They do not care about the residence nor the properties they lease 03/03/23 Day 4 Day 1)I reported a leak on 02/28/23 NO attention to leak led to the ceiling falling to the ground and leaking more that was day 1. Day 2) 03/01/23 ** person not the ** another ******* came cut hole in another wall picked up and scraped and dirtied laminate floors along with soaking in water for 1 and 1 half day then picked up Fiberglass insulation with mold and sheet rock from the floor and left. Day 3) 03/02/23 3 phone calls to customer service they are great. Supervisor **** no help it was one said the other said. No one has come to AT LEAST put some plastic address the **** and FIBERGLASS. We are unsure how long this has to stay this way. Can someone let us know if we should simply make other arrangements. With the heat some type of ventilation is needed and right now the issue is allowing bugs, wind and heat along with the **** and FIBERGLASS. 03/03/23 still the same now today it is cold and windy and dust and FIBERGLASS with **** is floating to home. Still no one has come to do anything this is what I am living with for now 4 days.Tricon Residential

My family lived in a property in **** ** for two years. When we decided to not renew our lease and move in March of 2022, we followed all the steps. There were no damages to the property, and we cleaned the place top to bottom. It was in better condition than when we first moved in. We expected our deposit back and instead received zero response from the Tricon staff. Not only was there no returned deposit, there was also no communication as to damages (again, there were none) that would elicit a lowered deposit. At this point, we were well outside 30 days legally required for Tricon to return our deposit. We filed a BBB complaint and received two checks that were nowhere near the amount of our original deposit with a promise to provide proof of damages. We never received that documentation. In an effort to recoup our original deposit amount owed, we submitted a claim with ****, ******** small claims court. The court set up a hearing, and Tricon was notified. Nobody showed up to the hearing on Tricon's side. As a result, the court granted us damages of $5000. That was in July. We have attempted to contact Tricon several times since then. No response beyond "I'll send this to accounting/legal". I am writing this review in the hope that this will at least get a response from accounting or legal, and so we can receive the $5000 owed to us. This is not okay.Tricon Residential

I think ********************** and ********************** are anti-Black. They demanded photos and immediately denied our application due to credit history. They said that their conditional applicants are automated and theyre not allowed to adjust decisions. I believe that our ethnicity/race was indicative of their decision. Notice, the denial came after the ** photos were uploaded. They waited to determine our eligibility. Isnt that suspicious?!Tricon Residential

At Tricon Residential we consistently apply the same responsible applicant screening criteria to all applicants in full compliance with all applicable state and federal fair housing requirements. To ensure a fair, consistent and appropriately rigorous review in all cases, we retain a third party to review each applicant by consistently applying the same criteria. While we would never discuss such personal matters on a public forum, these reviews are comprehensive and include verification of employment, credit history, recorded evictions, criminal convictions and combined gross income of all applicants. This third-party review is appropriate, legally compliant, and done in all cases. Terrible experience, applied and was approved for a home in ******. Signed the lease both myself and Tricon . We set move in date everything. I paid all deposits and fees. The day after I paid all those fees they said I couldnt rent the home anymore because they had someone else they wanted to rent it to. Mind you after we had already signed the lease.They have not refunded my 2300$ yet and are just making excuses. Extremely disappointed. Nobody answers the phones either you have to call main office to get someone. Would not recommend at all.Tricon Residential

We would like to thank ************** for bringing this matter to our attention. ************** submitted his application on February 1st 2023 and was under review until approved on February 6th. On February 5th the home was offered to an internal transfer from a current resident. When the error was noticed our team contacted ************** and advised that unfortunately there was an error in our system and that this home was unavailable. Our representative advised ************** that his application would be transferred along with all fees to another home should he wish to move forward. ************** was also provided the option to obtain a full refund should he wish to cancel her application. ************** chose the full refund. We apologize for this error and are using this as a learning opportunity to improve internal processes and procedures. We thank ************** for his patience and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience experienced. Please think twice , wish I saw all the reviews sooner, this company took first last and security yet are threatening eviction saying we didnt pay a last months rent for the house, last lease renewal they raise it from below two grand to twenty three hundred. Matinence the house maybe 2 x and once I had to threaten legal action for them to commit to fixing the no ac issue as I was 8 months pregnant suffer for the last four months while fighting a early labor. The dishwasher caught on fire and had to be replaced. Theyre requiring we replace all light bulbs base boards and repaint the entire house even though it is exactly as we purchased with already chipped paint job and improperly placed base boards, They use a bunch of third party companies to solve issues and the issue are have been a battle to actually solve because the third party workers wouldnt work properly. Now threatening eviction when I have a child in my care and have made every single payment to them. Now Im at fear of having to seek legal representation from a possible eviction because I was told Id be called and nobody has called me back. Im a single full time working mommy with a sick daughter and personal health issues. This is cruel. I thought I was dealing with a down to earth rental company, i wanted to purchase this home, till they demanded over a hundred thousand dollars from appraisal estimate. This is cruel as hard as things are in the world this is just evil. Ill be reaching out again and praying they fix the mistakes theyre making. Let me not forget theyre selling all palm beach county homes and told me mid December Id have to be out by march 1st, and even if Im out before then I still have to pay them up until march first as its breaking the lease.Tricon Residential

This is a scam. I have excellent credit and rental history and my income is double the requirement. After paying a $110 application fee I was given an extremely vague decline. Dont waste your time or money with this company. They are probably using the application fees to pay the mortgage.Tricon Residential
