      ONGOING BILLING CONCERN, account placed on hold 12/4/2024 (no service connection, relocated), Dish billed my bank account, x2 in new year, called my bank to have it returned, due to account on hold. Dish is now trying to collect $800.00, I told them I will not be paying and request it be review due to all amounts on account accrued after call to put account on hold. Now wait 5 days for their ********* to review why it wasn't put on hold. ****. Please investigate any company that offers you a service, and document every interaction with employees, in person and on the phone. Contact your lawyer if you are taken advantage of as this is an awful business practice for a company who very well could be eliminated with modern technology available to its customers. final note, be careful!!

      If i could leave 0 stars I would! They conned me in to a 2 year contract just for lowering my rate plan. I called back within 2 hrs. Said I wanted out of the contract with no luck! I found about 20 **** channels on the new lower plan. Called and said I wanted them off, too bad your stuck with them. TV often freezes, service can be really rough! This company will con you into a contract making you believe they are giving you a deal, when they are only lowering your plan. Super Shady! Buyer beware. Go some where else! This company has no integrity!

      I was totally misled by the sales people and when I called and was promised a discount because I was misled that never happened. I was also charged for several pay-per-view movies that I did not watch. I was told I could record pay-per-view movies. I was told I could record pay-per-view movies. They explained to me how you went about doing that when I attempted to do it I was charged for the movies I did not watch.

      DECEITFUL AND LYING **** TO ONLY MAKE MORE MONEY. I went to this company based on believing what the phone *** told me. Turns out some of it was outright lies. After installation we found that we could not get the local ***** League team as I had spefically asked about and she supposedly checked and confirmed we could. I also had asked about being able to pause service for vacation and was told yes we could. When time for us to leave for the winter and pause, I called and was told Yes I could put it on for 3 months and then it would automatically be restored. What was omitted in that conversation was the fact I WOULD LOSE ALL MY CREDITS AND PRICE FOR THE 2 YEAR CONTRACT! The *** was very careful to tell me the other conditions BUT NOT THIS ONE! **************** also was bad from the start and only one supervisor available and very little they could do but give you a few dollars. SUCH DECEITFUL BUSINESS PRACTICES to make money. Of Course I am now stuck in the 2 year agreement without any benefits. NO BUSINESS ETHICS OR CARE FOR THE PEOPLE THEY **** IN.

      Terrible customer service. Currently without *** and they value the inconvenience of not being able to watch my favorite show at $0.45. They did not even warn us that they were heading into negotiations. Unacceptable. Not the first issue with this issue. PAINFULLY suffered through their security hack. Lied to about free movies which all coupons disappeared during hack and fought to get them back. All the while prices just go up and service continues to go down.

      We tried Dish for two weeks, We were not happy with service. The installer said we had 30 days to cancel. So we did. They said because it was Oklahoma we could not get the 30 day cancellation. It has cost me $570.81 for Dish for two weeks. The system they put in was not working right and we had had enough dealing with the problems. We took them at their word. They said I signed a contract. Well, where is it? We signed a clip board that the service tech had. We never saw a copy. We just took their word. Which as you can see is "no good". Why do they not honor Oklahoma? Because it is a conservative state? I asked about ***** and they said the same thing!!!! Do not give Dish your business, unless you want to pay ****** a week for TV!!!!

      Worst customer service. You get told one thing and than next person tells you something completely different. Ultimately costing you money and they don't care. I wouldn't leave any stars if I could give a zero star rating.

      Dish is the worst company I have ever dealt with. We had the service less than a month and had to call 12 times with problems. I am so sorry I left *********, and the two year contract was not made clear to him about the two year contract. He is eighty-six and they never mentioned anything about a senior discount. Please DO NOT DEAL WITH DISH!!

      I was told 1 price but started charging a higher price. I argued that it was recorded what I was told and they said if that's true they would correct it. We'll I received a call back stating that after listening to the recording it was ruled in my favor (I was correct) but the person I spoke to said they CAN NOT honor the price they said. This is just flat out lying and dishonest. They tried offering me some kind of other deal, at this point I was so angry I don't even know what they said. I just know that once I'm off this contract I will never ever use Dish again and will not recommend them. They are very dishonest.

      After paying them $214 a month for 5 years, I had to wait on hold ***** minutes 3 times and converse with an obnoxious salesman another 10 minutes to simply close my account (moving). Then they charge a $25 "box fee" to return their stuff. ******!
