      Hello, I am the owner of a Lennar home. I currently have a kitchen cabinet that is falling off the wall, and squeaky floors upstairs. I have been around second story homes my entire life, and I've never had issues with squeaky floors like I have with this home. And the kitchen cabinet falling off the wall? that should just not happen, period. Even if the home is almost 10 years old. Anyhow, I've called in before about the squeaky floors, starting at 6 years, and each time Lennar was responsive and came out, and never mentioned anything about the floors being out of warrenty. Last week, I opened up a work order request (case ********). I was called by **** who said that the floors are only covered for 3 years, and out of warranty, which was NEVER mentioned the prior times they've come out. In fact, these areas that I'm expressing concern over, I was told that if they got worse to just open another request and they would come back out (which I did). **** said he even checked with his VP (*****) and he said no to my reqeust for the same reason. I'd like to add, that **** offered to have ***** call me, when I requested for someone to call me, but ***** never did, but rather my case was closed and request declined later that day. At this point, I would like Lennar to stand by their work and fix my floors and repair my kitchen cabinet. Thank you.

      Regarding the floor squeak, that statement is false   The floor squeaks are noticeable during normal walking conditions  in fact, while your two inspector **** and ****** were clearly looking for reasons not to be helpful, they never mentioned normal walking conditions.  They have a lot of other excuses as to why the floor squeaks and why they could not assist, but never mentioned normal walking conditions.  

      Also, they did not commit to helping me with the cabinet  only giving excuses and making statements that implied I broke the cabinet  

      bottom line, your two inspectors Will and ****** did not make me feel good as a consumer that Lennar was trying to help me out

      I contracted purchase buliding new house from lennar home ******** *********, ** Last July 27, 2022 When I signed purchase new house they say house will be ready early August. Price is $430000 with cash pric (no finace) I move from East coast state and I sold my house end of June 2022. They delayed every time ready house end of August and early September and mid of October then now mid of Novbember even more more ****. I undrerstand covic19 make shortage of labour and materrials. But I sold my house and I am stay hotel mostly time spend lots of money. And When I signed house sales people say if house prices dropped they will match price of house. But one month later they sold another house same option same size $408000 they only price drop for me $5000. I complained delay for the house and price drop they not care. Sales people she is awsome but her boss say no. lennar say $2000 for 3-4 weeks for hotel stsy credit but not enough for the expense for hotel and foods.Now market is changed, house prices **** dropped lennar holding my deposit $11000. I wish lennar build house sooner and I want price matched for they sold house $408000 or my depsit money $11000 refund.

      (8/24) Initial Walk Through: The cabinets were all misaligned and had major blemishes throughout the home, the fence was misaligned, the front door has an obvious gap at the bottom right corner, the **** temperature differential was <15 degrees Fahrenheit, the bottom right corner of the garage didnt seal for a community known to be infested with black widows, multiple window screens were bent and/or did not sit evenly, and most importantly, there was an obvious bowing of the living room wall.I confirmed with **** that EVERY SINGLE ITEM was addressed before taking more time off work, as I had made it clear I needed that wall taken care of before going through the final walk through.(8/31) Closing day: Greeted by ***** and told that our main concerns regarding the **** and bowing of the wall were considered but not fixed. He then proceeded to let us know that he will not force us to go through with the final walk through and sign our closing documents after having us take time off work and confirming via phone that all our concerns were addressed.To keep it short, all they did was align the front door and the cabinets, ********* OF THE BENT WINDOW SCREENS, which has left large gaps to allow opportunities for pests to enter. We were told that the wall was within tolerance and the gaps between the window frames, as well as the unsealed garage, where potentially lethal black widow infested property was within tolerance and the purpose was to allow fluids to exit the garage. The fact that surrounding homes DO NOT HAVE the same gap, is a telltale sign that it is not there by achitectural design, but a builders DEFECT..I then did an exterior walkthrough after two weeks to reassess my concerns. To my surprise, there were new cracks on the exterior wall, and obvious compressed and stressed windows that were not apparent two weeks prior . Lennar refused to refund us our ******* money and claimed that all our concerns were within tolerance.

