1 starMy name is ***********************, I have been a patient of this company for more than two years. I have not been able to use the service for almost a year. The machine they gave me at the beginning began one day to indicate an error. I called the company to report it and the people who answered were They were racist and hung up when I asked for someone in Spanish. Only once did they use an interpreter and the treatment was discriminatory and not empathetic. After more than three months, they sent me a new machine and I had to go get the strips from the El ***** office in *****. In this office they don't return the call either and apparently they don't send the messages. I have had the new machine for more than 5 months without the strips. I try in the application to go in and ask for them to be sent to me and it says it doesn't recognize me. I am an L-VAD patient. who does not understand I have a mechanical heart I suffer from dizziness and I cannot drive these months I have had to go TO LABCORP to do laboratories for which I have to bother my sisters to take me this company is a terrible service for which I do not speak English Aside from that, the service is terrible, the staff is not empathetic, if the person does not speak English, they should provide an interpreter instead, they will let you. on the line without attention Thank youReview fromFrizzell H.

1 starLincare in ********* *****. I was told on phone that I could waive to have supplies auto shipped. When I arrived at office black lady said that was not possible and I would receive a phone call about supplies. I told her that someone in her office had told me that I had the right to sign a waiver. She looks on her tablet and miraculously finds the waiver. She then fakes a panic attack and starts crying after I told her the she was being deceitful. Then she tells me that I could do business elsewhere. This office has terrible customer service and the manager backed up the black lady on her deceitful practices!! Avoid this business! Would issue 0 stars if I had that option!!Review fromDebbie L

1 starPreferred ********* / Lincare - deserves ZERO stars. They don't even deserve 1 star, should have a ZERO star option.They have the worst customer service, no one can give you an answer and no one seems to care. This is a HOME HEALTH CARE business to HELP people with needs who are released from a hospital/rehab ....but they don't seem to give a **** about these people who need the help. Guess they are just in it for the money. It's sad and disappointing of the lack of care that this business provides to the community. It took me approx. ***** phone calls in a 12 hour period to finally get some sort of a response, and that was only because a considerate driver called and actually left a message I called him back to find out where he was, only to be told it would be another 2 hours (after waiting at home ALL DAY), I responded that was unacceptable and we needed him to come now, to please call his supervisor. The driver called me back and was on his was (still took another 30 min) and I was finally about to set up the equipment at home and pick up my mother from hospital rehab and bring her home.I still could never reach anyone at the *** office, only when I called the 800 number was I told the company was going through a merge and all calls were sent to them. RIDICULOUS!!!!! Worst customer service, care, etc THERE HAS TO BE ANOTHER WAY!!! This is people's HEALTH and well being we are talking about and THIS "So called" health care business does NOT give a hoot about the people they are supposed to be helping and serving!!!!! If possible find another resource but do your research as others I've heard have issues too. And after reading other reviews I see many that still have NOT received the ***************, supplies that are needed currently! We still need items and are NOT looking forward to having to deal with this business anymore than we have to. DO NOT USE PREFERRED HOME CARE/LINCARE. 1 starWorst company ever!! In my two-year experience with them, they do not fulfill their orders, yet bill your insurance company for them. They do not service their equipment. You can never get a hold of anybody without being on hold for an hour or more. Then when you do get a hold of someone you’re treated like ****. Then they bill you for six months of service when you’ve been waiting for a letter saying how much they were supposed to bill you in the first place because your insurance ran out. And then all they want is their equipment back or their money or they’re sending you to collections. How does a business get away with that? You don’t bill me for actually eight months and then expect me to pay the entire amount upon receipt , or you’re turning me over to collections. If I’d known how much they’re overcharging, I would’ve given them their equipment back when my insurance ran out. And for all of you out there that need oxygen you can buy your own oxygen compressor just like the ones they bring to your house for around $500 and that’s what they charge you for six months of rent . They charge your insurance company $599 a month. Re-ridiculous. Fair warning do not use this company. If you have any other choice, take it.Review fromKathleen D

