We closed on a home sold by this builder but the builder did not provide a fridge as per the contract. The builder stated supply chain issues yet other homes have matching fridges that were provided after the alleged supply chain issues. I believe the issues lies with the local ******* staff however I let the *** Know of the issues we were experiencing and still the issue remains unresolved. I have also not been contacted regarding inquiries regarding craftsmanship defects. The local warrantee representative stated there is no other escalation avenue but himself.Business Response

Purchased a home in Veranda Preserve 11/24/21, The house has many cosmetic & structural issues that need to be addressed.I currently have the front of my house hacked up because they never installed a lintel above two window openings, they refuse to respond to calls & emails on how & when the repairs will be made.So many cosmetic issues inside, chipped tile, broken cabinets, garage door issue, the list is endless.Business Response

I purchased a home from Lennar almost a year ago, I have dozens of items that are in need of repair, they continue to tell me someone will be here, but never show up. The front of my home has structural issues, its been chopped up for months, they never show up They made structural changes without permits, then when questioned, they ask me to sign a building permit request months after they actually started construction But still, my home is unfinished They refuse to respond honestly Ive spent thousands of dollars the last year coming to this home to accommodate contractors that never show upBusiness Response

I was in the process of getting a new construction home built with Lennar builders (Stonehaven, ************ **)- After selecting a home, I put down $500 requested by the on site *********** learning about the cost out of pocket, I decided it was too much and not to proceed - My lot was **** which is not posted yet, no ground has been broken - I was not informed verbally or in writing that after receiving the *** email, I only had 3 days to cancel - My exchange has been in text with the sales rep, and I would like to know why I cannot receive my funds back when the home is not built or nothing was finalized. EMAIL TRAIL Per my previous email, please see trail below, which incudes all the pictures and paperwork. Original email is from 4/27 below. And I'm not sure what number you called, but we only received one voice mail from you months ago. I immediately called you back and left messages, but never heard back.Maybe even a 50% reimbursement would be appreciated. This was no fault of our own, and it wasn't wear and tear or settlement -- we didn't place the huge boulder on our pipes. We've had numerous issues and bills through the years, which are not included here. It wasn't until the plumber went in with the camera, and then worse yet, when they dug up the boulder. Thank you. Sent: Thursday, April 28, 2022 at 07:09:25 PM EDT Subject: Re: Underground Plumbing Issues We never heard from your plumber, but we couldn't wait. This was an emergency situation. We were shocked, by what we found! There was a huge boulder (13" long by 8" deep) crushing our main (plumbing) drain for the house. I'm not sure what the workers were thinking by doing this.We really think we should be reimbursed for this expense. This should have never happened. I'm attaching the 2 emergency bills, since this same issue happened with construction debris backing up into our shower 3 days apart, as well as the final invoice (and details) to replace the piping. I've also attached a picture of the boulder and one picture of the damaged pipe. We have plenty more pics if you'd like to see.When we first moved in, everything was clogged with construction debris backing up into the shower. Weve had this issue come up numerous times since we moved in, so finally had them use the camera. Theres a crack in metal piping which the toilet paper is attaching to and causing the clog. When we moved in the grout was different colors, so they needed to come out and color seal all the grout. I am so angry and confused about not close this house without finishing it. This house had no door no window and not finished drywall,etc. We already told them at the basecamp,we won't close this deal,how could they close by themselves. It was important to stress the neutrality on title company. Why they are only working for the developer not for us. Firstly, in 2021 I had gone through breast cancer and multiple surgeries. My family and I decided that we wanted for a better life and to move somewhere a bit less stressfull and allow me to heal. We thought buying a new home and having it built would be a blessing after my health issues and the stress on my family. On November 29, 2021 myself, my husband and my mother purchased a house in Forestbroook Estates, ************, **. The walk through we conducted prior to our closing was horrendous, with many items needing to be fixed. Our realtor advised us to just mark everything with blue tape and Lennar would take care of all the mistakes in the house. We gave them an extra two days to fix these items in which only a few were corrected. Due to time restraint, financial cost and the fact that our belongings were all being delivered, we needed to move in. However, Lennar promises a 1 year warranty and not to worry about anything because whatever wasn't fixed would be done within the year. We are about three months away from our 1 year warranty coming to an end and we are STILL waiting for things to be *********** item that Lennar sent an outside vendor in to fix still was done incorrectly and no one has been back to correct it. We paid almost $400,000 for our house, but the quality and workmanship within the house is of terrible quality. There is no craftmanship or quality work anywhere within the house. I have been disraught and cannot sleep since we moved into this house. I moved here after treatment for breast cancer to be able to unwind, recuperate and heal and it has been nothing but stress, unskilled workers, no show scheduled appointments, days waiting for someone to show up and no progress.This company should not even be allowed to operate. There are millions of people filing suits, complaints and misrepresentation all over the country. This needs to stop and they need to be held accoutable.Business Response

