      I agree with previous reviews that Farmers does not provide the service level that MetLife did. I received a notice that my policy was being cancelled due to non-payment. I never received a renewal notice, invoice, summary of coverage, or new policy. I called and advised them that I did not receive these documents. Their answer was 'they must be delayed'. I requested the documents and have still not received them 2 weeks later. I could barely hear the phone rep because there was so much chatter in the background that I could not understand her. And even though I paid the balance ******* said I owed, they billed me $25.00 later for a late fee. I would not recommend them at all.

      This business has discriminated against me because of my heritage. Estimator ******** ***** and Farmers insurance adjuster ********** ***** should be held accountable for their actions against me. They refuse to pay for the damage to my vehicle and as of today you have lost a loyal ********. I have been with farmers since 2008 and have not had any issues until now. I am being discriminated against for my heritage and it is not okay. I cannot believe we live in a country where this exists in the insurance business. This is not acceptable nor do I believe ******** should have people like this represent their business. You have lost a loyal ******** and someone who always spoke well of you. I will never use Farmers again. Please ****************** if you expect people to stay. I still need my money for the damages to my car and for the amount I pay for insurance I got nothing. From damages all over the car, the estimator said "It is not our responsibility to fix all of your car just because it got damaged and therefore file a BBB complaint if you have an issue and we do not handle personnel matters."

      There is no evidence in our claim file that suggests Mr. Akhromtsev has been discriminated against in our handling of this claim. Farmers Insurance Exchange does not condone any form of discrimination or unprofessionalism in providing service to our customers. Our claim file reflects that we paid a collision claim for damage to the left side of the vehicle and we stand ready to discuss any further payments needed on the left side damage once the vehicle has been taken to a body shop. We have questioned the damage to the front bumper, as it appears to be from a separate incident. We welcome the insured to enter a separate loss for the front damages.

      I've been a ******** for over 15 years and always paid my bills electronically. When I added a new bank account, ********************** couldn't figure out how to automatically pull the money from my new account. After working with them for 6 months, still no luck. I've filled out the same forms over fifteen times. Even when speaking to various representatives, they still couldn't help me even after I followed all the appropriate steps. The name on my bank account for my business is different than my name which was causing the problem. No one was able to help me even when I was begging for help. Next, I find out, the Company sent me to a collection agency. Really.

      This is how they treat a long-term ********. I'm now forced to find a new insurance agent and I will be pulling my other business from Farmers as well. Disgusting.

      ******** for 15 years and they could not find me. I've reached out multiple additional times to the people I was working with and they are still not responding. Crazy, I just want to pay bill.

      Farmers insurance took a total of $517 from my payroll checks. I still had insurance from my previous carrier and decided to just stay with them. I called farmers, told them this and thought it was done with. Until I realize they are taking money out of my check every 2 weeks. BEFORE the auto policy even should have started, they took money out of my check. I called, said no problem we'll back date it you'll get a refund. They sent me a total of $170. How? Why? No one can tell me. I have spent countless hours on my days off waiting on hold for the representative to tell me someone will give me a call back. Don't fall for it, it's there go to to get you off the phone. Nobody ever calls back. It's been about 2 months now since I caught it and called. When I call it's like there's no notes and nobody knows what I'm talking about. This is so frustrating, I will NEVER EVER have insurance through Farmers.

