      Awful. Paid extra for toll device that I was told would, well, pay the tolls. Turns out that what it pays for is the $14.99 "administrative fee" they charge you ON TOP of tolls if you don't buy it. Either way you have to pay the tolls ***********, first, the existence of the "administrative fee" itself is absurd. Second, don't lie to me at the desk about what I'm getting when I pay for the ************ cheap cheap cars, and then you pay and pay and pay.

      As an investigator, I've run into a variety of strange ways businesses run their operation. I recently tried to discuss with them a late model vehicle that was found at a suspicious location and they sent me to "security ****** They confirmed the vehicle was theirs and that they had filed a stolen vehicle report. Great I'm thinking. When I asked with what agency, they wouldn't tell me. The info was passed on to a SO CAL ************ stolen vehicle taskforce and they tried to get the same information but were refused the information. ***? You find a $50,000 or more vehicle that belongs to this company and they won't cooperate? It is what it is so off to impound it will go tomorrow. Would I have business dealings with the organization? H*** NO! Renter Beware.

      My husband rented a car from *********. When he got the car he told the employee that there were scratches on the car when he walked around it. The employee said, they have all been recorded. When he returned the car, he got an email with a bill for the scratches. Unbelievable, this company is a scam.

      I wish I could give them a 0. **** is 100% a scam company with a class action lawsuit filed that Im now part of. They claimed I damaged the vehicle even though I walked around the car with their employee and he noted it was perfect when we returned it. When I got home I got a 2200 bill for damages. SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM.

      They are a scam and shake down for money. Rented a car at ********************, the garage where we picked up the car was dark and not well lit, nobody inspected the car with us. We walked around it and didnt see any obvious damage to the car and took possession. Drove about 100 miles the few days we had it. Dropped it off at **************************, attended marked a 2 inch scratch on bumper and claimed we caused the damage and want $800 to repair. We did not cause that scratch but have no way of providing that it wasnt there already.We rent cars all the time all over the ** and even Europe and never had to deal with something like this over a small scratch. They claim its their business model to provide cars in best condition- their business model is to lure you in with cheap prices for nice cars and then shake you down for lots of money with fraudulent claims!!

      I had an absolutely terrible experience with this company at the ***************. I prepaid for the rental through ******* and when I arrived at the location they advised they needed an additional $200 deposit/hold. I advised I could use the same card I booked the rental with and was told they do not accept debit **** cards. As I did not have another credit card I asked if a family member could come provide their credit card for the deposit and I was told no as my name was on the booking. I then asked if I could add the family member to the rental for an additional cost so they could pay the deposit. Once again I was told no. I was told without a card in my own name there was nothing they were willing to do except keep my money for the original booking and make a new booking in my family members name with me as a second ******** attempting to scam me into having to pay for the rental twice. The staff were extremely condescending and rude, including the manager. I would never recommend this company to anyone and highly suggest you take your business elsewhere.

      Terrible experience with this company. I would also give Sixt 0 stars if possible. Rented a car from Sixt at the ****************, drove to *************, without incidence, where we dropped the car off at the airport very early in the morning. There was no Sixt personal available to assist us at drop off, which we did not think anything of until a couple weeks later, when we received an almost $900 bill for damages. I had taken a photo of the back of the vehicle the evening before we returned the car and the image clearly shows zero damage. It almost looks as if they ran the 'damage' photos through some sort of photo editing software; the photos they sent of alleged damage look digitally manipulated. Unbelievable experience. **** is an unethical, deceptive company. Auto renters BEWARE.

      same issue as most, I had the car for 2 days and they are showing me damage, around the rim that I didn't do, with wrong car description I rented a *** they wrote Acadia their pics only show the scratches but not when it happened, and it's not something if ever look for when I take the car to point out, this is just a way to make more money

      Company renta cars with previous damage and then seeks payment for the damage once you return it. ******. Take photos before you drive off the lot.

      I have rented with them twice now, 1 time in the ** and one time in ****** *******. The first time they tried to charge me for an extra $400 for a car not returned. It took months for them to realize their mistake. The second time in *******, they tried to take an additional $125 dollars off my credit card 1 month after I returned the car, with no explanation. I denied the charge, 2 weeks later I got a letter that they charged me a charge for a toll charge, I sent emails and tried to call for 3 months and SIXT did not respond when I was just trying to find a way to pay and get further explanation. Then I got an email from a credit collection agency in ******* 2 months later with over an additional $100 added on for penalty for failure to pay. So by the time I paid it I had to pay an additional $150. All this because **** did not respond to any emails or calls from me. I would recommend not use SIXT in renting a car, especially in other countries. They have nice cars but their customer service is terrible and they try to add additional charges on without notifying the customer.
