      I had a car accident back in Jan 2022 I was injured with back problems.i had several procedures to try and fix .was out of work like 6 months . finally got a settlement but I needed medical records to go to another pain management .and called for my records and the Dr bill was never paid .I went to blue ridge pain management and pavilion spine center Atlanta.well as of now the Dr bill still hasn't been paid and no medical records at all.i made more then several attempts to get in touch with Steven f*** at Morgan n Morgan .he always says I'll take care of this .and here I am still in back pain and no medical records to go anywhere else .this should be criminal charges of some sort filed on Morgan n Morgan for pain and suffering .and this has got to be one of the worse firms I ever seen .if I had to use them again I wouldn't at all .I even filed a bar complaint called the phone for victim Assistance also please help ******* ****

      Morgan & Morgan was the law firm in charge of the ******** data breach. I just received a settlement check with a detailed 1099. The details show that the original amount of my settlement was reduced by 35% for attorney fees and a $4 amount for add'l fees.

      Their attorney fees should have been paid directly from ********* Claimants should not be individually charged and ultimately taxed on amounts we did not receive.

      This practice is deceptive and should not be allowed. They need to issue the entire amount listed on the 1099, or retract the 1099 with the IRS because the amount of the check was for less than $600.

      I want a detailed report of the payouts from the settlement administrator to see this in writing for myself. I have received settlements from class actions for YEARS, some more than this one (especially after JP Morgan stole my house) and I have never seen claimants charged individually for attorney fees.

      On Tuesday, May 2, 2023, I called Morgan & Morgan hoping to have a free consultation with an attorney about an issue. A gentleman named Gabriel answered the call and began asking me detailed questions about the issue. I assumed I was speaking with an attorney. Gabriel then put the call on hold and returned saying an attorney would like to take my case and I needed to sign off on a retainer. I never asked anyone to take my case, I was looking for a consultation. I told Gabriel that I wasn't looking to retain anyone and told Gabriel to forget it, I didn't want to go any further. I was assured all the information I shared would go no further and would not be shared with anyone. The next day I received three calls from Morgan & Morgan that I ignored. On Thursday, May 4th, I answered the 8:37AM EST call and told the person on the line to quit calling me, I was not interested. Every day since I get three calls a day from Morgan & Morgan, either a robo-call or a person attempting to call. I have advised Morgan & Morgan twice that I was not interested in their services. These calls are harassing and start first thing in the morning before 9:00AM EST and have been as late in the evening as after 8:00PM EST. The firm needs to cease their attempts to contact me and purge my information from their database. I can provide phone logs showing the attempts to contact me.

      I contacted M&M in August 2022 regarding a car accident that hapoened on 7/25/2022 and explained to them what happened and provided the information needed to Brett B. After medication, physical therapy and a neck injection ; I was ended up having surgery which now leaves me with a plate and 6 screws in my neck and nerve damage in my left side of my nerve and down my left arm. I reach out to Brett B. Who does not answer emails or phones as they settled my case with the insurance company of the driver who hit me for $15.000 and my surgery was close to $60,000 along with other medical bills for MRIs and X-rays and a lien from my medical insurance because they were under the impression I was getting a larger settlement plus I have been out of work from 7/29/2022 until 4/2/2023 and this settlement doesn’t cover my medical bills nor my loss of wages. . I reached out to Brett B.(case manager) Eli (attorney) then switched to Michael (attorney)regarding my disappointment of their handling the case via email and in the M&M app because what I said wasn’t liked, they have now made it where I cannot journal nor sent messages and I sent an e-mail directly to Brett B. regarding the status and as usual no response .I checked the M&M app and all James were removed . I have not ever done business with anyone that just doesn’t respond and I’m really confused. They say they are for the people and that is not true because law firm just settles and not fight for their clients? I’m very disappointed with them and all I want is whatever monies that’s coming to me be given and the sad thing is with the surgery I had to have, it takes a year a more to see if it takes yet the settlement is where no matter what the future may entail or pain and suffering I endure even now matters to them as we all know insurance companies want to pay the least possible. I would not ever seek them again for representation nor refer anyone to them because they are not for the people.

