  I booked this reservation and was not made aware they have a non refundable charge when cancelling until I received an email with the cancellation. I’m really not pleased with this service as other booking sites have you check a check box and make sure that you are aware they have non refundable for cancelled or no show reservations. I would not use their service again. It is not reputable.

  This website is deceptive at best, outright fraudulent at worst. Their site appears as the first sponsored result with the web address “hotel name you searched for”. guestreservations.com. It looks and feels like you’re booking through the hotel directly. The price quoted was over $100 more expensive than booking through the actual hotel. I disputed the charge and contacted them directly. They claimed the hotel had a no refunds policy (lie) and said they couldn’t help me. As soon as I told them I had disputed with the credit card company, they put me on hold for 15 minutes and magically had a resolution from the hotel (they have an actual policy of refunding outside of a 48 hour window of the reservation). They kept me on hold for a total of 30 minutes during the call and repeatedly lied to me about the cancellation policy.
  
  If you inadvertently use this site, don’t feel stupid, they’re the ones who are wrong. Dispute it with your card company as an unauthorized charge and call the business to demand they reverse the charge. This gets the charge off your card faster than waiting for it to post and disputing it. Once it’s disputed they know they won’t get your money so they relent much more quickly.

  A scam. Be sure the check for “Tax Recovery and Service Fee”, which is hugely inflated. Do not use this company.

  1000% a scam. They charged an ADDITIONAL $304 (more than an additional night in the hotel) to my bill for miscellaneous taxes. I attempted to cancel the reservation less than 5 minutes after making it and they refused to refund the $936 they had just charged. After an hour call with Carson W. He had said I would be refunded. 1.5 weeks later I received an email saying that I now wouldn't be refunded AT ALL. I am currently on hold with the number provided in the email. It said my wait would be 2 minutes and it is at 20 minutes without having spoken to a person.

  Sat. 6/10/23 I googled Homewood Suites in Oak Creek, WI to book a room for two nights. Guest Reservations Hilton Homewood Suites appearing to be Hilton gave a rate of $148 per night. After I entered my payment information I received a confirmation that my card was charged $448.13. I called immediately after the charge to dispute the charge. I was given the FALSE statement “in fine print it states there are several taxes and miscellaneous fees equal to the amount of another night.”. There is nowhere on the website that states that. I have screen shots of what is visible when booking and again, there is nowhere on the site that shows such fees. And denied my money back.
  The confirmation after charging my card is the only place that states they charge extra fees but doesn’t state a percentage or rate. It is obviously meant to scam the consumer as you can read all the bbb reviews where each review I read has the same complaint. This is price gauging with no warning of such charges until amount is stolen from consumers. I would appreciate a full refund and hope that no one else will be deceived from this company. SCAM! Steer clear.

  Fraudulent. I thought I was buying at the hotel web site and reserved through this site. In the reservation email, I see an additional $250 for a three day stay. Cancelled reservation and booked through hotel web site for $250 less including taxes. "This charge includes the estimated amount we pay the hotel for occupancy related taxes owed by the hotel and any amounts charged to us for resort fees, cleaning fees, and other fees. The balance of the charge is a fee we, the hotel supplier and/or the website you booked on, retain as part of the compensation for our and/or their services which varies based on factors such as location, the amount, and how you booked."

  This company is a total scam and fraud. They list one price and then when you accept and finalize the reservation they charge you more. In my case the advertised hotel price was $183, but when it processed it was for $272.85. I called to dispute the charge, and they would not agree to cancel without a penalty for the full charge. I consulted with American Express and was advised to cancel the reservation. American Express said they will protect my interests.

  Scam. Typed in a certain chain to get a direct reservation. It identified it as the Hotel chain plus guest reservation.com so I thought it was the hotel chain's reservation link. It listed the hotel price and then once I tried to pay it added an additional 40 dollars. It never itemized the $40. My loss their gain but it was poor business. It also said the hotel reservation comes with a shuttle and breakfast but after reading this sham company's reviews, I doubt that is true either.

  Make their website to look like the actual hotel and then have nobody to call in to cancel reservations. An absolute scam. Avoid at all costs. This website should be shut down.
