      Called me twice to "collect a debt" from me. I'm a 19 year old girl fresh out of highschool. Obviously I have no debt. This should not be considered an accredited business and is an obvious scam.

      This "company" consistently calls, and when I do answer, refuse to say who they are calling about and refuse to provide any proof of their claims. Clearly reading the rest of these reviews, these people are scam artists trying to make a quick buck from those who don't know better or who are vulnerable. If they won't provide proof in writing, don't even bother talking to them.

      These guys just appeared out of nowhere when I checked my credit score. I don't have any debt. I don't do loans, credit cards, or any of it. I don't have medical bills or anything past due even. I've never even heard of them.But here we are and they took 18 points with them, claiming I owe them $252.

      I started receiving calls a few months ago from Wakefield & Associates. I have asked them repeatedly to send me a copy of a bill. They say I owe money. But I won't pay until I receive a bill. The messages they leave I can hardly understand what they are saying. Horrible company.

      This company has hit my credit report for medical bills I have nothing to do with. They never communicated with me via phone or in writing regarding proof of the debt. I have called their offices and no one is able to provide me with documentation related to the collection on my credit report. This company is a scam.

      I've been receiving multiple calls despite sending a request of debt validation via certified mail. The letter was received as when I spoke to an agent he mentioned my account was a do not contact. The calls stopped for 32 days before starting again.I never received a response to my certified letter, and according to a different agent the address listed online is wrong (correct address btw is PO Box *****, *********, ** *****). I have proof the debt was originally paid and this was submitted to a previous debt agency.The final person I spoke to was condescending and became irritated when I asked her to speak up and slower because she was going to fast for me to understand.

      Wakefield & associates, reporting me with one collection to my credit report that affected my credit score to hard, they cant do that because that money they said I owe them its not true because my kids have a ******** they pay all the bills from hospital, they are not allowed to put me on collections so I really need they removed this account because I dont have any account with them, they call me every day thats crazy how they can do that ? I have 12 months fighting with them and they refuse to remove that collection they said I have to pay , I told them Im not because I didnt owe them anything

      I talked to a gentleman six months back about him being able to get this taken care of . I looked up the numbers and they come back as permanently closed. I reported this to the credit bureau. I have not got a response. I was wanting to pay the bill off last month and got nothing. No one to talk to but they reported again in February. Makes no sense ... I attempted to pay a bill in full of ****** but they are closed. ****** them the address and phone numbers.. sincerely **** s of ******* **

      The company has illegally reported a collection debt to the credit bureaus in my name. The alleged original creditors ****, PLC is not a company I have ever done business with. The company has not provided validation of this alleged debt (because it does not exist); yet, they continue with their scam tactics. They are violating the federal FDCP Act, which is civil; however, their actions appear to be criminal as well. Everyone should be alerted: the state licensing them, the **** BBB, Ripoff reported, every social media outlet and the general public. Personally, I am reaching out to BBB giving the company 5 business days to retract the lies they've reported, because I know exactly what to do.