      On November 5, 2019, as I was walking on the side walk of ****** *****, and I tripped and fell hitting my head, right shoulder, ruptured my lip, the right side of my neck, right hand and my left knee when I hit the concrete side walk. When I was able to get up since my right shoulder was hurting and I couldn't use it and I am right handed, I noticed that the side walk was uneven and it caused me to tripped and fall. I am providing this information so that you can understand how I became a client of Morgan & Morgan. I was first dealing with Attorney A*** C**** in Daytona Beach and he represented me for approximately over 2 years and then one day, I receive a call from a legal assistant named Evelyn R**** to inform me that my case was reassigned to another lawyer named Christina B*****, and I was in shock because we were scheduled to go to court on December of 2022, and Evelyn is asking me for my file, pictures, x-rays, and I informed her that Attorney C*****s assistant had everything to include email messages responses, medical invoices, my entire file that I was keeping I hand delivered it to Jessica L** and she never responded to my calls or email messages. The issue now is that attorney Christina B***** provided poor representation and sends me a General Release of ALL Claims for me to sign forcing me to accept a settlement of $25,000 and if I didn't accept the settlement the other option was she will no longer represent me. In addition, she allowed the Defense Attorney to file a Motion of Fraud when I had provided all my medical injuries to Attorney Adam C**** and she wouldn't do anything for me. I signed the settlement document on January 9th, 2023, and now she doesn't have time to send me anything because her and her assistant Rubio are too busy dealing with new law suits and my settlement was pushed to the bottom of their list. The new cases have priority now! I am very displeased with their representation that I received and I am asking for your help.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********* and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

      Please be advised that the utmost importance when I filed the complaint with Morgan and Morgan was not to receive a settlement, it was the fact that I got injured due to the negligence of the City of Deltona and they were liable for my injuries.  As I mentioned before, for The City of Deltona not fixing the sidewalks where I tripped and fell for more than 10 years.  The only reason why I filed the lawsuit with Morgan and Morgan was to insure that this unfortunate incident doesn't happen to another person and in the event additional symptoms would appear in the future to use the settlement for additional medical expenses and/or therapy.  I am not pleased with the legal representation at all since I was informed that any lawsuits against the City of Deltona the attorneys cannot charge more than 25% and in my case Morgan and Morgan utmost importance was to pocket most of the proceeds ($25,000) when I was the victim here and I was assured that I had a very good case by attorney Adam C**** and then he drops me like a hot potato not even having the consideration of picking up the phone to let me know he was no longer representing me after 2 1/2 years. I provided them with all the documents needed for this case, and I am being charged for the copies, and extra expenses they incurred according to the Closing Statement provided (LESS COSTS), and if you add the attorney's fees (25%), plus LESS COSTS of $5,465.69, plus the LIENS fees (The ******* Company) that according to Ms. Kelsey A**** was the company that they hired to ensure that all the outstanding medical bills were negotiated and accounted for, for the amount of $4,970.74, and at this point I don't even know if they actually hired this ******* Company when they want me to be responsible for any overlooked bills that Morgan and Morgan and The ******* Company missed and they will receive close to $5,000 for their service.  Therefore, with this being said, I hope you can understand why I DON'T want to be responsible for anything else at this point and I am glad that this nightmare is OVER.