Entered into a contract July 2022 with Lennar for purchase of the ****** floorplan at Wexford Reserves 50s in ************ **. Was notified at approx. 2 weeks that this floorplan was not permitted on lot by ************. After considering, asked for refund on deposit. Roughly Aug. 8th was told would have news ok. No news came again asked for refund of deposit asked to revisit once dilemma worked out. Was told no deposits would be refunded until conclusion was made!! In the meantime Lennar wants to to continue down purchasing path which I refuse to do considering the lack of answers being given and the responses received. Hi, I purchased two new houses from Lennar back in 3/29/22 and we were supposed to close on one the on 8/23/22 and 2nd one on 8/30/22 however today is 9/1/22 we didnt close on any of those houses I purchased with no explanation and no return email also we have a lot of issues with both houses. 1- wrong style roof and wrong color was installed 2- they paint one house wrong color 3-wrong color paver installed then they realized is wrong they stop the work order correct color and waiting for that 4- both houses have issues with windows the way the installed I asked to meet with construction manager for the past 3 weeks no return phone calls 5- bath tub vs shower one house come with shower in 2nd bathroom and one house comes with bath tub when I asked why is that both house is same there respond was shower was installed in error 6- cabinet and sink in laundry room again one house has it but not the 2nd house doesnt when I asked they gave the same respond was installed in error 7- wrong style garage door is installed and one of them is already damaged 8-kitchen cabinets big gaps between the corner and doors they responded when we do walkthrough we will take a note 9- front door of of the house is damaged and is big gap between door an frame 10- very dirty inside the both house and the delivered all the appliances without covering them I sold my house Im renting till September 30th but they dont care about customer Anyway hopefully by complaining to you they do something about it. -11/29/21 Closing date -I purchased a corner property -I was promised a opening by ***************************** on this corner property in the back fence. -This was never done, they later told me the builder changed his mind. -First house had it then they changed it, no one told me. Now I have to spend money to have someone come and do this. -No one mentioned a garabe dump in front of my house when I purchased my corner lot. It was not in my plans. This is false advertising. Why would I spent $20,000 more on a corner lot for a Garbage dump in front of my home. -I have left several email with regard to water damage from a pipe or something the wall in my family room-crown molding is all wet like if water is coming in from the outside. HVAC to small per building J codes. Makes every excuse to putting more insulation in, to putting up sensors to delaying until the weather cools down. Minimum HVAC size is supposed to be 2.5 ton for time enough to cycle moisture out then cold air in. Mechanical inspector undersizes. ISSUE IS HVAC SIZING NOTHING ELSE. To clarify they are waiting until cooler weather. Housing office had to provide a seperate room conditioner because Lennar put in UNDERSIZED ONE. Replace with correct size or tell their contractor greystar because of undersize to discount $70 a month for rent for excess electric bill. Please investigate Lennar if you have FB link here.
