Ordered a play set in March that kept getting pushed back. Now I see they have filed bankruptcy. There are other people with the same issue. They promised a $50 refund and to stay in contact about shipping date. They kept saying that they were switching warehouses and that was why there was a delay. Still nothing. Now they are not responding and have taken down their socials.

I ordered a playset in April 2022 with an expected delivery date of June2022. It is now almost September 2022. The company has not delivered anything. I paid them $993. After several emails promising different delivery dates, I requested a refund. The company will no longer respond to emails. The company advertises online as selling high end, customizable swing sets & play sets for children. My wife and I made a large purchase with the company in June, and they never delivered. We made multiple attempts to contact their Customer Service team (attached) and ultimately they agreed to a $844 refund. It has now been almost 4 months and we have not seen the refund. Since making our purchase, we have begun to see more & more reviews online of similar situations of people losing their money.
Now our emails to the company go unanswered and we believe we have been scammed. We are contacting your office for assistance in trying to refund our money, but to also bring attention to their business practices. The feedback and overall perspective from many of their other customers is that this business should be shutdown. We feel taken advantage of and are asking you for help.Initial Complaint

Ordered a playset from Spimbey on April 26,2022 for $2,305. It took several attempts to get a supposed accurate delivery date; that being in June. 8-10 emails ensued inquiring again when the true delivery date was. Replies of supplier and warehouse issues occurred that prompted a reply of middle of August delivery. A requested order cancellation was made by me and the reply was that I would incur a cancellation fee of $300 to do this. When I refused the company made an offer to add in a comparably priced accessory as an add on of which I accepted and a new delivery date of between 8-18 and 8-22 was made. The product was still undelivered by 8-22. The company filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy on 8-22. I have emailed twice after this with no replies.Initial Complaint

I ordered a playset for my children on April 12th with the understanding that it would be received in early July. In June I still had not received a shipping update so I reached out and I was told that that it was still in process and that my order was being marked a priority. I followed up again in July and was told that I would receive my order in the second half of August. I reached out again in the second half of August and I was told that I would be receiving in early September. I complained about this at this point and two days later I was told that I would receive my order in the second half of September. I responded back stating that they contradicted what the previous rep told me two days prior and that I would like an exact date of when I can expect my product to be delivered. No response was received so two days later I requested to cancel my order and requested a refund. It's now been two days and I still have not received a response or a refund. This company is a scam, I paid $1028 for a playset that we will never receive and they will not refund my money. They are thieves!Initial Complaint

I ordered a Deluxe Play set plus accessories from Spimba, Inc. on March 9, 2022. I was promised my play set would be delivered to our home June 8 - 10th. I contacted the company on June 10th to ask when I could expect our purchase. They continued to bait me, telling me that I would receive it in a couple of weeks. I order a play set from Spimbey.com on May 18,2022. The cost is $1,719. The date today is August 26,2022 and I have not received the order. The origin delivery was July 5-8 and every time I contacted costumer service they said they could not provide and details but to wait a week or two. On August 25 I tried contacting them again with no answer and the company has filed for bankruptcy. There is a Facebook page of over 600 people that all have the same issue with Spimbey/Spimba Inc. order number 38462 they never provided any tracking number saying the warehouse is the only one who could provide that but in late July they claimed they had to switch warehouses but never provide any more information about that.
