      Hello,
      I ordered a playset from Spimby on June 16, 2022.
      The order number was 41837 for a total of $1599.
      Their website wanted shipment times of 30-40 days when I ordered the item.
      I started inquiring about my order on August 1. They responded to my first three emails claiming that my order would either be shipped by August 22 or I would get a refund. I have emailed them 3-4 more times since August 22, and they have not responded to my latest emails.
      I tried calling them on (302) 485-5356, the online phone number, but the line is always busy.
      The online chat representatives which I have successfully contacted in the past are now showing offline even during a listed business day.
      I have no hopes this company will fulfil my order. I believe they are a scam, especially after reading numerous similar complaints online by other consumers.
      Please help.
      I am not sure what to do here to get my money back.

      Order placed 3/4/2022 with the company. 8/26/2022 and not received. Company emails me back constantly to say it’s logistics issues. Hundreds of complaints and groups online with the same issues. Facebook group has been taken down, website is up. This is a scam that stole $869 of my money. I have hundreds of emails I can forward as evidence.

      My husband and I purchased a play set from Spimbey (Spimba, Inc) on May 13, 2022 --Playset order #37329 for $1,988.00. The play set was was delivered on June 23rd, however, the boxes were broken open and multiple parts to the payset were severely damaged. The damage to the wooden pieces was so significant that we could not safely assemble the play set in its delivered condition. On June 24th, I sent my first (of many) emails to the customer service team explaining the issue. The company did acknowledge the issue, but asked me to do extensive work (pictures, part numbers, and full explanations of damaged items) in order to process my claim. I sent all of this information (including pictures) to them on June 27th. I didn't hear back from them until July 5th, when they asked me to send them even more detailed information about the damaged parts. We never received clear instructions as to *how* they planned to resolve the issue. After about 7 follow up emails they told us the plan was to send replacement parts for the damaged items, but that they were moving warehouses and had no way to track or obtain information about said parts. I have requested a refund from the company directly, and was told that I would have to send it back to them before they would provide a refund (hundreds of pounds worth of wood and other material). They didn't provide any process or procedure for this, and given the way my dispute has been handled, I simply do not trust I would get my money back. It is now August 25th, and we STILL have no timeline/tracking or clear information about when and how we will get these parts so that we can assemble the payset safely for our child. We are so frustrated and disappointed. At this point, we wish to seek a full, or at least partial refund for the time lost and frustration caused. Thank you in advance for your help with this.

      I made an online purchase for a backyard play-set at spimbey.com (Spimba Inc.) for $799 on March 25th 2022. They claimed I would receive my product in the first week of June. In May I emailed to confirmed. They then told me that it would be coming in June. I received nothing. On June 23rd I contacted them and they replied saying it was due to be "dispatched next week." On July 19 I wrote because there was still nothing from them and they blamed their warehouse said it would be approximately 1-2 week. Today is August 25th and I wrote them and asked them for my money back. I also just found a site with many more complaints about the same exact thing I am experiencing and I think this is a fraudulent company.

      I ordered a play set from them at the end of March and it was supposed to be delivered at the end of April. That is when the issues began.

      I have reached out to them every month since then and have been told a host of excuses including a shipping delay because of the pandemic, shipping company not being reliable, and moving warehouses.

      I have also been told each time “we will have your play set shipped in 2-3 weeks and will mark it urgent”. Well, after hearing that 6 times, I asked about canceling and they had the nerve to tell me it’s a $300 fee because the play set is “custom”. I responded that the only thing to choose is the color of the tarp on the side, and the play set hasn’t been shipped so I’m not paying a $300 fee. They have not budged and asked for another chance to fulfill the order. Again, here we are a month later and no play set with the same excuses.

      Terrible company. Do not order from this scam company.

      We ordered a play set on July 9, 2022 from Spimbey since they were offering a 4th of July sale. Their site states it would take up to 40 days for delivery. After reaching out to their email and website chat function for a delivery update I received no response. Their website states their chat is open from 8 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday. I have also reached out on Instagram with no reply from the company. After trying to reach out I looked for their phone number and google stated this company is now closed and their phone number no longer works. I also looked at reviews and comments on Instagram, there have been a lot of customers that have had the same issue with this company. I have contacted affirm since our payments went through affirm to spimbey. We have paid 610 of the 931.

      I purchased an outdoor playset from Spimba Inc on March 13, 2022. I was told that it was backordered and would ship at the beginning of May. It never shipped and upon inquiry I was told biweekly for 3 months that it would be shipping in the next 1-2 weeks. I finally said that I was tired of waiting and wanted a refund, they tried to charge me $300 to "cancel" but I argued with them saying that I wasn't canceling because I wanted to but because they were unable to provide the product I had purchased. They agreed to give me a full refund. Now I've been waiting for the refund for nearly a month and every week they promise I should have it in the next week. The email chain I'm uploading has all of these inquiries and replies from the last 6 months.

      These people are still operating with a fancy website, parenting blog reviews, heavily advertising on google and facebook and there are even podcast interviews with the founder (in the NPR, "How I Built This" style) all of which make them seem legitimate while they take people's money and never deliver the product or promise a refund but never provide it.

      My husband & I purchased a playset for our kids on February 28, 2022 totaling $1,006.00 through Spimba/Spimbey, Inc. Order #21326. As we approach the 6 month mark, we have not received a playset or our money back, despite contacting them multiple times. We purchased with our debit card & our bank only refunds within 60 days of purchase, so we have no other recourse.

      The order was supposed to arrive the first week of April 2022.
      Between March-June I was promised many times the swing set would be delivered. I tried to cancel in March 2022 but was manipulated to wait.
      When the product arrived in June it was very badly damaged. I asked for a refund but was told they would keep $300. I now learned this $300 fee did not apply to my order since I ordered prior to them changing their cancelation fee. I did not know that at the time. I asked for a replacement for the many broken parts. I was told they would send me replacement parts. When the parts continued to not arrive I was told to go out and buy them myself. I explained to the company I didn't have the skills to buy unfinished wood and cut it to be safe for a swing set. I asked for $300 so I could have a contractor cut the wood pieces I needed and was told that was too much money. It is now August and I have not received replacement parts. I contacted Spimbey again asking for a refund. I offered to send back the non-damaged parts and have received no help.

      In addition, the product does not match the description on the website. The wood and quality of the product are very different than the photos online or the description.

      I have tried many times to resolve this situation.

      I ordered a playset for my children from this company on May 2nd with a scheduled delivery date of early June. I have not received any elements of my playset and have requested a refund from the company. Throughout the waiting period I reached out to the company multiple times for updates and received varying, stalling, responses. I recently asked for a refund as I have little faith in receiving the product, reviewing a large number of online reports of a similar experience, and a general distrust at this point of the company. Now the company is stating they would consider refunding some of my money, but that they will withhold a portion due to a policy that was not communicated or was in place when I ordered. I am simply hoping to get my money back for a product I did not receive.
