BUYER BEWARE! No Service, and no refund.3 weeks ago, my teenage daughter informed me that she had run out of data for the month -- meaning no more mobile data or MMS messages. I went to the Boost Mobile website and purchased the 1GB AddOn so it would continue to work; the purchase went through, but the data wasn't applied to her plan. We've contacted Customer Support on 5 different occasions and spent more than 4 hours on the phone, but no one has been able to help (ticket #*******). We've been told the ticket has been escalated, but other than that answers are hard to come by.Unfortunately, things got worse today. As part of the troubleshooting process, they sent us a new SIM card. We connected with support, had the **** and ICCID added to the account, inserted the new SIM, and now her phone can't receive calls or SMS messages either.I understand that technical glitches happen and can be difficult to resolve -- I write computer code for a living. But it's been THREE weeks. This past weekend, she missed out on an activity with friends because MMS messages won't load. And tonight she started a new job, but left her phone here with me as I try to find someone who can help. Our family of 4 signed up for the 12-Month Unlimited *********** +1GB plan in July, so we're in it to the tune of $400. I'm not interested in a refund -- I'd rather that the service worked -- but if we can't get the phone to work, a refund might be in order?

Told me I needed a new phone since they couldn't get the sim card to work. Purchased a phone at a boost mobile store then told me it was used. Needed a phone so said ok. Went to Best Buy and within minutes had my old phone working, Called Boost Mobile and spoke with a supervisor that said I had seven days to return it and gave me a reference number. Took the phone I purchased back to boost mobile but, the would not take it back.Boost Store Employees do not know one thing about cell phones.!!!!!

As a long time Boost customer, I would have expected better service but they don't care about anything except taking your money. It all started when I noticed I was being charged $35/mo for their most basic data plan even though they offer a $35/mo 10G data plan. When I tried to switch, Boost charged me twice in the same month because they claim I restarted my plan. Why would I want to pay twice for the exact same service. I called customer service and was assured that I would see a credit for the double charge after explaining the issue. Day passed, no credit. Called customer service again and this time, the guy said that he couldn't issue a credit and the previous customer service agent was incorrect. I informed the guy that I would be disputing the charge with my credit card company. At this point, I've lost hours on the phone (including time on hold and don't get me started on how hard it is to get connected to a live agent). My credit card company opens a file and issues a temporary credit while the claim is pending. Boost has the gall to suspend my account without warning. I can't call customer service because I have no service. I try chatting with their agents online and was told I could make a payment at a store to un-suspend my account and that she would make a note in my account that I expected a credit thereafter. I drove to a store and the agent there says no-can-do. She can't take payment by card and the person online was wrong. She suggested going to ******* and getting a prepaid boost card and at this point I'm frustrated beyond measure. I do it anyway because I can't even switch providers with a suspended account. So now Boost has cost me time and money but they dare think I'm the one committing theft by disputing their double charge?! Never again. I'd rather pay more for actual service. To date the issue has not been resolved.

Short story: We bought new phones at Boost because we were told we could keep our plan. We got the monthly bill, and it was way more. The store said there was nothing they could do and GUARANTEED us that Boost **************** wouldn't help us either. MWAH HA HA! I took that as a challenge. While binging some shows I called Boost 19 times over three days for a total of 12 hours and 39 minutes on the phone with them. They finally fixed it. Take THAT guy at the Boost store who likes to scam people! MWAH HA HA! I had fun and got to talk to a lot of interesting people.

My son is in the hospital going through chemo for Leukemia (16 yrs old), and they sent me a warning about my data usage (supposed to be unlimited), so I turned off my mobile data and switched to wifi. The very next day they terminated my service! We have never been late on our payments and have been customers for years. These pos shut my phone off at the absolute worst possible time when my son is battling cancer and I have to leave the hospital to go to work sometimes. Now the hospital has no way to get in touch with me and my son doesn't either. I cannot believe how scammy they are and that they did this foe no reason during the worst time possible!

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I simply ordered a SIM card, used a credit card to pay for it, and the purchase was a little over 2 bucks. Then I decided to stay with ******* and never even activated the card. In 30 days they charged my credit cars over 24 dollars. I called repeatedly and could not get anything done because I did not have a phone number since I had never activated. At one point I was told by supervisor that someone must be using my card fraudulently which was such a joke. They were charging my card even though I had never activated. Finally I was able to get it disputed and taken care of through my credit card company but they tried to charge it again before the dispute was settled...after writing customer service and calling repeatedly. Thanks to the credit card company I was able to do a stop payment with that particular business until the dispute investigation was finished. The whole thing was so fraudulent. I have no record of signing up for recurring payments. I never even put the sim card in my phone.

I traveller back to the location where the phone was purchased and am told they will not refund my money. i have had Boost Mobile for years and the only time i have issues is when i'm out of state. No big deal cause i don't leave my area that much. But my issue is that my IPhone XR that I have insurance on volume stopped working and only can hear if i put the speaker on and then i can only hear a whisper. So i made a claim and the insurance company that Boost uses it's called ****************** sent me a IPhone SE which is a down grad. It's a lot smaller. I've sent emails, messages on there website and I've called them and they keep giving me the run around. It's either there system is down or somehow i get disconncted. I had to pay over $100.00 to get a new phone and was sent a down grad. i think Boost should invest in another insurance co. They are loosing a long time customer because of this.

On 11/5/2022 This Man Ripped me off at Boost Mobile he refused To give me a receipt to detail my Activation charge, he said his printer was broken, When I called boost mobile, They said he should not have Charged me what He charged, I Went back for a receipt the next day he still would not Give me one, I asked to look at the Transaction on the Computer, he Charged me For phone Accessories that I did not purchase I asked him why, he stated that the computer generates the transaction , and he would not give me a refund. I was over charged $60, I wonder how many other customers he did this to?
