      The issue concerns my wife and her Legal consul ****************************Over the past few years she has been going through a personal injury case with obvious Dr ***** and a minor surgery.The complaint is around the ***** Orthopedic Surgeon center he recommended her to and that she went to, she initially went in to have her surgery performed they put her under and then they say their Equipment malfunctioned and she would have to come back. Well it just so happens they are charging the same amount for the actual surgery as they did when they didnt do anything and their equipment malfunctioned.Talking to her paralegal the woman says its because of the room they reserved which ok I get but the malfunctioning equipment wasnt my wifes fault so why should ******** the cost. For example purposes only if the surgery was $107k but the one where the equipment malfunctions is $105k why should that be her cost unfair.And I find it shady that its the Dr **************** recommended and they just so happened to have malfunctioning equipment to get another X dollar amount out of me.

      Back on 9/1/2023, I had called Morgan and Morgan re: injury involving a medication after seeing one of their ads. I explicitly asked if this case would drag out over years and if so, I would seek other representation. The ONLY reason I decided to use this law firm was because we were assured it would not only NOT take several years, it wouldnt even take several months, more likely several weeks. We were then given a phone number and told to call it in 3 weeks and would be given an update. Not only did we leave several messages, we emailed as well. We never received a return call. We filed several complaints with the complaint department and was assured someone would be reaching out to us. Never happened. We finally got an email in return and we were told we had been misinformed and it could take 5-7 YEARS. On top of all of that, we began getting requests to sign paperwork we had already signed twice before. We waited a few weeks and sent an additional email asking for an update. We still have had no response. Had we been told the truth upfront, we would have never used this firm.

      Morgan and Morgan took my case on (Case #********) on 01/08/2024 I had gotten into an accident on 01/04/2024 The accident occurred while i was standing still behind a school bus waiting for the children to exit and the Stop sign to be removed to continue driving. I was rea ended by a driver who was going approximately 60 mph. I was pushed into the vehicle in front of me and that vehicle was pushed into the bus. I suffered several facial fractures, concussion, contusions and hematomas on several parts of my body. The other driver was cited on site with careless driving citation and was found to be at fault. My vehicle was totaled. Morgan and Morgan took my case and initially assigned me a Lawyer and several case managers - I was mostly speaking to a case manager who was handling the injury portion of the claim. For 2 days I was asked to submit documents, photos of the injuries. I was advised to see doctors in ********* (*********** and a Spine and Joint specialist) with direct referral from Morgan and Morgan. I was still seeing the ENT whom I was referred to by the emergency room. After surgeries and several days of Pain and suffering, I could not reach anyone at Morgan and Morgan- several calls, messages and emails. Unable to contact anyone. Morgan and Morgan sent me to these facilities without knowing the Insurance policy details of the opponent, I now have additional medical bills and Morgan and Morgan dropped the case. I would not have driven over an hour to see these doctors whom Morgan and Morgan referred me to. When addressing this with my Case manager - I was rudely told - You will need to reach out to the attorney to discuss that. As if being in an accident is not enough stress and heartache - adding to my financial burden and being treated with lack of care and urgency has been awful. Again unable to reach anyone and not receiving a call back. I am still waiting for Morgan and Morgan to contact both insurances so I can continue with my claim.

      When Morgan and Morgan tells you they are for the PEOPLE, they are far from caring at all. They took the case and let me sit for two years without MUCH communication at all.My daughter is disabled and I called for help. They accepted us, received all information and I wasn't able to talk to anyone directly. I'd call; left a message and if you didn't answer when they called you couldn't call and talk directly to them. After TWO long years they and we discontinued business with them. TWO yearswith my daughter in and out of the hospital and the stress I endured had me shut down for 6 months emotionally.I'm fighting this myself to this day and accomplishing more then Morgan and Morgan (For The People), why I choose them, did in two years!

      After feeling like a nobody all my life, I turned to Morgan and Morgan due to a guy hitting me and totaling my new truck. I had a brain bleed and other injuries. The reason I hesitate to write a complaint every time I hear his commercials, it makes me angry and sick to hear the lies not to mention the disappointment. I NEVER spoke to an Attorney. The case worker just said that she was sorry. I was having more issues but I was informed that theres no more money and I felt pushed to close not happy with the amount that was never offered to me but told Im sorry theres no more moneyI asked the case worker several times if I could please have a print out of my medical bills that was paid. I wanted to make sure that everything was paid. I was told that they dont do that really ?Last month the collection agency called about two medical bills that Morgan and Morgan didnt pay. That is why I wanted the print out of what was paid. The collection department offered me a lower amount if I pay both bills now. I put the amount on my husbands credit card. Another reason Im angry ~ Ive been done wrong. Every time I called the corporate office to voice my frustration/complaint, they would transfer me to the case worker. Shame on you **** Morgan for allowing your firm to treat me like a nobody

      After reviewing this "complaint" I feel this complaint submission was not categorized properly. 
      This "complaint" reads more like a review, and I believe that's what this client was trying to submit. 
      There is no requested resolution listed. This case settled some time ago and the client received over 50k in pocket. 
      I've reviewed the communication history with through this "complaint", and it appears that she was just looking to vent/voice her concerns, which is fine, but this complaint outlet isnt the correct submission type for that. 

