      Please read. This company is a mess. They deserve no stars. This is the second occasion in which I have sent money to my fianc and been rejected. I have been sending money to her on an ongoing basis for a long time. Western union treats you like a second class citizen. They have no right to block my payment. I have grown tired of them and am angered by their unfair business practices and inconveniences. Western Union has shown prejudice. Western Union assumes that you are a scammer. I am not. I am a law abiding citizen. Western Union has lost my confidence. I will seek an alternative method of remittance. I recommend others to be careful and do the same.

      Changed policy to be predatory and absolutely s**** over their customers. You used to be able to void a lost money order at the store you got it from and immediately receive a refund if you had the receipt. Now you have to call or fill out an online form and it takes 30 days to process, and they take $15 from you. They did not inform the companies that use their money order machines of this, as they had to call and find that out while I was at the store. I would give 0 stars if possible. Unless that policy changes I am never using them ever again.

      Awful customer service. They have no line where you can speak to a representative. Their entire process sends you in a never ending circle. They have been processing my refund for 2 months though the response clearly says it will take 30 days. They never keep me informed on anything. They also give you a useless customer iCare case number that you cannot use to check on the status of your refund. I would not recommend them.

      Like other customers been dealing with Western Union for a refund. The money was lost so I filed a claim. They sent me a check that I cannot cash or deposit into any account. Took the day off work to travel an hour out of my way to find out the check needed to be deposited. Well it won't deposit into my Chime account. So the check is no good. Called them and told them I wanted the money sent to a pickup location and it had to be sent to a different department. Please wait 24 to 48 hours. Waited all weekend. Then I was told the different department has just received my request I had to wait another 3 to 5 days. Waited three to 5 days and called back and the disapproved the claim. Mind you they are the ones owing me money. So resubmitted and waited another 3 to 5 days. Called back 8 days later and I'm told it still hasn't been approved wait 24 to 48 regular hours. This was for a bill to be paid and these ******s are playing **** games. I need my money returned to me.

      Frustrated with Western Union!!!! I moving and on a strict time limit with limited funds! I bought a money order totaling $886 for the apartment deposits! I had to take it back and get 2 different money orders totaling $886 but ** being told I have to wait 10 days for a return of the money order. I tried to cash it but wont go through! So now Im stuck with a order I cant do anything with and I have 2 days til Im supposed to move! Ive tried calling Western Union and cant get a human! This is ridiculous and very inconvenient for its customers!

      What a terrible company, I called two different "customer service" numbers and both hung up on me. I then went on chat. My question " I found a blank money order, should I shred it or send it to western union" the representative said I can't help you, I said give me an email address to ask this question, he said, "I can't help you". After the third time he said it I gave up. If this is how they treat people, I certainly will not be using their services. There are many ways to move money today!

      ** does not deserve any stars! I made a money order for $713 for rent and accidentally put it in the washing machine. Luckily, I was able to pull it out in time to get the numbers necessary to make a refund claim. HOWEVER! Contacting anyone is a joke as they don't speak ************* have had to constantly repeat myself to multiple people. I sent in the form and $30 fee certified mail (as directed) and ** sent me back the form saying that the receipt was unacceptable, but they kept the $30 fee and my original $713! This has been going in since June! I have copies of everything: original receipt reprinted from the store I bought the money order at, certified mail receipt, the refund money order stub with receipt, everything! And ** is STILL REFUSING to refund me my money. I have been told to submit another refund claim form with an additional $30 fee and "they'll look into it." THE MONEY ORDER WAS WASHED IN THE CLOTHES WASHER, RUINED, NEVER CASHED, AND I HAVE PROVEN I AM THE PURCHASER AND I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!!!!! Western Union is now scamming people and stealing their hard-earned money!!!

      Did send $50 from ****** to *******, transaction didn't go through but ** withdrew my money and will give it back in 7 business days, called them asked why and all they kept telling me go in person to a ** location, told them sure I'll go where is my money so I can send it again, they kept saying blah blah blah u'll have it back in ur acct in 7 business days. They ARE SCAMMERS

      Why is western union still allowed to be in business! They are a complete scam company! Theyve stolen peoples money and blocked people from using their service for no reason! I hope they go out of business or get shut down. They are not here to help us send our loved ones money but yet to charge a ridiculous fee and keep our hard earned money! BBB do something please

      Tried to send $ to my daughter with 4 kids like I have many times. She got there but couldn't get her $, I called Western Union and spoke to someone who asked me questions about the transfer and then tells me it is canceled when I asked why they said have a good day and hung up on me! My daughter needed gas money and food money as she's a single mom ended up stranded at Kroger cause of this! Will NEVER USE WESTERN UNION AGAIN!!!
