house anyways when he stopped by to do the final move out inspection. So what was said and what was written down on paper were totally different, lies upon lies. Trying to squeeze every ***** out of a renter and charge for things that didn't need to be payed for. I have emailed and called 3 different people (I cannot name them because this app won't let me post them. But I've tried emailing and calling multiple times to try and prove receipts for cleaning, and to talk about fraudulent charges that Tricon added to my account. It was never rectified even after 2 weeks of trying to get ahold of anyone. Renters beware. Do not rent from this company. There are plenty of other reputable and trustworthy companies to rent from. Just save yourself the trouble.

      If I could give 0 stars, I would. We lived in a Tricon rental in *******, ******* for one year. Throughout the year we did not have one direct contact to work with. We must have 7 different email addresses. We moved out on January 30th, 2023 and we STILL HAVE NOT gotten our security deposit back. We've been calling every day for 3 weeks and emailing regularly. It has been 65+ days (which is against the law in ******* - they have to return it within 15). We will be taking them to small claims court if we don't get it back. Save yourself the headache and DO NOT RENT FROM TRICON RESIDENTIAL!

      Wish i could give this company negative stars. They have done the bare minimum for **. Took them months to address any maintenance requests (still dont have a fridge that has a working ice maker), they didnt pay *************** so i got multiple threatening letters and to top it off, they sent me a threatening nonpayment letter, when i had prepaid 3+ months of rent on their portal. No apology after pointing that one out. Its literally the least professional and worst company Ive ever rented from. I hope this company fails spectacularly.

      I have had such great luck with Tricon Maintenance. Their technician ***************************** goes to great lengths to finish his job correctly and efficiently. He fixed up my bathroom very nice. He was even thorough enough to walk me through what had to be done. Thank You

      My daughter, her husband and his Mother have been renting a home (newly built) in ***********, ** for last 10 months and have had the ** and/or heat go out more than 4-5 times. There has always been a 2-3 day delay in anyone coming to repair this brand new HV** system and now the ** is out again and my daughter is 35 weeks pregnant. I have rented and owned homes over my lifetime and never heard of such pathetic customer service! Buyers/renters BEWARE of this company and all the other builders who are throwing together cheap cardboard houses in ***********, **. Not only are the homes c*** but they are now charging outrageous prices/rent for these so called homes.??????

      My experience with Tricon has been amazing! I've read former reviews and almost missed out on renting from them because of the negative feedback. I'm so glad I went with my gut. The communication is prompt, customer service is super professional and the homes are really well-kept. Looking forward to seeing the rental properties out in *******. I'm very pleased so far. ****************??

      In the month of September 2022, because of the Hurricane, we were out of work for a few weeks and behind with the month's rent. Once we had the full amount we called them and the staff was in recess also because of the hurricane and they told me to call the following week to pay. I waited and called, but to my surprise they had sent my case for eviction, because I received the document at home. I was furious and tried contact numerous times to pay and not have this on my records. I was able to pay my rent only on October 6 of the following month because they were not communicating with me. I paid on this day the September rent, the October rent and $1,000 for eviction cancellation fees. Today I just found out that they did not take the eviction information off my records as I still owe. They are extremely disrespectful and disorganized. I now have this on my records and can't get in touch with anyone there.
