    We were convinced by this company to sell our Thousand Trails campground membership directly to them for $5,800 rather than list it with them for sale and let them try to find a buyer. It was supposed to be a "faster route to getting paid" and we were told we'd have payment three to four weeks from our saying "yes". We completed all paperwork on February 23d of this year and the membership was transferred to them on March 18. It has now been over two months and we continue to get the runaround about when the payment will be cut. Had I read these other complaints before doing business with them I would never have considered it.

    I am awaiting payment for a TT membership that I sold through them for months. I get nothing but excuses when I ask for my payment details. This has been in progress since 10/18/23. I want my $2,000. I have attached a chain of email excuses.

    DATE OF TRANSACTION: 1/18/2023. PAID $275 TO SELL MY CAMPGROUND MEMBERSHIP FROM *************************. PRICE HAS BEEN REDUCED TWICE AND NO OFFERS YET. BUSINESS KEEPS STATING THAT THEY ARE WORKING ON IT AFTER I AGREED TO REDUCE PRICE. HAVE NOT SEEN GOOD AD ON THE PROPOSED SALE.     We were told that we could sell our Thousand Trails membership for 1800.The buyer was to pay transfer fees.We lost access to our TT account mid-December. When I reached out to ***, She said to wait a couple weeks and payment should arrive in the mail.I have reached out over 6 times via emails and voice messages with no response.It seems after doing some research that this has happened many times.I have now emailed someone else in the company, asking for some sort of response.I will attach documents that we signed and email correspondence.We desire to be paid the amount of $1800, as promised.

    We had responded to the members email on the 17th ~ and confirmed we were assisting, and that their payment shows in processing to be mailed within 7 to 10 days ~

    It does show processed, and to be mailed in the batch being issued on the 25th - which is in the timeframe we advised. 

    And member does receive an email with their tracking number to confirm in route as well.

    My Thousand Trails Membership sale was completed on October 4th 2023. I am still waiting for payment from Campground Membership Outlet. First I was told there was a back-up in the accounting department. Later I was told it would be sent to the accounting department again and that they would keep me informed as to the progress. It's now been almost 4 months and they have stopped answering their phones or replying to phone messages or emails.

    We did show an oversight in the system with this seller - and was in communication with him to resolve mid January ~ and a check was issued and sent to member along with a tracking number to confirm. - customer received payment

    Date of transaction: July 26, 2023 Campground Membership Outlet agreed to advertise my Thousand Trails Membership, locate a buyer and process the necessary paperwork for a fee of - $275.00 Information was received from Thousand Trails that the transfer was complete on November 18, 2023.As of this date I have phoned Campground Membership Outlet every week to inform that I have not received payment for my Thousand Trails Membership and they are no longer answering their phone.

    on 1/31/23 I paid them $275 to list my Thousand Trails membership for sale. On 9/1/23 they had a buyer and sent me paperwork to sign to start the transfer to a new owner which were signed and returned via email same day. On 10/13/23 Melissa from CMO sent “the final forms” that needed signing which were again signed and returned the same day to which she added "Once we get forms from your buyer, we send to be completed TT will have your account closed out within the next week or two and we receive confirmation of completion, and process and send out your payment. On 11/13/23 I got a letter from Thousand Trails saying my membership transfer was complete to the new owner (see attached). Called Melissa to verify and she confirmed and said they’d send a check out within a week. Keep in mind they were paid $275 to broker this back in January, they received all the money from the buyer and have been holding it since September as the buyer pays up front. After a couple unanswered emails in early December I called Monday 12/18/23 and left a voicemail to which I got a text from Melissa the next day, 12/19/23. She said they had mailed a check and asked me to confirm my address. I tested back immediately and gave her my full address and zip (which was the exact address of all the forms we signed and submitted to her. She replied they had sent a check to another zipcode and she would have to “contact accounting and have them stop payment then ask if a new check could be mailed to the correct address. This was 12/19/23. On 12/22/23 I texted and asked for an update (no reply). On 12/26/23 I texted again for an update and no reply. I am at my wits end. They are holding $1600 that belongs to me and playing stall games to hold my money as long as they possibly can. If you can do that with 50-100 clients at a time (some memberships selling for thousands more than mine) you can make a lot on interest!

    We hired Campground Membership Outlet to sell our Thousand Trails Membership in April 2023 per Thousand Trails Campground recommendation. We spoke with ******* who told us they have an 85% or higher success rate in selling memberships. She said that our membership is worth between $2000-$2500 and listed it for $2000. She said the buyers pay the $750 transfer fee upon purchase. We hired them and paid them $275.00. Since April, we have had no updates, calls or communication from them unless we initiated it. We leave messages on *******'s voicemail to get a call back. Sometimes she calls back and other times it takes additional calls to make contact. On July 28, 2023 when we spoke last, she said our membership needed to be lowered because it buyers who inquired didn't want it with the terms for making reservations because ours is not as many days out as other memberships. She recommended a price reduction to $1595 for a quicker sale. We agreed and have not heard from her since. We paid for a service to sell our membership which they have not done. They have not provided us with any communication regarding how they are marketing our membership for sale and they have not communicated to us any interested parties or offers.
