      I guess I am the norm on my experience with Dish. Which is very unfortunate. I changed my subscription and dropped alot of add ons including *** package a few months ago, my next bill looked correct and my bill was reduced from $158 to $112/month. Low and behold, I got a bill for $160........yea, more than I was paying with all of those add ons! They charged me $35 for the *** package that I cancelled two months ago....when I tried to resolve it, they said I had to wait until next year because it was not in their notes that I cancelled???? ***. The hockey season literally just started a week ago so it's not like I used the package and then asked for a credit! The absolute worst customer service and company. As a customer, you should be able to cancel or modify your subscription ANYTIME.

      If I could leave no stars it would be more fittingI signed up in late June and was promised the $500. Prepaid Gift card that would come in the mail in 5 to 8 weeks. Well it still hasnt arrived. Ive called several times about this ( when your promised something, follow thru with it) only to get a run around. They tried to tell me that it was for the disconnect from my previous provider, (no where does it say that on the form) and I didnt have a disconnect fee from previous provider since I was with them for over 20+ yrs. Then the last time I called was on Oct 8, 2024 the guy guaranteed that I would get it in a few days, still no gift cardThey are now blaming Calibar Smart. Although now a report has been issued (here we go again)!!!! In the past reports have been issued but then found out they were dismissed.This issue should be between Dish Network and Caliber SmartNOT ME!!!!!

      My Bill ***** Going Up Without Any Reason or Call. I'm on auto pay & went from $77.33 to $91.51 to $142.97. And I'm sick of it & really thinking about changing!!

      I wanted to tell someone how disappointed and upset I was canceling my mother's ************ ************** is my frustration: My parents have been Dish subscribers for 14 years. Dad passed away a year ago, and Mom moved into a retirement home last month.Yesterday, while canceling, the representative kept pushing different plans. We are selling the house and dont want a different plan.Lastly, there is an early cancellation fee of almost $300.00. She is on a fixed income. I understand an early cancellation fee, but come on14 years, fixed incomethats just plain greedy.

      Called to cancel Dish and their representative told me I was paid up until October 9, 2024. Today, October 10, *************************************************** $30.95 for charges incurred from September 25 - October 10, 2024. Called to inquire and another representative told me that my payment is from September 25 to October 24, 2024. The first ****** gave me false information. They are telling me that there is nothing that they can do and I need to pay the prorated amount. This is ridiculous! And now they also want me to pay to recycle their equipment. They no longer accept the return of their equipment. Along with the price increases that are also ridiculous.

      They took over ************ back in 2020 and I recently got cell phone service from them but thru ************ and never used it they have charged my card for months even after i have called 5 different times to be told they cant disconnect my service, WTF!!!! They are thieves!!! who tells you they cant disconnect service???? Thieves!!!! who forces you to owe them money Dish Network / ************* That's who.... I'm getting a lawyer involved!!!! I've tried with these people and im going to sue them for going into my account when i have asked them 5 different times to disconnect my service that i have not used 1 piece of data on. For the added stress, for the money they STOLE from my account and for not doing what i asked which is disconnect my service. This was the final straw!!!! They don't deserve any stars!!!!

      If you need to move to an apartment that does not allow DISH to be installed then DiSH will charge you a fee every month that your service is paused. When you move your DISH service agreement is voided and you will have to finish out your contract for a much higher monthly fee even if you lower the channels that you watch. When your contract is over they will send automatic voicemails to tell you that the equipment that you sent back has not been recived and they are going to charge you more money. ***** DISH!

      Dish is absolutely horrible. My bill went from $107 a month to $172.00 this past month. The only way I can get the bill back down is if I sign a two year commitment. Also my local and premium channels are not working, so therefore I have to schedule a technician to come out. The cost of the technician is $100.00 or sign up for the coverage plan of and additional $11.60 per month. I will be cancelling my service ****. If you are looking to get DISH Newtwork don't do it. Save yourself the headache. The prices constantly change.

      **** customer since January 2002. Since January 2012 , **** has increased the price of the Top250 every year! Increases typically take effect in February each year in increments of $5/mo. The charge for local channels was moved out from under the Top250 billing to a separate fee in February 2017! As of October 2024, Top250 is $122.99/mo; and local channels are an additional $14/mo. Add in equipment fee, Dish Protect, taxes, and the total Payment Due is now $156.38 per month. Oh, by the way, we had to purchase a replacement remote, despite paying *****/mo for Dish Protect. This cost for Satellite access is not feasible for seniors on a fixed income. Programming offers infomercials, shopping networks, numerous channels we don't care to watch! Too bad, DISH can't offer viewing packages at senior rates, or packages designed for the viewers preferences.

      They have been doing autopay each month plus sending me a bill. I paid the bill as well.When I called due to my TV being shut off they told me there were multiple accounts which I disputed. They are shady and over billing as well as billing me for channels I do not get.I have used them for many years due to no other choices. Now that ******* (cable is finally in my area I will cancelling) Do not use them they are dishonest!