      We purchased a new home in December 2021. We love the home and the area, but we have had continuous problems with the builder. **** submitted numerous claims with them and they refuse to fix things the proper way. We had huge puddles of standing water on our patio concrete slab because the back yard was not graded properly and all water was flowing into our area. We asked them to fix this, but they decided to put in a French drain. The drain works enough and we no longer have huge puddles. However, it constantly has standing water in it thats attracting flies and all kinds of other bugs. We came home one day to find about 100 dead flies in the house right outside this area. We immediately called an exterminator who told us it was likely due to the standing water. Several weeks later I noticed my dog was scratching her side repeatedly. When I took her to the vet, they pulled a worm from a fly out of her side. The vet said its extremely rare for domestic animals to experience this and that its typically seen in farm animals. Shes 13 and only leaves the house to use the bathroom. Ive brought all of this to Lennars attention and they refuse to properly grade the back yard and remove the French drain so we dont have these health issues anymore. Everything theyve done since we purchased the home has been done poorly, improperly, or the cheap way. Attached are pictures of the flies found in my home, the exterminators bill, the vet bill, and photos of my dog.

      We have previously responded to the **************** regarding this situation. While we sympathize with ****** (the pets) condition, Lennar is not responsible for illnesses contracted by the pet. Lennar recommended that **************** follows a vets recommendations in regards to vaccinations and preventative measures. Per the report from the homeowners vet, the cause of the dogs concern is the result of a Botfly. This is a common insect found across the USA, and as such, Lennar cannot hold any responsibility for interactions which may occur between the dog and botflies, or other similar pest. Further, the drain behind the home is necessary for the removal of standing water. The drain itself is part of the common area of the community and owned by the **** The amount of water the homeowner expressed as their concern is negligible compared to the amount of water that would exist if the drain was removed. Additionally, there are other natural factors common in the community and the surrounding area which can also retain water, such as but not limited to, puddles in gutters, splash blocks, homeowner decorations, natural pooling areas, rain ditches. Etc. ************* also is in very close proximity to Cameron **** a tributary stream of the Potomac River, that can also produce the concerns the homeowner is claiming

      I am rejecting this response because:

      First, botflies are incredibly uncommon in domestic animals. This was a direct result of the drain being located two feet from my back door and fly infestations from that drain entered my home. Were not asking for Lennar to pay for my pets bill. Were simply asking for Lennar to fix the issue they created. The drain is only necessary because Lennar did not grade the backyard properly. Yes the drain is necessary at this point because mistakes were made when grading the property. We are simply asking Lennar to grade the yard correctly so as to eliminate the drain and thus the fly issue. If flies were able to get into my pets skin, imagine the health hazard it could cause to the people living in our home. We currently still have flies entering the home on the lower level even after paying to have pest control come twice now.

      Remove the drain and properly grade the yard!

      Lennar agreed there is an issue with the slope of my doors and my balcony. After 4 years, they finally agreed to fix the doors but they refuse to fix the balcony because "it's too much work". They sent a person to inspect my property but that person lacks credibility as they have a personal issue with me due to a prior situation in which there opinion was overwritten by their boss. They agreed there was an issue but would not approve the work. I have obtained an independent professional that stated there is an issue with the balcony and provided the report to Lennar. I brought this issue 4 years ago. I have asked 5 times to have someone else inspect the balcony and all my emails are ignored. I included everyone on the executive team on my emails. I have also sent ************************* e-mails separately requesting a call back and I am being ignored. Lennar only responds when litigation is filed and is handling my issue in bad faith.

Were sorry you dont feel weve done so as part of your experience with us. Our team has always responded to your in and out of warranty requests.  We initially received this request from you 3 years ago when you were 1 year out of warranty, and we declined because there was no defect. We responded a second time within the last 30 days in person with our Area Construction Manager and ****************** Manager. Our team responded a third time via email advising you of our position after the in-person meeting. Separately we handled a 558 matter for you regarding 2 items which had previously been declined. Additionally, our reason for declining the door concern is because there is no defect in the sliding glass door track or pan. SGD tracks and pans will collect water during and after a rain event. This water will evaporate, and may leave a water ***** create mildew, or leave sediment if its not cleaned annually or biannually as part of routine cleaning and maintenance.