1 starI am beyond angry with this company. I receive my breathing medication from them and have had the same fiasco for the past 7 years. I was informed by a Lincare employee that my Dr needed to send in a new prescription. I had called them and received this information. They did not reach out to me initially. I contacted my Dr and she received a fax from them, signed it and sent it back at the end of February 2024. I continued to follow up with Lincare almost daily for nearly two weeks and was told over and over that the fax had not been received. I again sent messages and phoned my doctor. I am down to three days of medication, and it takes that long to arrive via shipment from Florida to Texas. As of this morning, a LinCare employee told me that my Dr. had signed a blank document, and no one from Lincare bothered to call the doctor to let them know! They just dropped the ball. I called doctor again and she informed me that Lincare was faxing her a prescription for a nebulizer and not the medication. No one at Licare bothered to look at what they were faxing. She called them at which time, they sent the correct document, and she followed up to make sure they had received it. This is beyond lack of patient care. I don't know what the problem is with the employees, but they truly don't care. I am looking into other companies as Lincare has failed me every year for 7 years. 1 starWe have MDINR thru Lincare. They have been sending me bills I have been paying them. When I needed something I called and they said my account was canceled months ago. Then why keep billing me? I have a refund coming for 109.90 I called again in January they told me I would get a check in the mail 4 ,to 7 weeks that was in January here it is March. I called again today and twice I got disconnected. I would not recommend this company for anything. How do I get my money back?Review fromSusan D

1 starOne spends forever on the phone waiting for “customer service” then they provide a vague time/date for delivery and tell you that driver will call. The call, if any, occurs in front of your home. This keeps one pinned to the residence all day and possibly more than one day. Last delivery, the delivery person told me that she was carrying tanks to second floor “as a favor.” With service like this, who needs to pay or have Medicare wast money on them ?Review fromRuth M

1 starStay away from this company! After I was hospitalized, Lincare delivered a nebulizer to my home. The driver handed me a clear plastic bag with a nebulizer compressor and another package with tubing and a pipe. He had me sign was he said was a delivery slip. The unit came without any paperwork or instructions, and they never mentioned it was a rental. (This model costs $49 on Amazon) Two days later I get a call from Lincare wanting my checking account number because I owed $2.54 that the driver neglected to collect from me. I said no, but I did give them a virtual credit card number with a charge maximum of $3. That charge has not been posted to my credit card in the past 7 months. I am getting bills monthly showing $50 charged to my insurance for the rental, and an overdue amount of $2.75. The past two months I received phone calls trying to collect the $2.75, again insisting on my checking account number (to help defray their credit card charges). I refused. I contacted my insurance company and the investigator didn't find any claims submitted by that company. When the insurance investigator called Lincare about the charges and lack of insurance claims, she was told they didn't have my insurance information to submit claims. It clearly states on their invoice, my insurance information! My insurance company advised that I not pay any invoices from this company until their investigation is completed. Whenever I did try to call Lincare to clear up this matter I only get an answering machine or I'm told to call back at another time because their representative is out of the office (this is during regular business hours). At least the ********* ** office has absolutely no clue how to run a business, or common sense. This completely smells like a scam.Review fromJoseph W

1 starIf you have to have a company that provides Good Service DO NOT select LinCare. I have been with them for awhile and I am trying to find a new provider. They have been the WORST at customer service. They do not return phone calls and they just don't seem to care. If I were to grade them on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 Being EXECELLENT they would be a Negative 2. I had to select a Star to leave this review. I would not even give them a Star if I had an option to not do so. Honestly they are impossible to deal with. I don't know why; I pay my bill on time, the insurance is paying their portion and I don't bug them for anything. I do, however, expect service when I call for it. That is another issue. Don't call and expect to get a person on the phone. I have spent anywhere from 25 minutes to more than an hour on HOLD waiting for someone to talk to; after I've gone through the "If you are calling about such and such press 1, etc.". Terrible customer service. I have called their Corporate Headquarters and spent 25 minutes on hold only to speak with someone who opened a complaint claim for me and gave me a 16 digit claim number. That didn't make me feel warm and fuzzy at all. I don't expect much from that call either. It seems this is a Top Down issue. ****** *******, Grove City, OH. I am not afraid to identify myself with this review.
