If youre trying to apply to rent where youre going to be using money saved up/parents co-signing/ anything where you plain dont make 3x the rent: dont apply. They wasted our time for a week going back and forward about paystubs and bank statements before finally telling us about all of the stipulations. This might seem like Im complaining about not making enough money but the application asks for the amount of your previous rent, which is more than the one I applied for but that means nothing I suppose. In conclusion, this company does not support kids moving away from their parents so the younger audience has no chance here. Make a ton of money or apply somewhere else.Tricon Residential

We would like to thank ************** for taking the time to share his frustrations regarding the application process here at Tricon Residential. In order to treat everyone equitably and in compliance with Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity laws, we utilize a third-party credit rating agency which objectively qualifies all applicants to rent our homes. Each applicants privacy and personal information is completely confidential. As part of this confidentiality, we do not discuss contributing factors to our decision on public forums. However, as stated in our terms of agreement that was signed when submitting the application, the items considered for rental qualifications include previous evictions, bankruptcy, landlord debts, utility delinquencies, FICO score, rent-to-income ratio, civil court history, level of collections, charge-offs, length of rental history, and late payments. While ************** did not meet our rental qualifications, we thank him for considering Tricon Residential in his rental search.Review fromDawn R

1 starThis company is a disgrace. They left us without heat the first two days of move in and again last two days of moving out. In ******* where temps at night where in the 20's. No one from Tricon reached out to us either time they contracted the work out and we had to wait til it was assigned to a company.Then a couple of weeks before move out I was home alone in the shower and a Tricon employee tried to enter my home via code on the keypad. One he was unannounced and two thank God the code didn't work. I contacted Tricon to be told oh sorry he has the move out inspection date wrong.Now upon move out they are trying to charge me over $200 for touch up paint. We only hung one thing which was our Ring alarm keypad. This company doesn't return emails. I asked about a payment plan for breaking the lease fees. No one ever responded to my emails that started when I gave my 60 day notice.I did everything I was suppose per the lease. I pay my bills on time and have great credit. I thought the least they could do for leaving us twice without heat etc, was work with my for a payment plan. They left us freezing cold not once but twice. And the fact that they think they can enter someone's home when they ring the bell and someone's doesn't answer is absurd. You need to give notice when coming to someone's home.Review fromShan S

Just terrible I have been living in one of their townhomes for 2 years and it has been a terrible experience, I can't wait for my lease to end. The window leaks whenever it rains and the smart door doesn't work, this has been on and off for the past 2 years. The customer service department is disrespectful and hangs up on you when you call to schedule a maintenance request. The maintenance department is unreliable; a tech was scheduled to come fix the smart door, this is about the 4th time they are trying to fix this smart door; the tech reached out to me to confirm the appt, the day of the appt no one came to fix the door, and absolutely no communication as to why no tech came after the appt was confirmed. Also, I had requested off from work to be present for the appt. I tried contacting the tech and the maintenance department and got no response from them. Still paying for a smart door that doesnt work and the window is still leaking. The last person came and looked at the window and said the leaking is coming from the roof and that someone else would have to look at the roof. No one has come to look at the roof, no sense of urgency, so the window continues to leak inside the home whenever it rains.The extreme lack of communication, unorganization, and unreliableness from this company is unacceptable. I have also tried contacting the property manager that was so available when I was first signing the lease to move in; now I can't even get a hold of them, they do not respond to calls or emails. This place is atrocious, not to mention the constant noise even late at night, loud music playing from neighbors, the smell of cigarette smoke in the air, dog p*** all over the place. I wish I had read the reviews about this place before moving here.Tricon Residential

The more we learn about Tricon and everyone who works with them, the more we are impressed. When we moved into this beautiful home, I guess you could say we were suffering from shell shock. Everyone from Tricon is wonderfully nice and extremely efficient. ************************ and ***** are good representatives for the company. They are friendly and bend over backwards to make sure we, the tenants, are completely satisfied.We cant thank you enough or tell you how much we appreciate you and all the great people with Tricon.Tricon Residential

Residential has poor communication across the border in the maintenance department. Anytime I have a issue in my home I'm more irritated that I have to reach out to them and get a run around rather than the inconvenience issue at hand. My heat recently went out and I made an emergency request on a Tuesday evening, I wasn't able to speak to anyone to actually fix the work order until Thursday. The temperature dropped to 25 degrees this week and the workers kept giving me a run around with false information on when someone would come out. I even let them aware that i had a newborn in the home and we need heat. Still nothing was done in a timely manner although it was an emergency request. I had to ask to get escalated to a manager twice after I showed High frustration (******* still hasn't followed up with me even after I left 2 vms) **************** they originally used wasn't going to be able to come out until the following week (a week after my request) Obviously this was unacceptable and wasn't changed until I voiced my frustration even more on the company and the lack of urgency. When I first moved with Tricon 3 years ago I never had these issues but now the company has been a let down consistently. Their 3rd parties aren't the best I'm sure they just go for who's closer and cheaper, which shows in the work and how they do a patchy work.Tricon Residential

I have had a horrible experience dealing with Tricon. I have literally begged someone to give me a call back regarding the leaks around the entire house for over a month. I still have never spoken to anyone. They sent sent some shady 3rd party to come to patch the roof twice and it still leaks all over. When it rains outside it rains in the house. This is no way to live. Finally someone called from the 3rd party company that they will be coming to replace the entire roofDid Tricon call to offer us any accommodations while they work on it? NO!! I guess at this point I need to speak with my local housing authority so maybe they can get a response on my behalf..this is unreal.Tricon Residential

I was 6 years with this landlord company. The are the best experience in rent. Good customer services and fast and efficient answers to maintenance request. If someone prefer peace and wellness in a rent I recommended to rent with Triconresidential.Tricon Residential

Tricon residential is preying on low on income and marginalized peoples in their property management.I have never been charged for a whole house painting and lived in many many rentals as a career military and now retiree.Ive never seen so many up charges and Im pretty sure they are using pictures from previous tenants or went in and made their own messes on the exit inspection so they could justify all the ** charges.Stay away from them in ***************.Tricon Residential

Upon review of the move out statement our regional team noticed there was no receipt left for a professional home cleaning, as stated in the lease for time of move out. These charges will remain. Absolute worst experience I've ever had renting. No one in the company will reply to emails once you are moved in. It took us showing up at their corporate office to get a maintenance request filled. STAY AWAY, I PROMISE. I didn't take these reviews seriously and now I am paying for it. I never write reviews but this is the most poorly managed company I have ever came across. If I could move out I would tomorrow but I know there is no chance they will give back my deposit.Tricon Residential