      I contacted Lennar about my broken and cracked roofing tiles , per my 11 month home inspection. They said that a roofer would show up 9/27/22 from 1 to 4 pm to fix the problem. I waited here and nobody showed . No phone call no nothing . Now my ceiling is leaking due to all the rain from hurricane *** . Its something that could have been avoided if only they kept their appointment. We are so upset over Lennars business practices. I have 19 other outstanding complaints with them . That have not been addressed properly. We need help over here . Thank you so much for having our backs .

      I put a $12,000 deposit on a home in *******.Lennar refused to approve my loan, refund my deposit, or give me an extension, so now I have to find an apartment.They asked for my credit karma password, which is a cyber security violation that should be audited and fined.When I raised my score to 714, they claimed that now the credit karma score is not accurate.After many attempts, **************** did not even try to help me get this resolved.I am on permanent disability, and the stress that they caused made my health worse.Please help me to resolve this problem *****Thanks.

      I am reopening my previous complaint because Lennar has done nothing to help me. After months of aggravation, I need my $12,000 deposit back. Upper management never responds. I cannot close this until they return my deposit in full. I am disabled and need the money to pay my bills. Please help. Thanks

      During the Last week of July you became disqualified from the loan. During this time we required that you provide us with your pension details in addition to us needing to repull your credit. At this time your credit profile dropped. Our team gave you the opportunity to increase your score through our HBSG program but unfortunately you didnt follow through in the time frame we agreed on. Ultimately we cancelled the agreement on August 11th, as the home was scheduled to close at the end of August.

      While going through the process of closing on my Lennar home, there were some issues that were to be solved. The construction manager at the time which was ****. May 26th was our closing day and I was in the middle of moving to the new home. I got a call from **** while driving and he mentioned that he sent a document about the issues that needed to be signed so we can close. Note: We're already on the road with a moving truck with all of our things, and 2 trailers with cars. The second trailer was being pulled by my truck. Anyhow, **** mentioned that there are items from the inspection on the list that weren't complete and that he would just create a work list for the items. I thought nothing of it and signed the document. After moving in, it took Lennar a few weeks to fix things with our home but I noticed the major issues were being pushed off. The 2 Major issues was an improper grading that was allowing water to back up, and the concrete slab in my garage. The main issue for my complaint is, Lennar refuses to pay for temporary storage for my items in the Garage so they can fix the garage floor. It's un-ethical for Lennar to put me through this when they didn't resolve the issue in the first place before I moved in. I'm an extremely patient person and far from being a complainer but this is ridiculous.

      I have signed a contract and paid $2,000 ******* money to purchase ******************************************************************, the house is still under construction and expected to be closed on 10/25/2022. The house is advertised as having vinyl plan flooring throughout main living areas and when we see the model home, which is the same model as the house we purchased, the seller's representative -***************** told us that all the interior will be the same package as model home. However, when the construction of the house going on, we are surprised to find out that the flooring installed in the house is tile flooring, not the vinyl flooring as advertised. No one ever informed us of the flooring change or we signed any option summary to approve the change, we found out the flooring replaced with tile by ourselves. We have formally informed Lennar the termination of the contract and requested Lennar to refund 100% of the ******* money of $2,000 immediately, but Lennar refused to return the ******* money. Our request is based on three grounds: First, Lennar has materially breached the contract by replacing the house flooring from vinyl to tile. Second, Lennar failed to notify us the change of material or give us any options before or after we entered the contract. Third, False advertisement of Lennar, which on their website still shows the house flooring is going to be **** luxury vinyl plank flooring and 7" engineered vinyl plan flooring throughout main living areas(see attached pictures, website link is : https://www.lennar.com/new-homes/*****/dallas-ft-worth/********/*************/windhaven/included. ) Our desired resolution is Lennar to 100% refund our ******* money of $2,000 immediately.