      I feel this submission should be marked resloved, because there is no complaint to resolve. This client just wants to vent/voice her concerns. 

      A review submission would have been a better outlet for the review she left , through this complaint channel.

      I hired Morgan and Morgan to help with my injuries I suffered as a passenger in July of last year. I nearly died and cant work from disabilities. My case was closed in September after coming to an agreement with the drivers insurance company. I havent gotten a single call back or response to any text or email. I have told them I was going to lose all my belongings if I dont get pay eventually. I was being very patient before having to make a complaint. Now here I am in January's **** still no response cant work still and I lost all my belongings and cant pay no bills. Ive been fighting homelessness. I just need a response just please. I cant keep going like this.

      I would like to provide further detail about this client's concern. His Attorney, **************, has discouraged ****************** from receiving a loan from the first instance this client began inquiring about it. We often discourage this because the interest rates for these pre-settlement loans are very high. His Attorney has attempted to explain this to ******************, and I was able to locate threatening emails sent 10/24/23 this client had been sending his case staff. These emails are attached. I have also included some emails from a conversation he had with his Attorney on 7/19/23.

      Because this client signed the loan documents agreeing to the interest rates and also signed his closing statement which breaks down how much we would be paying from his settlement to not only us, his law firm, but also to the loan company he barrowed money from, we ask that this complaint be closed. These documents are legally binding and there is nothing we would legally be able to pursue to appease his discontent. It is unfortunate the client is unhappy with settlement in hindsight, but once these documents are signed the client is accepting these conditions. Both documents for his loan and his settlement agreement clearly break down the costs and charges associated with each.

      I understand that you have concern that something had gone amiss with your funds. I looked into your file and see you had incurred a loan from ***************** during the lifespan of your case. I understand you have concern about the funds being stolen due to not being able to account for it. Any and all pre-settlement loans incur quite a large percentage of interest. This was included in your closing statement. I am attaching both of your closing statements for your review. I am also attaching a message from your Attorney that had advised against this loan that was sent in July 2023.

      These fees you mention are costs we paid on your behalf that were required in order to achieve the settlement on your case. In your closing statement, which is signed by you, it explicitly describes that we reserve the right to settle these amounts. This is a legally binding document and it is not possible to reimburse the amounts you are disputing. 

      I thoroughly looked into your file and specifically focused on the funds involved in your case to ensure everything lined up. I can provide you the utmost assurance that every single ***** has been accounted for and follows the correct procedure. The fees and costs are things every single case incurs during its lifespan and your team did not charge anything that did not have a reasonable and justifiable backing.

      April 24,2022 have a W.C. case hurt at ********** broken left foot. Told them I wanted the billing info but did not receive. Held my money saying I owe child support. I solved in court Nov. ,25 2023 got half my money and owe ****** and will not return calls. Want the interest I would of made. Told me secretary quit and my first lawyer quit and charged me . Second lawyer also charged me for no help. Very disappointed. Don't know what I was charged or for what. I call them alot. I contacted the channel 9 news for any help. They are illegally holding my money.

      It's crucial to understand that work injury claims, unlike traditional personal injury cases, are subject to the decisions of the courts and judges overseeing the case. At the time of your settlement, state records indicated an outstanding Child Support obligation, which has unfortunately caused a delay in disbursing your funds.

      Legally, we are bound by court orders, and we are unable to release any funds without the proper approval.       I was at their office 2 days before my court date and it was settled nov.25. ** court date was postponed once because of hurricane and I was not explained to about it getting taken by the court. I have sent email and called and just talked to someone in Jan. ** Equifax report showed a zero balance since 2017. ** second lawyer cause my first lawyer quit charge me again for his fees but nothing was done that me and the first lawyer were doing at the time.

      I requested for my medical bills for all dates of service from July 1, 2023 through December 31, 2023, to be sent to my medical insurance company (Anthem MediBlue Plus HMO) since I am covered and the medical providers are in-network. Unfortunately, Morgan & Morgan **, PLLC are refusing to reverse any direct payments they made to my medical providers so that medical insurance can receive a claim for my medical bills.

      Hello BBB,I do not understand why Morgan & Morgan group lawyers are not able to defend me in all conditions? Even in a worst scenario they should be able to defend their clients. I am so upset about this.
