      Highly Disappointing Experience with Bluegreen Vacations I wanted to share my incredibly disappointing experience with Bluegreen Vacations, hoping to caution others about the challenges I faced.Misleading Sales Tactics In 2022, my family and I fell for the high-pressure sales tactics at Bluegreen Vacations, buying a timeshare that promised countless vacation options and savings. However, we never found availability for bookings, rendering the freebies useless.False Promises and Unusable Package Despite assurances of readily available accommodations, we couldn't use the timeshare even once due to full bookings every time we tried. This left us disheartened and frustrated, unable to enjoy any vacations.Hidden Costs and Financial Strain The maintenance fees, supposedly fixed, turned out to be escalating, creating a financial burden that I can't sustain. The timeshare has become a drain on our finances without delivering any value.Poor **************** Efforts to address these issues with Bluegreen were met with resistance and apathy. They failed to take responsibility for the salesperson's deceit and the lack of customer care was evident when they missed our scheduled call on June 4, 2024.Seeking Resolution I am now seeking a full refund and the termination of my contract with Bluegreen Vacations. Given the deceptive sales tactics and financial strain caused by their false promises, a refund is a fair resolution.Final Thoughts To anyone considering a timeshare with Bluegreen Vacations, be cautious. My encounter revealed deceptive sales tactics, unfulfilled promises, and poor customer service. Avoid ********************** to safeguard your money and peace of mind. Steer clear of their timeshares!

      I bought a vacation package inside of a Bass Pro Shops because that told me I would be able to get a refund for a whole year if I wouldnt be able to use it. Then when I tried to get a refund Blue Green said they only give refunds for a the first month and not the whole year.

      I was sold a Package over the Phone, when I called to Book a Room me and my Wife frequently stay at. I Purchased the Package for $200 or $300 and was told me and my wife needed to go listen to a presentation for 90 Mins to qualify for our Package. Also would be responsible for the Taxes Due at Check In $50. Me and my Family drove 5 Hrs to check in to a Hotel with No Air Conditioning (95+ Outside). Called Bluegreen and was Changed Locations. Checked in Again was Charged an additional $160 in taxes. Next ********* knocked on our Door said our room was not paid for. Had to get in the phone address the issue, two days later Hotel came to kick us out again, had to call Bluegreen again address the issue. Spent more on the Package than I would have by just booking it myself. Super glad I did not move forward with purchasing one of their packages after my experience.

      I have been an owner with Bluegreen Vacations since the summer of 2019. Throughout my five years of ownership, I have suffered through broken promises, increased fees, high pressure meetings, and a frequent lack of availability. When I arrived at the meeting in 2019, I had no idea that I would be forced to endure four-and-a-half hours of pressure. Finally, I gave in and agreed to buy at the initial level for a price substantially less than what I was told it would cost at the beginning of the presentation, giving the illusion that I had gotten a great deal. Once I indicated my decision to move forward, I was taken to a different room to review the paperwork. This process was rushed compared to the drawn-out sales presentation, which I believe was intentional. In fact, whenever I stopped to clarify something or ask questions, I was encouraged to just listen to whatever haphazard spiel they were giving and sign where they pointed. For nearly three years I struggled to find availability to the destinations I was interested in. Eventually I agreed to attend a Bluegreen update, where I was told I would receive all the information I needed to learn how to find the availability I wanted. After several hours of high-pressure sales tactics, I agreed to Silver Membership and purchased more points which did not help me at all in getting more access. After my second upgrade, I tried repeatedly to find accommodations for a week in *****, several ******* locations, ******, and *************. There was never availability despite my upgraded contract. This was the final straw for me, and it illustrated to me that I had been scammed by Bluegreen. My maintenance fees have more than tripled since 2019 and the availability of a weeks worth of accommodation has never been made available to me. Everything about Bluegreen has been extremely problematic. If you are reading this in consideration of purchasing with Bluegreen, Beware!

      We were at the ************************************** in May 2024. We had our yearly review and I was told that I needed to get the new credit card that they have. I have one already but this one was new and earned more rewards. I did end up applying for it did end up receiving it to only find out that there is no new credit card is the same one that I already had, I also asked again about my emotional support dog and was told that I could bring him which is absolutely untrue when I talk to Bluegreen last week and they told me no the dog has to be a service animal. Im sick and tired of the lies that these people tell. I was again pushed to buy more points. I told them that I was not buying points at this time as I was getting ready to retire. I was told that if I couldnt afford to buy more points than I shouldnt be retiring because I obviously couldnt afford that either very unprofessional.

