The office I went to was filthy (*********, **)! I almost left. I did not want to sit down. The service was terrible and despite paying and them filing with insurance it has been months since I have received any supplies. They do not answer emails or calls. This place is just awful.

This company dropped off oxygen tanks and an oxygen machine without any written instructions without any pamphlets with instructions to my 95 year old dad that my 96 year old mom needed. I happen to be visiting due to my mom's hospitalization. I had no idea how to use, any of it, it was just left there without instructions. If it had not been for the *** who brought my mom home from the hospital, I would not have known how to switch out the valves. She asked it I knew how to use them. She showed me, but what was not explained by he company were the critical issues that could cause a horrific accident and in fact it did. There is a washer that is attached to the valve. I learned the hard way that if you tighten the valve too tight, it will stick to the canister and even fall off onto the ground. Not realizing that had happened on my first attempt to switch out the valve, I placed the valve correctly onto the new canister, but not knowing the washer had stuck to the other o2 canister, when I turned it on, it took off like a missile, turning frantically on the floor, loudly spewing o2 out!! I had to cover it with a blanket that happened to be close by. Somewhere in that moment, it hit my foot and broke it in 2 places, along with a fracture in my toe! I am now in a boot and crutches for 6-8 weeks. The saving ***** is that it was the smallest canister. I can't imagine what would have happened had it been a bigger one. Even more scary, what would have happened if my dad had tried to switch that out not knowing how important making sure that washer was still attached to the valve to cover that opening. I completely hold ******* responsible for this accident. They should absolutely have some kind of pamphlet, or someone to come to new customers and give them proper and thorough instructions since these o2 tanks can be extremely dangerous if not used properly. I will be sending a letter to the companies CEO

I was referred to American ************************ which is a Lincare company. They set me up with a sleep apnea machine with a nasal mask that wont stay in place. I pulled a full face mask out of my closet that is at least 10 years old and used it a few times and saw it worked. I quit using the machine a week and a half ago hoping insurance will call me to see why Im out of compliance so I can fully tell them. Emails to the local office, apparently the regional office, to Lincare themselves and tried calling the local office. All American ************************ care about is filing a claim, take the money and run. No patient care.

I lodged a complaint against LINCARE and THE REPRESENTATIVE said that their MAIN HEADQUARTER was in ********. I called and they had no idea what I was talking about. I callled LIncare again and they referred me to *******. I called the number they gave me and it was a nursing home. I called again and they gave me Floridas Lincare phone number and upon pressing the agent if Lincare had a main building , it turned out that the majority of the locations were all call centers. I have paid twice and now theyre telling me, via mail, that a collection agency will be dealing with me. Their 800 number is located in ************, **, POPULATION ******.

This company is a racket! They do not respond to phone calls, email or online contact form. They just keep sending you supplies you do not need and billing you. Then they file insurance and bill you again for the same items stating it's your insurance company's fault. 20 years of using *** and this is the worst I have ever had to deal with. They also do not credit you for returned items and say they never received them.

This company kept me trapped in my house for over two months because they could not manage to deliver my portable oxygen equipment. I called day after day, week after week and heard the same lies and promises over and over, no shame. On each and every call, the worker would be mystified and have no record of me, eventually find my case and be surprised at the error, then explain the glitch and promise to fix it--over and over, even when I spoke to the office manager. I would say, "You understand it's OXYGEN I need, right?" and they would say, "Oh, yes. Oxygen, that's what we do." This is fraud.

Lincare sets patients up for recurring monthly billing even when asked not to. I ordered one-time supplies and told the rep not to put me on recurring billing but they did. I had to call to get the charge removed. This is the second time this company has done this and I won't be using them again. I believe it is their strategy to overload patients with supplies, thus overbilling them and subsequently insurance companies. I have seen online that they had to pay a $29 million settlement for overbilling Medicare patients. I hope this company is under investigation again.

It took SIX WEEKS to get oxygen from them, even with repeated calls and prescriptions from the doctors office. They put me on hold for long periods, could not find the right person for me to speak with. After my husband and I visited their office, in person, and signed the required paperwork so that I could discuss his needs, they did not enter it into their system and I was refused permission to discuss anything every time we interacted with them. Unfortunately, our area is very limited on suppliers for DME, etc. They should be closed down. Some company needs to step up, realize there is a large population base in this area, and the need is really great. Heaven forbid anyone should need them in an emergency!