      Last year I hired Morgan and Morgan to resolve an injury claim the resulted from a car accident that took place on 4/18/22. M&M withheld $2600 in addition to their service fee in case Medicare or ****** Healthcare claimed reimbursement beyond the cost already submitted.
      In September of 2022 I received a letter from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) requesting me to reimburse them $4665.13 because they were under the impression I received the entirety of $25000 settlement. I contacted Milly S********, my contact person at M&M and informed her that the government wasn't aware of my settlement attorney fees and miscellaneous withholding and was requesting that I reimburse them. I thought Ms S******** would inform the government so that the whole thing would go away. Two weeks later I received another letter from CMS stating that I had 30 days to submit $4665.13 to them or face garnishment of my Social Security benefits till the entire amount was paid, plus applicable taxes.
      I immediately wrote CMS detailing the specifics of my settlement, including attorney fees, postage, shipping, records costs, and interest expenses. Within two weeks I received another letter from CMS absolving me of previously requested reimbursements. I notifies Ms S******** of the letter and she requested I scan and email it to her. I also let her know that I was upset because M&M could have nipped this in the bud by supplying the info to CMS themselves, isn't that their job? Aren't they supposed to be the professionals?
      At that time I requested the remainder of my settlement. They gave $1500 withheld for Medicare, but withheld $1100 for ****** Healthcare. I have called several times, left several texts and even tried to contact Ms S********'s supervisor. Crickets! M&M originally stated that I would receive the funds held in trust within 30 days after settlement. It's been over six months. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

      I reached out to Morgan and Morgan after I was involved in a car wreck where I was hit by a SEMI truck in Northern VA the week of Thanksgiving. I have received nothing but run around since then with no one willing to talk to me and getting certified letters that they are cancelling the case because they can't reach us. I have been constantly call and trying to talk to the attorney assigned and gotten no response. Today 3/06/23 I received notice from Morgan and Morgan via a phone call that they were no longer going to pursue the case because the medical claim was not significant enough for them, I told them that I have been trying to reach my attorney to no avail and when I told them who it was I was told that they are no longer with the company - which would have been nice to know since i have notified them that the policy report is incorrect and I needed to know what to do about it.
      Mr. Morgan makes guarantees on his commercials and I see that they are false and he does not live up to them. I am not a happy with the treatment I have received nor the run around because I am not hundreds of thousands of $$ - this was a multi vehicle accident that I needed help with.

      Back in 2022, Two separate car's crashed into me on the same day. My lower part of body was hurt, only insurance was from first accident. Second hit individual didn't show correct insurance and Morgan and Morgan decided to not pursue it. Bottom line is 10k for pip (medical) 10k (personal) . 2 weeks ago M&M said they settled it how ever out of 10k personal they (settled)? 2 medical 1000 and 1500. I Disputed this with M&M as I was proactive about medical expenditures and asked on 3 separate occasions with therapist and Ranses G***** from Morgan and Morgan.
      Never once did he say that insurance companies only pay 80% of bill. I questioned him trying to understand the process it was never explained to me. I'm Disputing this settlement and have declined to settle and wish for details from M&M about the total bills . As of a week now Morgan and Morgan have refused my calls and have not provided me with documents that I have requested.

      I was represented by Morgan & Morgan on a personal injury case. After settlement, I was told by Morgan & Morgan the Veterans Affairs filed a lien on my settlement claim in the amount of $9000.00 (even after I have shown them a copy of email correspondence from the VA that they will not file a lien prior to the settlement). Nevertheless, I did instruct Morgan to pay the lien from the escrow account which was established to pay off unpaid medical bills (I was told during deposition there was $25,000.00 in the escrow account). My expectation was that the remaining balance after paying off the VA to be released to me.

      Since August 2022 there was no activities from Morgan & Morgan so I reached out to Morgan in January 2023 and was advised basically the same information that was provided to me back in August 2022. Since there was no follow up, I wrote to their leadership and as expected, the same disappointing result (no replies).

      I went to Morgan and Morgan website (January 25th 2023) to see if I was eligible for a lawsuit. The website states that you can get a free evaluation. But instead I get calls with automated messages continuously throughout every day. And despite blocking their calls somehow they are still able to get through and leave an automated message. I'm sick of it. And I want it to stop. Thank you

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

      Although you didn't say when this would be implemented. As I got many suspect calls today. If I continue to receive calls, I'm afraid we will be right back where we started.
