    I had Sling TV several years ago and thought it was a pretty good streaming service. I moved on from them and on the 13th thought I would give them a go again. Once signed up I realized I needed to purchase other equipment in order to get local channels. I immediately cancelled my service, sent an email for a refund. Heard nothing from them. Called phone number that conveniently they don't use anymore. Got on chat today and was told they do not refund and besides I cancelled on the 13th (within an hour) and today is the 17th. I let them know what I thought and then came here to put my 2 cents (actually $32.18) worth on a review. Stay away from the company.

    If you are thinking of subscribing to Sling, take my advice and don't!! We subscribed only to watch all the *** games. The company stated that the Sling Orange + Blue is the best package for streaming *** games. After subscribing, we realized all the games were not available to watch. The website showed you had to purchase addons in order to watch more of the *** games, so I added that fee also to our account. That did not help either. Evidently, they don't offer our local channels in our area! I tried to contact them, but they don't have a CS phone number. That's a red flag right away. They are very misleading and are not a reputable company! I don't know how they can stay in business.

    I paid them with my debit card through ***** and they are saying that they dont see the payment. I have screenshot of payment with order id. I only have had sling for one day and I hate them. Wish I never did them. Stay away from this company and do another streaming company that doesnt waste your time, play games, and nonsense!

    Sling TV is certainly one of the cheaper streaming apps available, but be advised of two things I have learned ... first, you won't necessarily get all the *** games and quite possibly you won't get any of your team's games if you're not in the right market; and, secondly, if you ask for a refund or even a prorate you won't get it. You have to cancel within 24 hours. How the h*** are you supposed to know if you'll get your game on Sling within 24 hours unless you wait till the day of the game to sign up. The agent says you could have asked us for "our" calendar!! I'm in ****, ******* and I had Sling for 16 days ... got the last **************** preseason game "within" 24 hours of signing up!! Thought maybe this was going to work out. Had to wait another 15 days before the ******** actual season started, but it wasn't aired on Sling. Canceled the next day. Explained my situation to the agent, but no refund or pro-rating. If it works for you and your team I wish you all the best.

    Someone reinstated a previously closed account I had with **********************. I contacted Sling and they told me they are unable to reimburse me. I asked for the login information (i.e. IP address, session information, and/or device information) for who reinstated the account. ********************** told me they are unable to provide this information for privacy reasons even though it was under my account which I was stuck footing the bill for. While discussing this with their customer service representative over the chat feature the first representative disconnected me because I was asking too many questions he was unwilling to answer. When I contacted a second representative and asked to speak with a manager over their customer service representatives he refused to provide me that information. When in the history of customer service has a manager not been available for contact with the public? What actions or controls are in place to ensure proper communication between the **** and the customers if no manager is present to hold them accountable when they intentionally disconnect a customer with a valid complaint?

    I tried a free trial offer and was charged over $20 after cancelling the service withing 3 hours. After reaching out to Sling customer Service all they said sorry for the inconvenience. Do not order there services they will charge your Credit Card even after saying its a free trial service.

    1st mo $20 orange promo, paused til 8/8 due to wifi down. tried to open today, but restart delay caused us not to see the sports event sought. went back to pause. sling software automatically cancelled my last 3 promo wks & immediately charged my card $43.60, per their protocols, unbeknownst or understood by me. i did a live agent chat who confirmed that status, took to 800 line to ********************************* *** confirmed the same position. I advised that i believed that to be false & misleading, or easily misunderstood, at the very least. Unimpressed, sling *** said that was the way it was. I had indicated i would dispute the charge w/MC card services, file **************************** to which the online agent documented they'd welcome responding to any filed complaints. Recapping, 1wk promo, paused, reopened for less than an hour show too late for viewing, went back to pause. At that point sling software protocols took over, despite myself inquiring on promo new customer use, dates assigned & billing. 1wk use, i paid $20, plus sling in 1hr today cancelled promo (3 remaining wks) started me as new non-promo for $43.60, immediately charging my card, even though I called them to cancel rather than pause the account & to request the charge be cancelled. they refused. I paid a total of $63.60, plus tax on 1st $20, for 1 wk trial (until we lost our wifi), which i liked & thought i wanted to continue using. Not now, if ever! That'll be up to sling. I like their service, but dislike their new customer protocols. That's it.

    No local channels! Purchased a four-month football deal to watch my team, but the first two weeks of the season the games have been on local channels. Their ads make it seem like they carry all of the games, but they do not have ***, ***, ***, or ***. I canceled without watching anything on Sling TV and had to purchase two other services to get what Sling advertised. Sling customer service said that they do not issue refunds. NO REFUNDS!

    BUYER BEWARE!!! Purchased the prepaid 4months for a special ******. Sling advertised as having *** and *** for football. They do not. They make it purposefully ambiguous with their refund policy. In fact when you try to cancel it is only then they clearly state there IS NO REDUND. Sling is no better than your typical offshore scammer. They are disingenuous and profit from ambiguity. In effect they scammed ****** from me with no way to recover.
