Lincare Inc is a company that is quite horrible to work with as I have discovered recently while caring for my 81 year old mother in my home. Mom has COPD and is on oxygen 24 hours per day. At home she uses a oxygen concentrator, and has one portable Inogen unit that allows her the luxury to go away for a short amount of time. On Sunday, the O2 concentrator began to give us some trouble and warnings. We immediately contacted Lincare. We spoke to a woman named, Kahasi. she said they would have a refurbished O2 con. sent out first thing in the morning, and they would be getting a new one on order for her. No one showed up on Monday. I called and spoke to a man and he said it will be here,(Mon.) It was on the delivery truck. NOPE! Didn't come. During this time we were very concerned because the con. kept going off. We turned off the O2 con. and switched her to her portable-meant for only short amounts of time before this other burned up. Mom had called and the phone rand and rang. I did the same, with the result of someone hanging the phone up, not answering. Their favorite trick is I'll put you on hold, and no one comes back to the line! So today, Tuesday, I called again and refused to be put on hold & I let them know I meant business, the man that came to the line said I only have one driver. (Skeleton crew, no overtime)He told me to DRIVE DOWN AND PICK IT UP! I refused to budge. Its their job! I find out that these units are supposed to be serviced every so often and mom's NEVER has been in 8 yrs! They are supposed to be replaced every so many years. Her's,NEVER! A kind and caring delivery man showed up about 20 mins later. I could tell he was worried for mom. He was given the wrong address and went out to MOM'S Mon. and then returned later that evening-no answer. Mom & I both remember telling Kahasi the delivery needs to go to my home, not moms. Gave address. I reported Lincare to CMMS for elderly abuse & possible wrongful billing fraud & BBB as well.Lincare Inc.

As I understand it Lincare has problems all throughout the business. I highly doubt contacting the lcare team will solve any problems the way this company functions.
If I do happen to get the attention of someone in FL, you know, someone in a higher place than the SLC office I dealt with, then I will say to you, you've got problems and do not know how to run a business. When there is no over-time work allowed, you want to know what happens? The company runs on a skeletal crew. They can't answer their calls, which make the customer infuriated. This trickles down to drivers that have to stop their deliveries when their hours are worked. They are told no over-time. IF you DO happen to get a hold of someone by phone you are SO mad, try to push a little weight around to get your need filled, they lie and say, "we are "short" on drivers today." Someone had the tenacity to say to me, "you can come PICK IT UP." REALLY?! After them being late two days on what they promised? Guess what, the "no over time" rule hurts the customer. The poor delivery folks are the ones that have to go in and face angered customers. Needless to say, I am a extremely nervous caretaker of a COPD patient. Needs oxygen 24/7. Her concentrator is going off and the alarm beeping every hour. And I have dealt with this run around by your company for 2 days since calling. By now I am extremely scared, nervous and anxious. I hope I don't need to explain to you why. This company provides to my mother a LIFE SAVING device. What if she would have expired during the night because her concentrator simply gave out. Yes, it was plugged directly into an outlet and all the things we were questioned at the beginning to try to save your butts, soon to be sued for the death of my mother. I think it may be well for upper management to meet with the "little guys" running the company for you in SLC and actually stop what unnecessary corporate things you are doing, and have a look. From what I understand if anyone wants to get anything heard or said, you people in FL are flat out to blame for the extremely POOR manner this business is ran. Someone better fix it before someone has a loss and hires a big time corporate attorney and then you are going up against
one huge lawsuit- Like from me, for instance. Repair your ways before you get into legal trouble.Review fromPaul P

I am experiencing a difficult time ordering and getting delivery of my oxygen tanks from the Winchester, VA, Lincare Office. Today, I have placed several telephone calls to find out the delivery time. Each call I have been assured they would get right back with me. THEY HAVE NOT CONTACTED ME. The office is now closed! I am a 100% Disabled Veteran with Agent Orange exposure from Vietnam and I need the oxygen tanks to travel to Dr Appointments.

Lincare picked up all their equipment on June 21, 2022. They charged my credit card after that date and when they owed me a refund from the date my account was cancelled. I have called numerous times and they refuse to give me my refund due.Lincare Inc.

I have called the above phone number three times already and also left a message for a supervisor that is supposedly overseeing the refund. I have received the runaround each time I called and as of today August 21, I have not heard back from the supervisor. I even get a collection notice five days before they charged my credit card an additional amount even after they were notified and agreed that a refund was due. Absolutely terrible supply company, if you can AVOID this one. It's no coincidence that they have such a low rating for so many people. This business is so incredibly shady and they will ALWAYS mess something up that ends up costing you money down the line... Or even worse, they'll cut off your supplies so that you can't.. you know, CONTINUE LIVING a normal life. They will make vague blanket claims to make money off you, they will shut off auto renewal and/or claim your insurance is at fault (when reality your insurance isn't at fault at all, it's these guys.) They will hardly notify you of anything EVER, BUT DONT WORRY they'll make sure that $500 bill for your plastic tube and mask end up at your door. If you like being constantly stressed out, not being notified of any changes on your account until it's too late and blowing large amounts of money for no reason, this is the company for you!Lincare Inc.

We get our babies formula through LinCare. I understand there is a shortage and our formula has been on backorder. That is totally out of ALL our hands but the problem with LinCare is we are getting a call from them saying it's back in stock and being shipped out to us. After two weeks of not receiving our deliver we call and they tell us it's still back ordered!!! This has now happened to us 3 times. They aren't taking any responsibility for their mistakes. They just keep saying they are training new people. Totally unacceptable. I can't wait for my baby to be done with formula. It's a shame how they do business.Lincare Inc.

My husband relies on oxygen 24/7. Yesterday 8-16-22 was the 3rd time we ordered oxygen, with no delivery of order! This is the 2nd time I have had to cancel my husbands cardiac appointment because lincare DID NOT deliver when promised! Since no one seems accountable, and he HAS TO have air to travel, as well as at home all the time, I regret doing business with lincare. I will not be nice anymore, and I am taking names too. They are NOT going to like doing business with me, either!Lincare Inc.

I am 84 years young and have dealt with a lot of companies and businesses in my lifetime. Lincare is by far the poorest run company I have ever had dealings with. Their customer service is very, very poor. I had been using (renting), one of their INR testing machines. I was supposed to test and report my results once a week. While I was using it, if I missed one day of not reporting my test results, they would call 2 or 3 times a day until I reported my results. Even late, late evenings and weekends. After 1 year and 4 months I returned my machine to a nearby Lincare facility. They affirmed that they would let the company know of the return and stop the constant calling to me. I returned the machine 1 month ago and they are still calling me to report my test results. For a person of my age this has turned out to be very annoying, frustrating and aggravating. I have since called several times and talked to numerous people and every one of them have told me that they would get the phone calling stopped. This company needs either new management or be put out of business, immediately. They are ripping Medicare off big time with the amount they charge for their supplies and services. I am sick of this type of service and this company!Lincare Inc.

I did call my local LINCARE office, as I was advised to do, by the icare team. They assured me they would get the calling stopped. As of this email, I have received two calls today. Again, this company is very poorly operated and something needs to done to make for better relations with their customers. 1 starMy doctor ordered me a ****** over a month ago through preferred home Care and they called and told me that my order was ready and it is 13dollars and change I then told them that I would be in ******** on the 2nd of August but they were closed for lunch so I called the next day and paid and asked if they would deliver yes she said that it would be there the 5th I said okay then she calls me back and told me that if was not there that it would take 2 more weeks I asked her what happened to the one that they had for me she said don't know I would not send my worst enemy to them.