      I have had MetLife for years, no issue and good service. MetLife was sold to Farmers Insurance and since then, nothing but problems and issues. I have been waiting for 2 weeks to hear from an adjuster regarding my vehicle which had its Catalytic Converter stolen. My rental coverage is only for 30 days and the shop that they told me to use, cannot do the work until November! The shop referred ** to another "in-network" Farmers shop so I just need them to authorize a different shop and extend ********** which the initial authorization expires in 2 days(Sunday). Calling the ********************* to the "unit assigned to the MetLife" customers and this unit is never open or they just tell you to follow up with the assigned adjuster. The assigned adjuster and the adjuster's supervisor don't answer the phone or return calls!! I will be switching companies, but I am disgusted with Farmers

      I don't know how but somehow they got my 2 car info and have been calling me for 2 days straight. yesterday it was 17 calls and today it's only 11 am and I have already had 8 calls. I keep saying take me off your lists of calls but was just told they could take me off that person's call list but someone else in the Farmers insurance would more than likely give me a call because there was no way to take me off the big call list. this is harassment. I did not want Farmers and now having to deal with this I NEVER WILL HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THEM. when I try to talk to someone about this I just get hung up on, the min they find out I don't want it or don't want to hear them talk I get hung up on.

      Simply the worst, awful! We had MetLife home/auto for 10+ years, it was absorbed by farmers and since then the last year has literally been one hassle after the next. Even after we canceled all policies and payed for prorated rates it does not stop, currently in our second collection notice for hundreds of dollars. Bills that after spending hours on hold ******** Insurance can give ** NO explanation for; while rudely saying it is "not their problem" and giving disconnected phone numbers to call.

      Bottom line Do Not give them your business.

      As a ******** that has never missed a payment or had an issue with homeowners insurance in the past we have been completely mistreated and left paying endless unknown costs to a company that does not care or even pretend to care.

      My whole family had group discount home, auto's, and umbrella insurance for 20 years with MetLife directly with no issues, call them and they answered the phone calls within 10 minutes if not faster. Then a few months back they sold the policies to Farmers and it's been a disaster since. My Farmers account (web and app) only shows the old MetLife policies and doesn't show the new home policy Farmers issued. I'm getting emails for my daughters policies as well and she can't see any of her Farmers polices in her account and it has her own email address! After trying for days and hours over the last week on the phone and using the "chat" no one their is able to help sort it out. They say they can see the policies, yeah but we cannot! Ohh the call centers take 45 minutes to answer the calls if you're lucky, the representatives sound like they are either at home filing their finger nails or in some Indian call center. Then they just give you the transfer around until the line disconnects. I've decided that I'm just better off taking all my family insurance to an agent now as Farmers clearly have IT back office issues with the MetLife acquisition.

      We have been ******** with Farmers for almost 10 years. Last 12 months, my policy rate went up from around 1200 to 1718 /6 months, meaning more than 1000 for a year.
      Well, I contact my agent and he told me because MAYBE I run more. Let you guys know, I changed my work from 70 miles round trip to 20 miles round trip last 3 years. I disagree and contact agent farmer and I got answer because of 3 things:
      1. We claimed 3 times for last 3 years and all I know is my mom called for help twice last 2 years because she forgot her key inside the car.
      You know what, an agent at Farmer told me "IT IS DUE TO YOU SHARING THE SAME ADDRESS, WHICH ANY POLICY CAN BE GO UP (short version of text)". SO FUNNY ANSWER. I WANT TO KNOW WHO FILE A CLAIM BUT I DID NOT GET AN ANSWER, THEY TOLD ME GO BACK TO MY AGENT TO GET AN ANSWER.
      2. The home policy was cancelled therefore the auto/home discount was remove from the autos
      3. Age change
      Well, both 2 and 3 is another policy not belong to my policy and they decided to raise mine. My dad also had a sky high premium raise for last 12 months.
      An another agent name ******* told me he will set up for me a call from my agent within 24-48 hours but I never get that call. Then, MY POLICY WENT DOWN TO AROUND 1400. No explain, no call, nothing.
      Well, my family really enjoy being customers with Farmer, but this time you guys passed *** limit. Switched everything to AAA.

      One of the shadiest insurance companies they will nickel and dime u and ignore any requests to then bill u later don't use Shame on farmer's insurance to even endorse this type of services by Bristol west insurance Will also make complaint to BBB for fraudulent bills attempting to threat to send to collections services
