    I signed up and paid for the first month. They held true, I could watch all of my channels and shows. However, I could not hear them for more than five (5) seconds. After over an hour with their customer support and seven tries to make sure nothing on my computer was on mute and two (2) hard boots of my computer they wanted to know what kind of TV I had, "What does that have to do with the price of rice in *****? We are trying to get your stuff to work on my laptop!" So, they said they would send a work order. To whom and to work on what?It took less than five (5) seconds, SECONDS, for them to take my money, but now that they have it they won't give it back for ***** days even though I cancelled their silent service less than two hours after signing up, over one of those two hours was on the phone with their "customer ******** ************ That was a big disappointment and a HUGE waste of my time. An orangutan that had already had a total frontal lobotomy when his/her arms and legs were amputated would have been as much help.Don't waste your time or money on Sling.

    Sling TV is a pain. I used more of my limited internet plan with ****** Net just to spin in circles trying to get the stupid app set up. Then, the app would NOT allow the removal of "extras," after prompting me to add them for free, during the first go round with Sling TV. I do not need a video of a dumb blonde chick explaining stuff. I just need to click, give my credit card info, not have my cookies read, and watch the *** playoffs. I already have other streaming services. Because the *** cares only about money, who cares about ***********? Only people with fat pocketbooks and unlimited time to spend watching their internet spin in circles, that's who.

    My husband and I wished to watch a show live vs. watching it the day after it airs. We did what any other logical person would do which is ****** the show's name and when you do so it has a section on there that says where you can watch it and what kind of subscription you will need for that platform. We saw that it said sling tv premium subscription so went and restarted the account we had closed a while back with sling tv. After doing so we searched for the show to watch it and found that not only could you not watch it live, but you couldn't watch it AT ALL. It was not a show that they aired on their platform. We immediately canceled the subscription and decided we would call in the morning to just get a refund for the mistake. NOPE. This is not something that they will do, even acknowledging the incorrect information online. Their customer service team is unable to do such a thing. They are also unable to give out the manager they speak with about the issue's first name. Said manager is not allowed to email you in regards to the denial of a refund. This is ridiculous in this age and as good as stealing under false advertisement.

    I paid for their crappy service. Tried to watch it for 2 days after I paid for the service and it half way worked. I canceled on the 2nd day and called them to get a refund for service that I couldnt use. They told me that they could not refund my money and there was no way to transfer me to a management team. I will never recommend these crooks to no one and hopefully people will stop using their service and shut them the h*** down.

    We canceled our Sling TV subscription in November 2022. Three months later we received a "Welcome Back to Sling TV" email stating we had reactivated our account. We contacted customer service through the chat service and explained that we had not reactivated our account, and were told that someone 'must have logged in to Sling TV' and that *** have been what reactivated it. They canceled the subscription for ** for the following month but said they couldn't cancel the current month. We had to argue to get a refund (even though we contacted them on the SAME day that it was reactivated). They eventually gave ** a refund. We also changed our password and deleted the app on ALL of our TVs and devices. Now, once again, three months later, we got another "Welcome Back" email. So... we contacted customer service through chat again and were told that the account wasn't reactivated on their end so it must have been done through our online account or an app login. This is literally impossible since we changed the password to something ridiculous like "DoNOTuse SlingTV" (not the actual password), and only the 2 adults in the house knew the new password. In addition, we had to re-install the app to even enter the new password to look into how this happened. We filed a complaint through BBB and received a response from Sling TV explaining that it is their practice "to store payment information to simplify the payment process for customers, and to simplify the restart process after an account is closed." Even if you stop service, BE AWARE... Sling TV only removes credit card information upon a customers request, and somehow, without anyone providing a plausible explanation other than "it must've been someone in your home" ... (it wasn't!)... your service can randomly restart even if you stop service, change passwords, AND remove the app! It all seems like a very shady practice!

    I read online that Sling TV had content available that I was interested in watching so I downloaded the app on my device. I clicked Free Trial to make sure I had an opportunity to see the content before I paid, but it made me input billing information to complete the free trial. I finished signing up and went on the platform only to see what I was hoping to view wasnt available so I cancelled immediately, all within a matter of maybe 15 minutes. A few days later I noticed the company had charged me for a full month of the service even though I clicked free trial and immediately cancelled, never to log onto the platform again. I attempted to contact the company but the wait times were always very long. Eventually I got in contact with them after a long wait only to get in contact a service rep who obviously wasnt interested in helping me. They refuted everything I noted from the start and said there was nothing they could do about and wouldnt issue me a refund. I never used anything related to the service and cancelled after 15 minutes. All together a pretty frustrating experience.

    I have had Sling TV for years. It was good for years, but recently Sling service has been terrible.Frequent buffering problems, constantly disconnecting and stating there are internet problems (even though I have high speed internet) and my internet service works fine on everything else - ******** etc., the *** function no longer works. The number of problems with sling now is crazy, and too many to mention here! Not worth the stress in trying over and over again to get the system to work. I tried for months to contact sling, and customer service is always completely busy. YOU CANNOT GET THROUGH TO CUSTOMER SERVICE TO TALK TO ANYONE. Even chat does not allow any interaction with a representative.Sling is definitely having issues, and I would recommend against becoming a new Sling customer. **************** now.

    Enjoyed the service for awhile and would subscribe for a few months at a time. However, it reactivated my subscription automatically without my authorization and billed me. No problem, I thought, I'll ask customer service for a refund. After 20 minutes looking everywhere on the site, dealing with the 'chat bot' that gives you no opportunity to not follow their tree, and then finally finding a number to call, I was immediately hung up on by being told the number was not currently being answered. Just awful, worse than dealing with the cable companies. It's really too bad because the product itself is unique and could be so good.

    I have had Sling TV for approximately a year but we haven't been using it. We decided to cancel it so I went to the website and followed all prompts to cancel the service all the up to the confirmation page. Another reason for the decision to cancel was the need to tighten finances due to unexpected expenses recently. They proceeded to charge us the next month and overdraw my bank account. They refused to pay the overdraft fee and ended the cost when I requested to speak to a supervisor.
