    Sling is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. My husband signed up to ****** to watch cricket in 2018 as we now live in the ** and they are the only channel to show the cricket. We cancelled the subscription and realized months later they were still charging us. Then did online chat and called them to try to get it refunded. The refused to refund. I couldn't cancel online as they must intentionally make it impossible to cancel the subscription online, and I asked the person on the phone to cancel. The said they did, but didn't infact. Then thinking for the last 203 years it was cancelled it wasn't, and even worse, it has gone from $10 per month to $34 per month and they keep charging us and upgraded us to Sling + Extras. They have overcharged us more then $1000 illegally. Logged on again today and was able to cancel online, thankfully. Then called them to get reimbursed, as we haven't logged on in year to this as we had cancelled this is February 2020, which our account reflected that for a month or two. Then it started charging again. Long story short, in their terms and conditions they don't offer refunds or reimbursements. I will be contacting AMEX and they should be able to dispute these charges for me.Sling TV are disgraceful.

    I set up service with Sling TV mid March via a promotion where I would receive the ****** anywhere device for a reduced price of $99 if I prepaid for 3 months worth of service. The transaction noted that the item would ship within 48 hours. After not receiving a notification of the item being shipped after a few days I reached out. There response was that it was just delayed and be patient. I again reached out after a week went by and got the same response. After two weeks I was told there was a data breach in February and it was causing delays on all orders being shipped out. I tried to be understanding but they couldn't even offer an estimated time for the item to be shipped. I kindly asked to cancel the transaction and was told that wasn't possible as the transaction was complete and it was a pre-paid service. I didn't understand this as the transaction wasn't complete as a large piece of what I ordered and paid for never even shipped. So I was just left to wait and hope that someday soon the item would ship. It has now been nearly a month and a half since I placed my order and no end is in site. I can't get a refund even though they never sent me what I paid for and we are well over the initial 48 hour shipping window they initially quoted. I would strongly recommend that people stay away from this company. It is a very large company and I never expected to be treated like I was being scammed out of my money. I would have gone another direction had they told me up front the issues they were having but that wasn't ever noted before the transaction. I would hope that a large corporation like this would do the right thing and just refund people on orders that they can't process instead of holding them hostage to their own time lines.

    Ive had Sling for several years. The payment is posted as Amazon Pay then to my credit card. In April I noticed my bill had increased without notifying me of rate hike. The customer service person (csr) told me I had added channels in February 2023 to include Portuguese channels. Dont speak or read Portuguese nor do I know anyone that does. The csr said I had been hacked and it was my fault that I use a public WIFI. My accounts including Sling are only accessed through my home via my iPad or laptop which never leave home. Refused to give me credit for the 2 months the Portuguese channels were on the account. *** wanted me to believe that someone got through my motion detection cameras undetected, disabled my alarm system, got past my Doberman, got into my locked safe to get the passwords for my iPad, laptop and account passwords. Then got out undetected. I had called Sling in early February when I started seeing some Middle Eastern advertisements and no mention of the addition of the Portuguese channels. After being belittled by the *** I found that Sling had been hacked. I filed a dispute with my credit card company. Sling then went and issued a disconnect of my service effective April 29th 2023. Again, called Sling April 5th 2023 where I was assured that no service interruption. Today I see the credit card company reversed my credit as the Sling claimed I had never informed them to cancel. Service was not cancelled by me I only disputed the Portuguese channels. Called Sling again where I was informed to call Amazon as they cancelled it. Not true. Called Sling again where I was informed billing had issued the disconnect and no way to stop service from being disconnected on the 29th. Multiple phone calls and hours on the phone. *** refused to let me speak to someone else. Please note the ***s are in the *********** and English is not their native language. It is sometimes difficult to understand them.

    I signed up for sling tv mostly to watch the Superbowl 01/2023, I did the free trail at first and the quality was so bad the screen kept freezing at key moments. I found that Fox online worked perfect to I canceled sling and watched it on FOX. Several months later someone hacked into my account and bought a PPV show that I did not authorize on 4/22/23 upon logging in I realized that had been charging me $40/month on a subscription that I canceled. I contacted customer support which might I add the first guy that came on dropped me after waiting 20 min to get to him, and the second person said that nothing could be done and they do not refund money once a purchase has been made. This itself tells me the company has this issue frequently and is starting to fail. During are conversation as well when asked to speak with a manager to help resolve this issues I was immediately dropped. Currently this company has stolen $206 from me and refuses to return any of it or even speak to me about this matter. To make matters worse there is no phone number to even call either. I would like this company to make this right but I doubt they will do that. Moving forward I will be telling everyone to avoid sling TV at all costs as there security is poorly managed, it is the only service I have used where someone has gotten into my account and made a purchase, makes you wonder what else has been stolen that they have on file. I would not recommend this service to anyone as they cannot back up anything that they say. Overall "0" stars.

    cancelled my subscription then they stole $55 dollars out of my bank account and tell me they dont refund my money i just want my money back PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!

    Sling TV resubscribed me without my permission months after I had cancelled my service. They charged my credit card on file for 4 months of service at $40 a month. I had to have a new credit card issued which I hope stops them. I was unable to remove the credit card from my old account on the website. *** spent hours trying to call and waiting on chat to speak with a live agent. Once I finally reached a person, they said someone in my household must have resubscribed me. I live alone so that did not happen.Never ever subscribe to Sling TV.

    This company keeps insisting that I used their app but I no longer have it and I was charged for 2 months of service $80 and they dont have a complaint department

    Received an e-mail offer to receive Half off price for Sling Orange package however upon re-activation of my old account i was charged $55 for Sling Orange + Blue, contacted company IMMEDIATELY was on hold 35 minutes then told there was nothing they would do for me. Instead of giving me a credit back of $35 they would rather lose a customer for life. Terrible customer service and very deceptive advertising practices.
