  Not even a 1 star. Very much a see a single mom with a kid and think she is stupid type situation. Very much the opposite. Work very high up in my company and do very well for myself and my son. They showed me a contract for $47000 with an 18% rate yet never explained the logistics. Absolute insanity. They never once explained anything then got upset when I said I was uncomfortable. So then proceeded to bring in their next guy then next guy. I said we are walking out right now. Do not mess with a single mom with a paid off house and a lot of money in her bank account. HORRIBLE and never again! Lesson learned.

  I am extremely frustrated with Bluegreen and the way they have handled my timeshare cancellation request. I have been trying to get in touch with them for quite some time now, but every time I call, I am given the runaround. It is beyond unacceptable that they are not willing to help me with this mess that they have put me through. But now, to add insult to injury, I have received a call from someone who I assume is from their sales team trying to offer me a 5-day vacation. It is completely outrageous that they can find the time to call me with these offers, but they can't even be bothered to help me cancel my timeshare. I have come to the conclusion that this entire situation is nothing but a scam designed to milk more money out of unsuspecting individuals like myself. It is time for Bluegreen to take responsibility for their actions and help me get out of this mess that they created. Until they do, I will continue to urge others to stay away from this company and their unethical practices.

  I am writing this to warn anyone thinking of buying Bluegreen Timeshare to run!!!!!!! When we had our first meeting with Bluegreen vacations the information provided to us made it sound so easy and that there would always be someone to help us through any issues. When we first tried to book our first trip, nothing was available for what we wanted is what we were told, and we would have to be on a wait list. We did book several trips to most of the Bluegreen resorts and when we arrived, we were appalled. The resorts were so bad that we had to find another place to stay and pay out of pocket. They were old and run down and some cases under construction or just plain filthy. We did use our points with RCI and again the resorts were sub-par and we had to wait over a year to even book a trip at times. We were told that if at any time we were unhappy we could always sell our points with Pinnacle. We decided to do that and then was told that it would never sell, and we would have to pay Bluegreen a bunch of money just to give the points back. We spent over 20K for the points and then ended up paying out of pocket at times to find a new hotel once we arrived at the resorts. This company is a scam!!! We never received help when we tried to call once we arrived at the resorts and was just put on hold for hours. This was one of the biggest financial mistakes we have ever made and want to help others not to believe anything they tell you. It's all a bunch of bullxxxx. The company should have at least paid 5 cents a share back and not charge us another 2500$ to basically give back what we just paid for. In conclusion, the book you receive with all the beautiful pictures of the resorts are misleading and just flat out lies on the quality of the resorts. Trying to use the points in other ways is almost impossible as well and customer service is the worst I have ever experienced.

  My husband bought this for me for my birthday, when we went to go book, and it was frozen, so he called and they told him his credit score was not good enough to book the trip! He already pain for it! I say we *** this place for robbing so many people!

  My family and I have been on the receiving end of conflicting misinformation for far too long. We were lied to about nearly all the benefits associated with this purchase (investment potential, not having to sit through more meetings, the ability to trade for better vacations, etc.), while crucial information that wouldve swayed our decision-making was intentionally withheld from us. They tell you its a 90 minute presentation but you cant leave after 90 minutes. They pressure you and make all these statements about how this will benefit you. Once you have purchased and left. Then a couple months go by and you try to use those benefits, everyone acts as if you don't know what you are talking about. Given the misinformation and pressure weve been subjected to, we believe its fair to have our contract rescinded as soon as possible.To sum things up, we were told that we were investing in property and that our investment could be used as an additional form of income. Every time we attempted to rent our unit, we had no luck. When we tried to raise our concerns, we found ourselves trapped in a meeting with Bluegreens slick sales team who pressured us for hours until we agreed to spend more money on this worthless product.We have written to the President of the company, so well see what happens. In the meantime, dont do what we did and buy a TIMESHARE from Bluegreen!

