  We went to ******* for a 4-day, 3-night vacation in exchange for attending a 90-minute presentation with Bluegreen. It turned into a 6 hour lockdown of our time. Every time we showed signs of concern to say 'NO" they introduced another individual The salesman went over all the benefits of owning a timeshare. The benefits didn't met the expectations of what the salesman was saying. They had to tell lies to get us to buy a timeshare. We were told our maintenance fees would not go up, but they did after the first year and every year after. We then had to go to a 2nd so-called orientation meeting, yes, a sales meeting to get us to upgrade our points. We told him NO several times. On this visit, we were placed at a hotel off the beaten path from the resort and had to pay for it. We had to go up 3 flights of stairs. When we finally used our points on a stay they wanted to charge us to put up Christmas decorations. The heater was not working correctly, and the view was awful. The wind was whistling through the master bedroom exterior door. At check-in they offered tickets to a dinner show. It was only intended to be another sales meeting. I am paying more maintenance fees for an 800 - 900 SF timeshare than I pay for my **** SF house. A representative of Bluegreen keeps telling me, as the owner, "that the problem was mine, I signed a contract". I do not want to use the timeshare's sales ***** to try to sell my timeshare, knowing that it was not a sure way out of the contract. Also, I have found that the Bass Pro Shop won a lawsuit against BG based on the sales tactics they used against us. Almost every other month, Bluegreen or their 3rd party calls us to see if we want to sell part of our timeshare time and pay them. We have told them numerous times that we want the timeshare canceled, and then they can do what they want. We want the timeshare closed, the loan canceled, and a refund of the money paid to them. Once that is done, Bluegreen can do what they want with it.

  I purchased the 3 night stay in St.Petersburg through Bass Pro, having never heard of Bluegreen Vacations before. When speaking to the representative that sold me the deal, it was advertised as a stay in an actual Bluegreen resort. We were placed at the Comfort Inn St. Petersburg. We were arriving very late due to our flight times and had called the hotel the day before to inform them of our arrival time. Once we arrived at about 1:30 AM the doors to the hotel were locked and it took about 20 minutes of calling and ringing the bell to be let in. Once we got to our room, we were immediately in disbelief by the state of the room. There was a dead bug in the bathroom, a used cocktail straw on the floor, a fake fingernail by the fridge, and a potato chip in our sheets, clearly indicating that nothing had been cleaned or washed prior to arriving. The room itself was falling apart. The closet doors didn’t align on the hinges and had to be forced closed. The bathroom door was cracked and peeling and the molding around the ceiling was discolored and chipped. Due to the hour of the night, we felt stuck and had no choice but to sleep there. There is no maid service on site at that hour to clean. The next day, we called Bluegreen and asked to be moved to a different location and were told that wasn’t a possibility. The representative offered to call the front desk on our behalf to request cleaning services but this would not have fixed the state of disrepair the room was in. We decided to leave immediately and booked a room at the Marriott out of pocket. We still had to attend the presentation to avoid getting charged extra, although after looking up the nightly rate for the Comfort Inn, we basically paid full price with the $179 I paid at Bass Pro, so it felt dishonest of Bluegreen to say we would have to pay “full” price for the hotel if we didn’t go to the preview. The preview was said to be approximately an hour or two. We were there for 3.

  We have been owners for over 18 years. Our ownership has become more valuable to us every year. We have traveled more than we ever would have otherwise. Ask any of our children what their favorite memory is and I can almost guarantee that it took place when we were staying at a Bluegreen property somewhere. Great bang for the buck! We love our timeshare!

  Customer Review ID #****** Shenandoah Crossing is one of our favorite BlueGreen resorts. There are so many amenities such as swimming (two pools), fishing, hiking, horseback riding, putt-putt, tennis, playground, and carriage rides.

  We have been Bluegreen owners for 20 years. We have had many wonderful vacations with Bluegreen. We’ve stayed in beautiful places we never would have been able to stay if we hadn’t become members. The latest was Daytona Seabreeze starring 9/4. It’s right on the beautiful beach, rooms were recently renovated . We upgraded again this week as we love the product. Bluegreen is an investment in memories and trips. It is not a investment to make money. As one grows older it’s the memories and experiences in life that are important. We are excited to plan and experience more trips through Bluegreen!

  We have been owners for 19 yrs. Have had many vacations that we wouldn't have been able to have without Bluegreen. We had 2 great vacations this year and already have one schedule for July 2023! Can't wait! We have decided to try different resorts each year which we started doing just a few years ago since we now have no young kids to bring with. Our goal to is try them all at least once.

  If I could leave a negative star review I would. Long story short this f****** company is a ******* disgrace full of a bunch of f****** liars. They should be charged with theft by deceit and shut down. All the resorts that I have stayed in aren't worth the almost $18,000 that we have spent on it so far. This company is a joke and I wish I could meet the owner because I wouldn't mind going back to jail again. F*** you Bluegreen.

  BlueGreen Timeshare Sales Scam!!!I was completely bamboozled by timeshare sales people into buying what I could not afford. They targeted me more than once because they knew I was a single female. I'm sad and upset that I have allowed myself to be fooled and can't even take a vacation, to see the world, due to the cost. I am already spending on a timeshare that I CAN'T EVEN USE! This timeshare is a financial struggle, due to the fact that maintenance fees are going up every year. My 2007 ***** has ******* miles on it and I have NO CLUE how on earth I am going to afford a new car once this one is done for good. I WANT to travel and see the world but they totally took advantage. My stipulation on buying the timeshare was if I decided I was no longer wanting to pay for or use the timeshare, I would be able to call them and cancel. Multiple people told me that was the case and all I would have to do is call their specific timeshare ***** number and they would be able to assist me in this. When I decided to bow out and called, there was no getting out, they informed me that I was not able to cancel with them at all stating "That's not something we do here". My big issue with purchasing more "points" was the maintenance fees, which they assured me over and over again that this would NOT CHANGE. Little did I know this was yet another lie and they ended up doubling my maintenance fees and fees have been going up every year! AVOID BlueGreen Timeshares!!!!!

  Do not do business with these people if you know what's good for you. We have called numerous times, sent 2 letters, and are getting ready to contact the Florida Attorney General. This is PROBABLY a ****. Run away.
