- Spimba Inc. continued to delay their anticipated ship date to always be 30 - 45 days out. While checking in with them on multiple occasions via email, and their website chat (no phone option) the agents provided many excuses from logistics issues to customs issues, and beyond to account for the delay. After being 3 months late, I requested a refund on July 19th to which they never responded and are now not responding to any requests I make. Looking at multiple company review sites, I am not alone in my experience. My hope is that this complaint will save other families less fortunate than mine from having their money stolen with no goods provided.

Spimba Inc, is a company that makes Spimbey Playsets. On June 28, 2022, I ordered a spimbey playset deluxe with a playdeck XXL +playhouse minor + monkey bars for the amount of $1939 which included the price of the playset and also shipping. The company noted that they would provide estimated delivery information the beginning of August with delivery occurring "the second half of August". It is currently August 31 and we have not received an estimated delivery date and therefore no delivery of the playset. I have reached out to the business via their email and their chat box, which are the only ways to contact this business, with no response. I have requested to cancel my order with a full refund, again with no response.Initial Complaint

On March 10th, 2022 I ordered a playset for my daughter. The order number is 24350 and I spent 1,725.00. This amount has already been charged to my credit card. At the time of my order, delivery was anticipated by end of April to Mid May. After that date came and went, I had to keep contacting the company to get updates on the status of the shipment, which kept pushing out. They kept promising they would prioritize the order and that they were having warehouse issues and were in the process of switching warehouses and it should ship in the next 1 to 2 weeks. That was over a month ago. I am now in the process of attempting to receive a refund and have had no success. I have been trying for 3 weeks and they said they would send me a secure link to input my bank account number to receive the refund to but I never received it. My last 2 requests for an update have resulted in no follow up from anyone. I now have no playset and am out $1,725. They also want to charge me a $300 restocking fee for the refund which I think they should waive because I have no "stock" to give back. Google reviews suggest many other people are in the same boat as me. This business seems either to be failing or a scam and I'm not sure which.Initial Complaint

This is their first email.
Since then I am getting a bad credit reporting from Affirm where the playset had been purchased. I have explained this to Spimbey. They just keep telling me it is with their finance and to expect it in a few days. Now that I told them my credit is getting bad over this, they have quit writing me back. I need to know what avenues I have that I can take. I have requested a call from Supervisor and they do not have a phone service.

I purchased a playset from Spimba Inc. in December 30, 2021 - item was promised to be delivered within 3 months time. Due to shipping delays at the time the delivery, time was extended to the end of March 2022. After the second or 3rd update from Spimba Inc., I had to reach out to obtain additional information (i waited until the end of April to give them additional time due to the mentioned shipping issue). From that time until June 2022, Spimba Inc. kept pushing the delivery date due to shipping and warehouse issues. By mid June 2022 i reached out to cancel the order because it was not delivered nor it seemed like they where attempting to deliver it. They proceeded to try and charge me a $300.00 dollar fee from a newly updated cancelation/return policy. At my time of purchase that was not applicable so I mentioned I had a copy of the original policy and would be looking into disputing the charge with my CC. They then responded with an email stating that, they had talked to management and I would be getting a full refund via WISE. I responded with a denial and requested a full refund to the original form of payment since that's how a merchant should be refunding their customers. They again offered the WISE method and I've requested a code of some sort or cancellation confirmation but at the moment they are no longer being responsive.Initial Complaint

On 06/02/22 a purchase of $1619 (Invoice 40789 attached) was made for a swing set to be delivered to our home address. At the time of purchase, the estimated arrival of the product was mid-July 2022. Item exceeded ETA and a requester of status was made via email. Spimbey stated that the company was changing warehouses and it was causing delays and changed the ETA to early August. Upon attempting to contact Spimbey about status again it was noted that all of their social media has been deleted, and their status on Google shows CLOSED. We demand a full refund of our money and request the assistance of the BBB for a resolution.