  We are writing to express our extreme dissatisfaction with Bluegreen Vacations and their handling of our request to exit our timeshare. We have been increasingly frustrated with the lack of transparency and fairness in their processes. Most recently, the mortgage department informed us that the fee to be released from our timeshare is a staggering $11,800, due to the fact we have two open loans. This is an exorbitant amount of money considering the fact that this timeshare purchase has been nothing but a complete scam. We have only used this ownership total of 3 times and have already invested so much into it. It is outrageous that Bluegreen Vacations would expect people to drop such a large sum of money on something they are already struggling to pay forth, and we could easily go to the places we want to go and use much cheaper hotels instead of Bluegreen resorts. It is clear that Bluegreen Vacations does not care about the experiences that their customers face and are only interested in lining their own pockets. We strongly believe that the amount of money that Bluegreen Vacations is asking us to pay in order to be released from this timeshare is completely unfair and unjust. We demand and deserve a complete release from our timeshare agreement without additional costs.

  We are writing this review because Bluegreen Vacations has not only taken advantage of us, but the service they provide and some of the salespeople that we have dealt with have treated us horribly. Every time we attended one of their mandatory owners meetings, they always kept us their way longer than promised, not even caring about us having to get back with our kids. Each meeting we attended we had to endure high pressure sales and even after declining their offers, they would continue to pour on the pressure until we agreed to sign a new contract. After attending many of these owners meetings, we finally were able to stick to our guns and not agree to any upgrades or buy more points, but thats when we had to deal with the rude and angry salesman who even had the nerve to RUDELY ask us to leave. That salesman even went as far as adding to our file that WE were extremely rude, hostile, and uncooperative because we didnt agree to purchase what they were selling. They did manage to get us one more time when they sold us on the idea of buying ****** points that led us to believe that we would be able to go to the Daytona 500 every year. Of course, this never came to fruition. I wish that we never entered this relationship with Bluegreen vacations. They sold us lies and misrepresentations. I dont know how they continue to get away with the sales tactics that they use on hard working people like us. If you read all the other reviews, you will see that we all have similar stories of being lied to, broken promises, and in the end we all felt scammed. Hopefully this review will save others from making the same mistakes that we did.

  If I could leave a zero star review, I would!!! I want to let you know the terrible, horrible experience we are having today and this week. Picture this-two childhood best friends in their 40s. We have really packed lives with children and jobs and step kids and grand kids and volunteering and giving and everything else that we deal with in life-we try to get together every year for an escape. Last year, she and her husband went to one of your resorts said it was absolutely the best thing experience. Would I be interested in taking a trip this year to one of the resorts in *******? I say Lets go. Lets do it. We havent done this in forever. We never get a break. We both work hard. We both have four kids. We both have husbands. We both have parents that are aging. Lets do this. *******. After our *************************************************** our condo. Locked out from the inside. We sit. 2 hours later, sitting on luggage in the hallway. We were told no rooms were available for us. Then, we were assigned to a room, @$&#. We go in. And the deadbolt falls off. We moved furniture in front of the door bc there was no lock. I slept with pepper spray. I actually didnt sleep until I got to the beach the next day. Which, there were no cabanas available so according to ***** in the cabana shack, so we sit in the sand. This is just unbelievable. I want to shout to all the potential clients lemme tell you what is really happening! We did get some (2) drink/dinner vouchers from ****** but this is actually the absolute worst place I have ever stayed. Im sad for my friend. She was proud to show off this timeshare, she was trying to sell me one. Guess what? That aint happening but you can email me. You can call me. You can try to make it right we aint buying a timeshare but you can still try to fix this because this is ridiculous.

  Purchased a timeshare with this company in *********. After coming home and within the 5 days after purchase - per law- I submitted a notice of cancellation for the timeshare purchase. I reviewed the contract agreement and submitted a letter and form by certified mail to the address I was provided. I checked the tracking information regarding the mailing package and it says its not deliverable and must be picked up by me or authorized agent. I am in ********** and they are located in *******. I reviewed the docs for accuracy and the address provided by BGV and its not valid or able to receive certified mail. This company is a scam .

  Poor customer service. I am a ********************** Owner. I logged into site to book a vacation successfully about 6 days ago. And now no access at all. I have tried for 3 days with no luck. Won't let me reset password. I have deleted browser history. Allowed 3rd party cookies and tried 3 different devices.
