      *** been sending money to a woman in *************** to help her and her family. Western Union is now asking personal questions why I am sending it and how its being spent. That is none of their business! Now, Western Union wants me to download a link fill out some information thats none of their business. I will not be using their services again! I will transfer money a different way and not pay for the services of Western Union.

      I had to put 1 star but they definitely don't deserve it. They have by far the worst customer service department I ever had to deal with. They stopped my money order payment and I contacted them several times to resolve the issue. Each customer service rep asked me to follow a different procedure to resolve the issue and nothing has been resolved. They have no clue how to provide custome service. I filed an official complaint to the **** of financial protection and innovation in CA. Maybe they can help me get my money back. Do not use Western Union. Company that cannot be trusted with your money.

      I have always used ****** Union for money orders. This time theyve stolen my money order and keep giving me the run around about giving me my money back. I will never do business with Western Union again. Buyer beware!

      If I could give this company negative stars Id give them a negative 10. I went to a location to make a payment, this location used western union payment services. I gave the representative my account number explain this payment was for my rent and they said to me everything is processed correctly. I later find out my payment went to the wrong company, a company I dont know who they are. I call the customer service number for ******************************************* provider on my receipt. I explain the situation and ask if I could have this money refunded, they tell me I have to contact the company myself. Remember I dont know who the company is, he tells me to ****** the company and try that way because he cant give me any information on who this was sent to, he couldnt contact the company himself and didnt know who the payment was sent to. It has been more than a month, *** received letters from my landlord regarding eviction and things of this nature. I am looking into filling a lawsuit against western union.this has caused me much turmoil. How can the company who send the money not have any information on where or who they sent the payment to? I asked they my money be returned, or for the western union to reach out to the company who accepted my payment and get it back if they didnt want to give me the contact information, and they couldnt even do that. They wouldnt do that. Again I am seeking legal action against them.

      To whom it may concern: My name is *********************. I live in *********** **.On June 19 2023 I went to *********** ******* Supercenter. In ******* I bought Money Order for amount $ 745 . And then I continued shopping in *******, during this shopping I lost my money order somewhere. When I realized its gone I went to the person who had sold money order to me. He gave me money order serial number and said that I need to call ***************************************** ************************ When I got back home I started to call this Center. I reached out your agent and he said he put stop payment on this money order. He also sent me paperwork that I needed to do and mail it to Western Union.I finished this paperwork and mailed it to you. This paperwork was delivered to Western Union on June 24 2023, I have **** Tracking number to prove it.The problem is I never heard anything from them since then. I still didn't receive any money from Western Union. Why do they hold my money?! Are they trying to steal my money?! **************** is absolutely horrible in Western Union: I tried to chat with them and it was dumb robot sending dumb links! I won't give up my money! I won't stop bothering Western Union till I get full refund!

      I never before thought I was gonna be a customer of ******************************************* until 2021. I first started sending money through western union in July and they asked me for verification when I sent money to random groids in Africa but when I wanted to send money now in 2023 to some family, the rude unintelligent man on the phone said he couldn't do it because he needed to see my driver's license.I emailed them but I haven't heard back from western union, the email address they gave me was false and incurred extra charges on my account. They are very stupid how can they ask me for verification of money laundering or some thing if we have the same last name. Me and the recipient know each other but when I decided to send some money to some random scammers I don't know they decided to accept it. This business is racist towards people of color and brown people they also like to play games and act like it was ok for me to send to some darkies but they robbed me and the very nosy man in the fraud department said he was going to tell it to the police (that was I lie)I know what you're up to so u can't run those shady business tactics on me don't play dumb I will never use this company again

      I've been using Western Union since 2017. I've sent anywhere from 4 transactions a month consisting of 50.00-2000.00. Never a problem until March 30, 2023. Sent my son ******. When he went to pick up, he was told at ****** Supermarket in *********, ** that, "There is a hold on the transaction. A random hold to check for compliance." My son left and returned the next day and was told the money had been picked up. Immediately he called me to report the situation. I called the ** helpline and was told that my son needed to return to ****** and ask them to call agent services at ** and report the problem. ****** refused. Called ** and filed a complaint. Over 7 phone calls and 30 days later I am told that the case had been investigated. ** refuses to refund my ******. I'll take suggestions from anyone suggesting how the money was picked up when it wasn't. Do you think it is an internal problem with ** or ******? How was I scammed? I don't know.

      I have been doing business with Western Union for over 10 years, supporting my wife overseas. We had to fix a roof on our house so sent her the money. For some reason after 10 years of business, they decided that they wouldn't deliver it. Took them 7 days to decide that and then after both me and my wife called them several times and provided them with all the information they requested ( they said they couldn't find it) we had to give up and request the money back to send via another service. (Never ever trust them) Took over 2 weeks to get my money back so I could use a different service to get my wife the money to fix the roof. I will never trust or use this business ever again.

      Father sent me 50dollars ** ** and had a hold contacted customer support they told me to go on line to confirm id thru through Western unionid.com submit my driver's license wait 2 hours just for $50 sent ***** to Texas for me to my father for my father to me

      Could not collect money sent to me due to system error. Frustrating, as been going for over a week and still no resolution. They kept sending me to try different agents?! Hope the sender will be able to get refund and cancel the transaction. Not sure why they are still allowed to operate in ******. Is this institution not regulated? They can do as they please, with no regards to service (for which are still paid). Shame, shame, shame!
