    Sling advertises that it is live broadcasting the soccer worldcup. However after subscription found out that only 1-2 games were broadcasted live. After talking to their customer service including a supervisor called *****, found out that the statement was wrong as the games were on Fox local channel which was not in the subscription at least in my area. Asked to refund my money but both supervisor and the other agent refused. It is simple, Sling is scamming people by false advertisement.

    You indicated that you signed up for Sling TV for the World Cup, but found that only one to two games were being broadcasted live. You stated that this goes against what is being advertised on Sling. You requested a refund.

    Sling TV advertises that select FIFA World Cup matches are available on FS1, which you can view using Sling Blue. Additionally, Sling TV discloses that local Fox matches are available in select markets, and therefore not all customers will be able to view matches that are broadcast on local Fox stations. You can view which World Cup matches are available here: https://www.sling.com/programming/sports/soccer. Furthermore, to access all games, Sling TV recommends Sling Blue plus World Sports Mini, Peacock, and Paramount Plus, which is referenced on the linked page.

    A review of your Sling TV account shows that you have had active usage and your account is set to cancel on December 25, 2022, which is at the end of your current bill cycle. Sling TV's policy states that refunds are not provided for prepaid or partial months of service, and if canceled, your service will remain active until your renewal date.

    On 11/28/2022, I was trying to stream a hockey game, Devils vs Rangers. It said on my television I needed a subscription to Sling TV to watch the game. So, I subscribed to Sling TV for the promotional price of $27.50. After logging into Sling TV, I noticed that Sling was not showing the game. Which to me is false advertisement. So, within 10 minutes of signing up, I canceled with the reason of the game that was advertised was not available ON 11/28/2022. I received an email immediately stating my subscription is CANCELED. I noticed on my credit card statement that I was charged $27.50. So, I called Sling TV customer service and told the woman about what happened and would like a full refund immediately. She went into the system and told me the system is not letting her refund me because it says I Canceled the next day 11/29/2022 Which is a lie! I Canceled 10 minutes after I found out about the False Advertisement. I even have the email showing with the date 11/28/2022. This is a despicable scam by Sling TV lying I Canceled the next day! So, I said to the agent, that's it? You not going to do anything else to refund me money? She stated no she can't. I said Well, I have no choice to file a dispute with my credit card company and file a BBB Complaint to get my refund. She stated she understands. This is all on the recording of the phone call. This is terrible service, especially to treat a Disabled Veteran that way. Sling should be a shame of themselves.

    This is the second time I tried to put gift cards on my account and my account is not receiving it as payment and my service is canceled. I need my service TO BE WORKING TODAY. Im tired of writing you to get resolved.     I cancelled Sling on November 22, 2022. I have been double charged since Jan 2, 2022. They say that there is another email that they used as a second account that is why they started charging me. double.     I have a $35 monthly plan, however sling charged and deducted my PayPal account $387 and $409 without notification in Oct and Nov 2022.Sling acknowledged I had been getting charged $35 monthly and Oct and Nov charges are out of ordinary and unauthorized and did not notify me. Sling account is connected to devices that do not belong to me, can provide evidence. Again, merchant did not notify of these changes. ******** acknowledged error/fraud and only solution they provided was a credit to account. ******** suggested we call PayPal. I do not want a credit- I would like my money back.

    December 2Report Number November 2 signed up for promtional package for my cousin ******************************* ******************* using my credit card. This is what the websirte said about local channels with a ****** Which was great because he wanted to watch the ************************* SNY and **** on YES Network both local cable channels. After I signed up for the sports package add on, I though it included those local cable channels and looked back to confirm and it didn't. The "AND MORE." was misleading and false advertising by omission and NOT stating it didn't carry LOCAL cable channels under the AND MORE. Below please see the language. When I call right away to cancel i was told I would have to pay for the rest of the month but could cancel now. I didn't believe the agent what had just happened was afraid if I canceled now my entire subscription would be canceled and my wife agreed. When I want to confirm my Social Security direct deposit was made on December 2nd the charge of $70 appeared. Filed a complaint with the Department or Consumer of Affairs and was told to file with FTC which I just did because when I attempted three times to explain via their bot which is horrendous, which does everything within its power not to allow you that option except after several attempts, I was able to get a Live Agent. The conversation started out very pleasant and then as soon as stated my explanation, they went right into the fine print. I explained they carried Fox Sports which is a local regional channel and this wasn't much different and by saying "any more" they never stated they didn't carry local CABLE channels and this was misleading advertising my omission. I told the agent I was going to contact the **** ended the conversation.
