      They charged me for a domain name that I have had for years but decided not to renew. Network Solutions will not refund the money because they need authorization from the domain name's primary contact. The primary contact was a web hosting business that no longer exists. I have always been the owner of the name, have always been billed for and paid for it. My credit card company won't credit my account without ********************** stating in writing to them that I am not renewing the name. Network Solutions wants me to get an affidavit from the original primary contact, which is impossible. Yet they charged me for the name anyway. I spent hours on the phone with them trying to get it resolved. But no luck. What a cluster.

      I signed up for a support service, to solve one issue, the service was placed on auto renewal and there is no way to disable the auto renewal through the account portal. I recently received an email saying my domain registration had expired, when I logged onto my account the domain that was expiring was one I had never authorized, a ".online" variant of my actual domain. A total scam!

      If I could give 0 stars I would. I have had an ecommerce store since the days of Monster Commerce (almost 20 years). International shipping has been broken since February. Our site goes down all the time and they tell us 1-2 days for resolution. This is unacceptable these days. The ecommerce software is so outdated as well. We're going to be leaving this fall and I won't miss it at all!

      DONT DO IT.Network Solutions locked up our domain name due to a temporary email address change to prevent the domain name transfer to another service provider for 30 days. The transfer was requested and required due to the loss of a third party server hosting our website and related email. For a company that relies on a website and communicates with vendors and clients this is devastating. To bad there are no negative stars as giving this company one star is overrated.

      Network solutions, what a mess. Cancelled the service back in 2018 and have multiple web domains. Been billing me for a none existing account since 2018. Would be continuing to bill me if our cc didn't expire. Refund, sorry, no way to do that!

      Network Solutions use to be a fairly good company that I recommended to other. Now their support is HORRIBLE. You cannot create tickets and when the chat or phone support people FINALLY create a ticket for you, you do not get an email confirmation and have no way have following progress or adding information. I created a support ticket on Monday, May 22 was told their would be a resolution within ***** hour, as of today, May 25 their has been no update. The online chat support person just tells me to be patient! All I want is for the website that I created with their site creator to actually publish updates. This is not the first problem I have had with their support. I had s similar issue when trying to initially publish this website. The site was down for days!!!I will not be recommending this company to any more clients after this experience.

      I sympathize with the reviewers of Network Solutions that have filed before me. I have had an account with the company for around 20 years. Today it is like dealing with an insane asylum in the movie Catch 22. You call customer service, and they direct you to the Chat line. You call them and they refer you to customer service! You ask for a supervisor to be told there is no one on duty. You ask for a manager, and you get the same response. Then the link goes dead. Billing is a disaster. I am making queries though legal advisors to see if the company is committing fraud by changing account settings to Automatic billing without the client approval and then charging credit cards exorbitant fees. I would not be surprised if the company will be the subject of a class action law suit at some time in the future. If that does arise it may be a good idea for aggrieved customers to keep records of interactions, copy any live chat messages and keep a record of phone calls to customer service or even call ** and ask to complain to the **** Do not use the customer service one. Get the ** one from ****** Good luck!

      Impossible to get them to fix problems with billing once you have an error on your account. The only option is to transfer domains away from them to another registrar once renewals have an error, but this is also problematic since the process routinely fails due to auth codes not working after a few days.It's not worth trying to keep domains with them until close to expiration to "save money". It's better to get away from them if you ever made the mistake of using them in the first place.

      0 stars if I could leave it blank. I simply wanted to take ownership of my deceased father's domain with Network Solutions. The laborious process has grinded to a halt. His website is still disabled. I have sent them a Death Certificate and Last Will and Testament, and my DL ID, and still they need more info. Asking me for a Business License and ID in addition. This is a personal website. No transactions just an author's site. I cannot believe how poor this customer service is- and you have 48 hours to complete or they close your file. Worst experience I have had with a corporation in a very long time if not forever.

      They deserve no rating whatsoever. I've cancelled my domain and cancel the renewal, but they kept charging for their website builder and marketing for local visibility for a website no longer existed. Contacted customer service and they had assure me that I would no longer get charged. At least that's what thought. A year later not realizing this company was still taking my money, they had done that they supposedly cancel the renewal. PLEASE be weary of the their monthly terms and conditions. If you can avoid them, do so.
