  Be aware. This company is a scam as other reviewers wrote. If you get scammed and your flight is booked at a much higher price than they promised, DO NOT panic. You can call your airline directly to cancel your flight if it is within 24 hours of your booking. This is what happened. We booked a flight through the company enticed by a lower airfare. Then, a female agent called me saying the flight was a promotional one and no luggage was allowed. She said to bring luggage, I needed to pay more. This was very strange and I did NOT agree with her. I hung up the phone and read carefully the confirmation email and their website where there was no fine print about luggage (on the phone, she said that I could not see the same page as each booking was different...). She called me back again in 10 minutes saying I needed to pay for higher price to bring my luggage. That time, I said no and was fine without bringing my luggage and told her to send me the flight booking confirmation and hung up. I googled the company and found there were many complaints about its legitimacy. So, I called my credit card company for a dispute. I found that the charge was 50% higher than that in my email receipt! As the dispute took up to 60 days, I called the airline (United) and was able to get refund:) I called my card company to block BestTicketFare for further charge.In conclusion, the company is very shaky and please do not use it. Even if you booked your flight, do not panic. You can still cancel it if it is within 24 hours of your booking.

  The similar issues happened to me, I booked a flight and purchased the tickets at a particular price, then they told that I have to call them to secure the tickets, they were going to charge me additional $425 per person, they called United Airlines via phone and made a reservations at a higher price when I have made the original reservation online ($1,199) more to be exact, then this morning they call me back again and told me that I had to paid additional $425 per person. I have asked for a cancellation and said that I wouln't get a refund for this deal, I told them I wasn't going to approved the additional charges and they cancelled the flight, I had to called my credit card company to put a stop on the charge. everyone don't use or purchase airlines tickets from this company

  Totally a scam site, I purchased a ticket for $501.00, received several phone calls to inform me that that there were additional charges coming to a balance now of $989.00. Then emailes were sent with all this threatening information to confirm. I did not reply and will watch my cc for being charged. I contacted my credit card company to inform them I do not approve this charge. SCAM and obviously from India? at least the guy was. He would not give me any information on where he was or his full name. DON'T BOOK WITH RIP OFF SCAM SITE

  Dam I wish I would have read this before getting scammed is there a way to get my money back. They scammed me ****** per person for a carry on less than 20 lbs but had no choice or else I lose my tickets. Is there anyway to get my money back? I didn't leave a star if it's there the computer automatically put it there.

  I too was duped by this company--when I called to try and cancel the agent told me it was impossible and I could "use it or lose it". It's too bad they don't look at the consumer--the review from one of the consumers of "bait and switch" is absolutely 100% correct. Jo *.

  I booked a flight - read all the fine print before submitting. Their policy is to call to confirm & verify payment information. At this time, was told I could not have a carryon, but I could carry on my computer. I could NOT check a bag and "they had aleady charged my credit card" & the flight was non-refundable. I was fine with the non-refundable ticket or I wouldn't have submitted the booking. The fact that fraudulent information provided with the booking is my issue. They lied on the booking when it said I could have 1 carryon. I've NEVER heard of an airline that wouldn't let you check a bag since most airline charge for this service.

  These positive reviews must be fake. I was lucky. I called my credit card company in time to prevent them from robbing me. High pressure up sell after saying the tickets I agreed to were invalid. Since checking the internet I have found their practices are fraudulent. Found them on Kayak. Kayak good. Best ticket fare bad.

  this company is a scam! you're given one price online and then the next day the price goes up. if you try to cancel, you're told that's not possible, you'll lose your money. while my husband argued with the person on the phone, i called our credit union. they had not yet gotten anything out of our account. i canceled our card and with it those tickets they said we had to pay for. the company should be investigated by a few attorney gernerals, and shut down.

  This is a fraudulent company. I went to their web site and booked airline tickets with them but they did not book the tickets. Instead the called me to double the price quoted on their web site and told me I could not cancel and put through the charge. I called the airline and had them cancel the booking. DO NOT USE "BESTTICKETFARE".com.

  I wish I could give them a 0 star. I made a reservation with them for a good price. I got an email stating I needed to call to secure my ticket because it was not guaranteed. I then called and they told me with that promotion I cannot take any sort of luggages and that the airline will refuse me to pay for luggage. They told me I needed to upgrade by paying double, was about $400 and will then cost me over $800 to bring even just a carry on. I then ask for a cancellation and they told me there is no refund for this deal. after a bunch of back and forth with so called supervisor I then told them too keep everything as is. Luckily it was a payment made throught Klarna with a temporary card. I contacted ****** and they informed me that payment has not been proceesed therefore I can cancel the card/payments and so I cancelled. This is a bait and switch company with very bad business ethics. They are a SCAM and should be banned. I feel bad for people who fell in the trap and endded up paying double or not getting a refund.
