Zero stars and blatant liars. Threatening to press charges after refusing to pick up merchandise and us following contract to drop off. Ripped off my husband for thousands of dollars and lied multiple and called outside of calling hours and lied saying they would put it stolen when it was set to pick up for over a year. I will be following up with the states attorney myself and small claims and with every available recourse to report the fraudulent claims for debt collection after consistently refusing to pick up and taking advantage of a person who doesn't understand how these collections work. The temple ***** location is HORRIBLE! We made three purchases from them. Months after the install of washer and dryer we kept having a ***** infestation couldnt figure out why and why nothing was working! We had a rack around the washer and dryer. Once pulled the washer and dryer out we found the washer was leaking into the wall! It cause the floor to warp and a hole to under the house letting all bugs in and black mold! My husband is a 4 time vet and doesnt handle confrontation well, so I called the store and let them know what happened. Due to the mold and infestation we lost most of our stuff while trying to find somewhere new to live with 6 kids! The mounds of stuff we lost sitting in the yard for everyone to see so I know they seen this too. I contacted the store where they showed zero compassion. We were paying their insurance for it but she stayed it didnt cover this, not their mens fault they didnt hook they washer up right, I wanted to return the items where she told me they dont accept them back and even directed me to their website where it states they wont take returns back after 30 days plus because of the black mold and ***** infestation. Then they continue hounding us for a payment knowing we lost almost everything! They just expect us to foot it all!Now they are calling references and calling my husband a thief and saying they are going to take legal action! You cant even make up how badly they have treated us and this situation we are harassed daily, as is anyone number who was listed as a reference!Buddy's Home Furnishings

I'm not a customer, I've never been a customer. I keep trying to get away from their constant ads, but they're having their employees post in group messages for free advertising purposes just to bother people who are actively trying to not be bothered by buddy's. I can't block this person as I'm not allowed to because I have to dispatch to her. She is using this to her advantage to harass me about buddy's and their scam deals.Buddy's Home Furnishings

They are con artist. And have been robbing me for the last 6 months. I got a gemini speaker that ONlY had 6 months of payment. It is June now. They payment s should of ended in December. In October I was told I had 2 payments left. But then when December came around d they tried saying I still owed another 200. They said if I didn't continue with my payments they would press criminal charges on me. I am a disabled single full time mom and dad with no help and they new this.. sp I continued with the payments. I know they have benefits straight out robbing me and they kept threatening me with charges and Last month I called again and said when are you going to stop robbing me.. they guy I talked to said this wad my last payment. I had said I wanted a copy of the rental agreements ad everything mailed to me that I cannot get down their. The said they would and of course they never did. Then THIS month. I get a text message saying I still owed 60 something dollars I text bsck saying that's a damn lie. My last payment was last month. And then they tried to run my card for 17 and change luckily I had empties that account already and the next day I thankfully had a friend with me to hear it all. I called then and said why are you trying to rob me more money I made my payment last month. N the guy was all cocky say well who do should talk to I said I didn't remember and he was being all cocky and condescending because I didn't remember whom I talked to a month prior. Again not remembering stuff like that is part of my disability.. then he tried saying I still owed 30 something $ when the text said 60 n yet they where only trying to take 17 something out. Still being all condescending he hung up saying he would TRY to find who I talked with last month and I have proof on my call and how long I talked with their employee. People need to know they are acamningpeoole badly. Watch out do NOT rent from them!!!Buddy's Home Furnishings

