    Got completely ripped off by these people, not only was I charged an extra $160 to make the "extra fee", but was unable to cancel without losing all of my payment for a room I will not be staying in. These people need to be shut down. They don't deserve the one star

    This company is a scam. They give you the lower hotel rate and then over tax and over fee until you pay way more than the regular hotel price. They don’t show all of the fees until you hit submit which at that time you find out the cost is CRAZY!!! They put up their website to look like the actual hotel so you think it’s the legitimate site. Then you think well maybe this is a savings. It isn’t. They will not refund your money so you’re stuck overpaying for your hotel!

    100% scam! I was charged $230+ dollars for an advertised $148 stay at a Hampton Inn for one night, and also mistakenly booked for a same day stay when I needed the reservation to reflect the following weekend. I called customer service and after twenty minutes, I was “disconnected.” When I called back, the CS representative informed me that she would not and could not assist me with a change, nor a cancellation. I will now always book directly. A hard lesson!

    If I could give a big fat zero I would!! My room was 67 and change for 4 nights. At the hotel they said my room rate for those days was 268.00. I had to leave on Thursday and tried to cancel in plenty of time to refund the two nights. I first of all was never told I was on a third party website!! Huge for me as I wanted to join with points... I was told my room was 268 plus taxes and recovery fee by guest reservations.... um no so I was charged over 400.00 for a 268.00 stay. DO NOT GET CONFUSED AND BOOK THROUGH THEM!!! THEY ARE HORRIBLE AND THE PHONE NUMBER IS A JOKE - NO AGENT EVER CAME ON THE LINE - FALSE ADVERTISING. They use the hotels pictures that are online so you think you are booking through them. so so awful. Please be careful. if in doubt - please call the hotel directly.

    An outrageously deceptive, very close to fraudulent, website. For me, the hotel price advertised by Guest Reservations was considerably lower than the price advertised by the hotel. However, the price actually charged by them to my credit card was 20% or more higher than the hotel price. I highly recommend that you do not use Guest Reservations.com but, be wary, they hide themselves well and it is difficult to know you are not actually dealing directly with the hotel.

    As many others have said, this website is a total scam, but the first thing to pop up when you search the hotel. I was in a rush and trying to book quickly for a same night when I had stopped for gas. Immediately called to cancel and they kept lying saying the hotel owner had refused to reverse the charge. I called and spoke with him and he said they had never called. They booked the actual hotel with a separate credit card as well. I will be disputing with Amex in the morning.

    This company is a total scam. It falsely
    advertises a disgusting hotel. When I asked for a refund explaining how the hotel smelt and the pool that had a broken heater they made me jump through hoops calling making claims for a week later they just said no. We wouldn’t give you bad any money.

    We were returning to Virginia Beach from Fort Lauderdale and decided to stop in Walterboro SC for the night. We booked a room online. When we hit the "book it" button, our credit card was immediately charged for $99 more than the quoted price. Upon reviewing room details, this company added $99 in service fees for booking the room. They did NOT tell us the fee would be added during the booking process. I contacted the company to cancel the reservation, and just like everyone else was told I could cancel but would not get a refund. This is absolutely a scam that is ripping people off and getting away with it. There needs to be a class action lawsuit against this fraudulent company. I cannot understand why they haven't been prosecuted.

    This website is a scam. They overcharged the room price. Call them to cancel it five minutes after it was done because their site with said something totally different than what it turned out to be and they said it was nonrefundable call your credit card company and dispute the charge cancel your card. Do not use this site.