      Highly disappointed with Bluegreen vacations. We were approached last year by a salesman at bass proshop trying to get us a free vacation. We were told if we paid $200 we would get 3 night stay at select locations of theirs. Fast forward to booking our trip we decided to stay in ******* and make it a staycation. We get a confirmation call to tell us where were staying and it's at a comfort inn and offered us a upgrade to their resort for $600 more. This company is misleading people. If you're trying to sell a timeshare, wouldn't you want to put them in your resort and not a 3-star crappy hotel. This was supposed to be a nice family vacation with our three children. Needless to say THANK GOD we did not travel out of state because I would've been even more upset to travel thousands of miles to stay in a comfort inn. Lets not forget to mention when you call customer service they are short and rude and do not care to solve the issue and make you happy! DO NOT BUY A TIMESHARE WITH THEM OR FALL INTO THEIR ATTEMPT TO SELL YOU A VACTION !

      We had terrible experiences with Bluegreen Vacations. Their customer service is beyond terrible in every department except for the salespeople; which is probably intentional so they can get more customers. My wife and I sent them letters requesting the cancellation of our timeshare back in April because we felt that we were promised things that simply turned out to be lies, and we were robbed of our hard earned money.One of their customer service representatives called us in response to our letter, but we missed the call and scheduled appointments to talk to them (5/7/2024, 5/14/2024 and 5/21/2024). However, they failed to return our calls on all three scheduled occasions.Shortly after we got an email from customer service representative ***************************** saying she closed our case because WE didn't respond to her. SHE MISSED 3 SCHEDULED CALLS WITH US. She blamed us and closed any further action. It is frustrating that Bluegreen cannot honor their appointments or even show a shread of courtesy to their clients.We feel defrauded and have lost thousands of dollars in the process. We would never recommend Bluegreen Vacations to anyone we know, and urge others to avoid them as well. In fact, if we hear anyone mention their name in the future, we will tell them to run as far away in the opposite direction as possible. The most appalling thing is that their customer service is so bad that it makes us think that the entire company is a scam. We are very upset and disappointed with Bluegreen Vacations

      Don't buy it. I did not buy the package. The presentation wasn't too bad for me. I told them pressure would annoy me and cause me to definitely say no, so they were chill with me. It was definitely misleading and doesn't really seem like a good deal. You pay a ton of money up front basically just to have discounted vacations in the future, but it seems there is always a catch.2 stars because of the perks they offered me. I got 3 nights at a decent hotel for less than 50% of what it would have cost and also ****** hotel points for future stays. Sorry bluegreen this customer cost you money ??

      I was called last August by BlueGreen Vacations to receive a resort vacation in a Shenandoah resort for $199 but would have to pay the taxes. We would have to sit through a 2 hour timeshare presentation but would receive $100 Mastercard gift card and ****** choice rewards points. We received the address to where we were going a few days before the so called vacation and it said Best Western with an address. It never dawned on me that this is the ****************** which had no resort qualities whatsoever. They were remodeling the hotel so the first floor was closed. The elevator was broken so the lowest floor with openings was the 3rd floor so we had to carry everything up the steps. There was nothing to even do in the area. We arrived on ***** June 20. The required time share meeting was supposed to be Friday but the time was tbd. Thursday night no one had called me and if you do not attend the meeting they would charge you $979 for the hotel. So I called them. The had me on hold to check. Came back and said they tried to call me but I had them blocked. That is a lie. I added them to my contact list. They called me at least ************************************************** to extend my vacation and ask personal questions to make sure you are still qualified. So they said our meeting was now scheduled for Saturday at 12:00 noon and is 2 hours (Lunch time) When we got there they asked if we wanted drinks or snacks that were for sale. NOPE When in the meeting the salesman asked where we were staying. Everyone else was staying at the Lodge which was the resort. To us they said sorry but we were probably full. Full? So shouldnt you have told me this ? Then you ride around in a golf cart when it is 101 degrees outside to show you the cabins and things you can pay to rent at the resort. Never in a million years would I sign up for anything from BlueGreen vacations and will make sure everyone I know does not either. They are not to be trusted.