Every time I deal with Buddy's in Jasper *** ***** is a problem. The fridge broke so the sent me one out that is smaller, dents and in over all bad shape. I would have never accepted it but I needed something to keep my food cold. Then they over charged me and every time they promise to call you back I would have to call day after day asking for the manager just to find out they wouldn't refund and I would have to wait until my next bill for them to discount 2 weeks later. I finally replaced the fridge and called for them to pick it up. They promised a pick up time before noon so I called the store 20 minutes afternoon and **** informed me that the driver was at lunch and he had not even left to come to my house. **** was very friendly when we were purchasing but not when you need customer service. I worked for Beebee a Buddys Franchise in ****** ************** for the last 6 weeks and boy was taking this job a mistake, I was hired as a General Manager and the interview process seemed great and everything seemed nice until after I started. After starting with the company I noticed alot within the first 2 weeks for starters although they asked me specific questions such as "Are you okay with do collections calls at peoples houses or picking up merchandise to be returned" or " Are you okay with going up and down stairs carrying up to 300 lbs" they did not disclose what they needed to. I was told I would have a driver in my store and when I got there I didnt have one, I had one employee who was lazy and useless and the store was an absolute disaster! Inventory had not been done in God knows how long, I had no idea what I actually had, store was only partially tagged so I had no idea what half the merchandise was. There was no formal training structure in place and I was just thrown to the wolves. I was told during the interview process that a normal GM schedule was 9-7 Mon-Fri and that if I did work a Saturday hours where from 10-6. Never once was I told I would have to work every single saturday, never once was I told I would have to be in at 730am ever saturday to do early morning field visits, never once was I told I would have to stay out till 9 at night or later doing field visits, never once was I told I would have to at times do deliveries by myself of extremeley heavy furniture up stairs and risk injury to myself nor was I told that if something happened to the items it would come out of my pay. I was also not told that a neighboring store was missing over 9k worth of inventory that over the past year prior to me was transferred to my store along with over 4k of missing inventory at my store could result in me having pending charges and being used as a scape goat for their inability to run their regions properly. Personally in my experience with Buddy's Home Furnishings, if you had asked me what I thought of the company and it's staff. If you had asked how many stars I would rate the company and it's staff. Well I would have given the response of great praises. The thing about life, is sometimes it can be challenging. Sometimes our foundation of stability can get disturbed. The company I soon would learn, is they hire individuals who entirely unprofessional. These individuals do not belong in a customer service work field. They are uncaring, they bring their street life into their work life. In a sense, they do not bring any respectful or professional qualities to which the company can grow and excel. The staff over in the beeville Texas location need to be monitored and evaluated. They cross the lines of professionalism and jump right into harassment, bullying, antagonizing, threatening and even go as far as to have those in their personal come to your home stalking threatening and harassing you. But in all this, as if it were not enough. They have the audacity to cry wolf. They have the audacity to play victim when you react to their actions. I have personally put together a collection of evidence supporting my claims. The staff in beeville Texas know no bounds, no limits, no work ethics. I sent my claims to local authorities and all for not. Because the same individual I am speaking of, is still employed for the company. She still walks into the store with all her ghetto, unprofessional manner. And she still is allowed to terrorize with idle and vulgar threats of physical harm. And sharing the customers personal information so that members of her family can go to your home taking pictures and sending you threatening statements. So now if you asked me, I would not even place this company in a ranking. Not while we have other companies that Excel in every aspect of professionalism. On 3/27/24 my husband Stacy ******* came in to store 311 on Towson in search of an iPhone 13 pro max (brand new, unlocked,never used). Crystal assisted Stacy in setting up the contract. When Stacy came home to set the phone up he quickly realized the phone was not brand new and had infact been used this realization became clear when he wasn't able to set the phone up due to it being "carrier locked" meaning the phone had been previously purchased and assigned to a carrier. Stacy contacted store 311 and spike with Crystal and Skylar they had Stacy come back in and trade/switch out the iPhone 13 max pro to a Samsung galaxy note 20 brand new unlocked. Stacy came home and tried to set up the Samsung only to find out that the phone was "FRP Locked (Google Locked" a security feature that doesn't allow you to remove the previous Google account. Stacy again contacted store 311 spoke with Crystal and Skylar again they then advised Stacy to come in to the store when he arrived they tried setting up another Samsung Note20 and this phone also had an FRP Lock. That is 3 phones. They then on March 30th they attempted another Samsung Note20 used and not unlocked. I'm not sure why they tried a Locked at&t phone when we have metro by tmobile. So ofcourse that didn't work. After this they decided to call around to the surrounding stores and found a brand new unlocked Samsung note20 ultra at the Springdale location. Mind you this took until 04/05/24 to get to store 311. Stacy went to store 311 this morning on 04/06/24 but the brand new phone was actually damaged where the stylist is kept on the phone. It wouldn't hold and lock in the stylist. From service agreement 1 back in March I paid $115.00 for a smartphone device that I still do not have. I want a refund. Tried to contact Jason spoke to Skylar 4 times today waiting on manager Jason to call us, he never did. Skylar advised manager Jason says he can only place my 115.00 down payment on a different lease account. Not acceptableBuddy's Home Furnishings

I originally left a bad review of my experience here after the store manager claimed they couldn't reach me when they received the couch I ordered and gave it away to someone else. I deleted the review when **** tried to make things right. However, once again, they have exhibited EXTREME lack of professionalism and follow through. I paid a deposit on the order and was promised I wouldn't have to pay anything until my couch was delivered. They called and said it would be in by March 15. Well, I call today and I'm told my order was canceled because I didn't make an additional deposit. That's funny because I was told I didn't need to pay anything else, and they also never called to tell me I actually did need to make another deposit or they would cancel my order. I have been waiting on this couch for over a MONTH. Do not EVER go here and give these people a dime. They are rude, unprofessional, careless, and exhibit zero remorse for how they treat paying customers. This place needs to be investigated for money laundering and shut down.Buddy's Home Furnishings
