Total scam. Ridiculous fees. Should be shut down for fraudulent practices. Consumer beware!

This website is nothing short of a predatory scam. Posing as a legitimate hotel booking site, it dupes unsuspecting customers into believing they’re securing a great deal. In reality, the low rates they advertise are a smokescreen for the exorbitant hidden fees they tack on after you’ve entered your payment information. By the time you notice, it’s too late—their draconian no-refund policy locks you into a transaction you never fully agreed to.

Their refusal to issue refunds under any circumstances is the hallmark of an operation built on deceit, not service. Attempts to resolve the issue with their so-called “customer service” are met with robotic, condescending responses that are clearly designed to deflect responsibility.

This company’s business model thrives on confusion, obfuscation, and outright dishonesty. Their practices aren’t just unethical—they’re bordering on fraudulent. It’s deeply concerning that they’re allowed to operate in this manner. Consumers beware: if you value transparency, fairness, and professionalism, avoid this site at all costs.

VERY frustrated with this company. Like other consumers, their website made it look like I was booking my reservation directly through Hilton. There was a lag on their site and it didn't look like my reservation was completed, so I went through the booking process a second time and ended up with two reservations. I immediately called their customer service line to have one of the reservations cancelled and was told they had no way to cancel since I paid in advance and had a non-refundable booking. I tried to talk to a "Supervisor" and was told none were available and even management can't make changes. I dropped the matter at that point. Today I called and tried to have one of my reservations moved to a different date. I wasn't asking to cancel and thought changing the date was a reasonable request. Once again I was told no change would be made. This time I was put on hold to speak with Supervisor. After waiting 3 minutes I was told they were all in a meeting and that management can't make any changes to reservations. Their call center is located somewhere (likely Phillipines) where the agents speak broken English and are clearly scripted and not helpful whatsoever. Their practices are deceptive and unprofessional.

. I booked a hotel room in Nashville and got the date wrong in the website. They would not allow me to change or rebook my trip. I noticed the error right away and called to report the date issue. After many hours and waiting on hold I got no where.

Make sure to book your hotel room through the hotels direct website. No third party websites

What a bunch of cheaters and liars. I had to cancel my reservation due to the exorbitant service fee they charged, which was more than a hotel night stay. I called right away and asked for my money back. They told me to speak to the hotel directly and if they agree, Guest Reservation (GR) would return the money to me.I did that right away . The hotel manager even spoke to them and told me that they would refund the money since they authorize it and gave them the credit back. I followed up again after week since I did not see the credit back on my credit card. This time they stated it was too late for a refund. I have called both the hotel and Guest Reservations what seems a million times. GR keep on changing their story. All I know is there is a credit due me that needs to processed which is held by a third party and they are holding it hostage. GR should be out of business for their lack business integrity and cheating people out of heir left money. GR site looks like the hotels' site so you think you're dealing with the hotel directly. Very tricky on their part. I want my money back. Not fair they get to keep the money that is legally not theirs.

This is the worst scam of a company I have dealt with - cancelled my stay less 24 hours after booking and they refuse to give me a refund of almost $500, multiples calls and emails did nothing

Did a google search of the hotel I wanted to book a room, and mistakenly booked with this third party company. I didn’t realize it was a third party until I received my confirmation email. They charged my $106 MORE than if I booked with hotel directly (which I thought I was doing based on the website name). They would not refund me. They told me I had to cancel the reservation first, THEN they could put in a request to have my money refunded, with no guarantee the request would be honored. I will NEVER book online again. These third party reservation companies are getting very sly and clever with their website address names. I will CALL the hotel directly.

I thought I was on the Holiday Inn hotel website, but it was this third party. Only after they sent me a confirmation for my reservation did I see that there was a no cancellation policy. I tried to call and cancel because they charged me $60 in fees for cleaning and parking (which are both included if you book through the hotel itself). They said no, so I had to open a dispute with my credit card company. What an ordeal. If you want to keep your sanity and a few extra bucks, NEVER use this service.

    Guest Reservations complaint
In August of 2024, I needed to reserve a room in October at a specific hotel in Denmark for a business meeting. I searched with Google to make a reservation at the Scandic Roskilde Park hotel in Denmark. I have never traveled to Denmark before and was unfamiliar with Scandic hotels. The top website on Google search results shows a web address scandicrsoskildepart.guestreservatons.com which actually directs user to a website disguised to appear to be the hotel website. Two prices are offered - one being a Family Rate - BEST VALUE with the lowest price. The second, higher price quoted states "Free Cancellation: before a date". The lower price offered for the hotel do not clearly disclose the lower rate is non-refundable.
The Guest Reservations did indeed book the reservation with the subject hotel.

The reservation for $172 a day have an addition $100 per day in taxes and service fees. The reservation service will not provide a breakdown of the taxes and service fees. My employer will reimburse taxes, but not the service fees.

When attempting to cancel the reservation, Guest Reservations would not cancel without paying the full cost of the reservation. The terms and conditions provided with the reservation did not say anything about a non-refundable reservation. The customer service was very uncooperative and disrespectful. I filed a Dispute with my credit card to recover the charges, and on the 20th day after the dispute was filed, the Guest Reservations produced a terms and conditions for a non-refundable reservation that are different than the terms and conditions I received when I made the reservation.

GuestReservations.com is deceptive in offering hotel rates, their customer service is unprofessional and rude, and their reservations terms and conditions do not represent honest and open business transactions.

I booked a room with Shilo Inn in Tillamook, Oregon; pool, restaurant, free breakfast, WiFi, cable. When I pulled up the site it took me to Guest Reservations. Unfortunately I booked it.
When we arrived there was no Shilo Inn, it was now Tillamook Inn; restaurant closed, pool closed, no breakfast, WiFi iffy and cable didn’t work. They sent Aomori our room to fix it but they could not figure it out.
We paid $112/nightX2 + fees and taxes an additional $100. We paid $362. They person who checked in before me paid $89- grrrr
I tried to get a partial refund and what a joke: sent pictures (as requested) of closed signs, etc. to Guest Reservation - denied by motel and reservation company. Next went to American Express-for appeal- denied. I didn’t even want a full refund. This is false advertising and no one will take accountability. I received responses from multiple emails. Horrible experience and a rip off. I will go directly to a hotel/motel from now on.
