I am writing to you because of the very unethical and bad experience my husband and I had at Rooms to Go, ******** Store on Saturday. Upon arrival we were greeted by *********************************. We told him we saw on tv that they were having a mattress promotion for a free adjustable base with the purchase of a mattress. He asked us what size when we told him Split King he said he didn't think the promotion applied but after checking he said it did. I told him if the free base did not apply that would be a deal breaker for us . After viewing several mattresses we settled on one and he proceeded to set up the order. We told him we wanted the leg lift on the base and he said that would be an easy upcharge to the free base and we said ok. He told us the frame had a 7 year warranty only to find out later he charged us $198 for the extended warranty which he failed to mention just adding it to the bill. The next day when I was on the website looking for the depth of the mattress so I could order sheets for it did I find out the following. The **** Whexley Mattress was on the website for $2194 without a base or foundation. When you clicked the option for the **** RTG Sleep 3100 base that ********* added to our order the amount jumped to $3200 which is what we were charged. So in effect we did not received a free base. If the free base allotted was $700 and the one he added to the order was $998 why were we not just charged the difference for the upgraded base. He never told us about the warranty charge nor did he tell us we were paying full price for the frame. It was all hidden in the sales receipt. Knowing this information we would have not placed the sale. I went into the store today to speak with ********* and he acted like he knew nothing about a free base offer. He took me back to the offices told me to wait here and after 10 minutes came out of an office and told me all he could do was replace the frame we chose for the free option or a box spring.Rooms To Go

Several weeks ago I paid cash for furniture and the furniture is delivered on March 13th 2024. When the furniture was delivered it was falling apart. I told the delivery guys I didn't want it and they told me know that someone would come and fix it and I told them I don't want fix furniture I paid cash for brand new furniture. After jumping through hoops and talking to 20 people someone finally able to help me and schedule an exchange. On Saturday March 23rd 2024 the exchange of the furniture came and that too was falling apart very poorly made. I'm taking time off for these furniture deliveries and here again they're going to deliver on April 2nd 2024 the 3rd set of furniture. No one apologizing for my inconvenience or even offering a simple credit. This will be my first and last time buying from rooms to GoRooms To Go

You all can come get the furniture and the lamps that I have not used either because I have no tables to put them on. They are not due to come until April 26th. Place order for a media console and some other items. received media console a day ahead of schedule and left outside while i was home. I brought in after seeing box outside and opened box later in evening. Found box to be previously opened where it looks like a returned product. Missing structural parts and can not build. I have a special needs child who will be at my home and I can not leave this box or parts out and need immediate resolve or return. I reached out to customer service via chat and per phone and was told this is a special order product that requires me to connect with special orders department (who are closed) and be approved by manufacturer. I had good experience before with other product and did not have an issue. This is disappointing, an inconvenience, and shows lack of ownership to provide a reasonable level of customer service. I am willing to drive to retail to return or exchange, however am told can not do that. Can I simply pick up another unit or be provided a refund where I can shop at another retailer? As a customer, I hold ********************** accountable as I made a purchase with Rooms To Go. If deflection of ownership is to be excuse for issues, a reasonable expectation would be to provide the initial information prior to order with something to the respect of "Order is placed via third party and hold harmless of order integrity" however per my order, this is not the case and my receipt states Rooms To Go as the merchant. Another week is going by with no update, email, shipper tracking, etc. has occurred except one phone call from Rooms To Go stating vendor is to contact me. Please take ownership, ensure missing part is delivered this week, alternative unit of my choosing provided in local retail, or provide monies of costs of product order plus whatever means to return unit.Review fromPEDRO M

I bought a living room set from rooms to go. Ive been having problem with the sewings coming off on the sofa and the loveseat They came to my house couple times to fix it they could not fix it. It kept getting worse I called today and they say the warranty is out that I have to call to the protection plan company I have extended warranty I call this company and they told me the sewing coming off is not covered under the protection plan which I think is BS be carefully when you buy extended warranty from rooms to go as me and my whole family never buy from them againRooms To Go

I am truely disappointed in Rooms To Go. I have purchased 2 living rooms, 2 dining rooms, 2 beds, 2 mattresses, 3 occasional tables, and 4 barstools since 2017. On the last sofa I purchased in November of 2021, the frame broke before the warranty ended but because it is under the sofa I did not notice until two months after the warranty expired while I was moving the furniture. I called the customer service number not asking for the warranty to be honored but asking for some assistance in finding someone to repair it at my expense. They refused to help me. After a year of trying to find someone to come out to my home, the only repair option includes me transporting the sofa to and from plus the cost of repair. That does not make sense for a $700 sofa. I went to the store and spoke to a manager (Beverly) to see is they would discount a new sofa (same model) so I could just replace it. She refused and recommended I shop the aniversarary sale. So now I am going to replace both sofas (the broken sofa and the matching one) but it won't be from Rooms To Go. You have lost all of my future business. So far just bad. I was expecting company this past weekend. I received my sectional last Tuesday (4 days before guests). The legs were missing and I have been told every day since that they are being over-nighted. Still no sign of the missing parts and had to cancel my weekend plans at my home. It's bad enough that I said I'd never trust this company again. Now I know better.Rooms To Go

I placed an order for a bedroom set that cost about $3500 on February 7th in St.Pete, FL. I told them that I was moving to Texas and need it to be delivered to my new address on February 24. My payment went through, and management noted the delivery date. The day before delivery, I was supposed to get a text with a 4 hour window, but I did not. Early morning on the 24th, I called them myself and they said that there was a verification issue. I asked why I wasn't contacted and they said that they did not know. Three weeks went by with no notification. They pulled my delivery date and then I had to take time off of work to get my furniture before going out of town. Then I called and asked for a refund on the delivery fee for all of the hassle and they refused even though I was told before that I could call back after the delivery was made and they would take care of me. This is two failures on the business' part to ensure the customer was taken care of. No one reached out to ensure the verification went through to keep the original delivery date and no one annotated on the account that I was supposed to get a refund so now they refuse.Rooms To Go

I’m still paying for an expensive sofa bed Model: Gisella. OMG! the bed is so uncomfortable! My back is in pain all the time I sleep on it. I’m sooo disappointed. The seller told me it was the best sofa bed and even make me buy a kind of rug to put under the mattress but the base of the sleeper is just a fabric with two pairs of crossed wires. It’s unbelievable in a sofa that costs almost 3k.Rooms To Go

I purchased a sectional sofa from the Rooms to Go in August 2023 with order number #12043365 for $3000. sofa cushions started to shrink just after a couple of months and we raised a complaint regarding it. In response to the complaint representative came to our house and checked the sofa and mentioned that the sofa was missing some springs and the cushion was not properly placed. that was the report that he mentioned that he would report back to Rooms to Go, after two days of his visit to our home for the inspection we received a call from Rooms to Go saying that our sofa was in good shape and nothing was there to replace or work, which made us so shocked as we were told it was a defective piece from Rooms to Go and it has to be replaced. My wife is pregnant and she is having back pain sitting on that sofa, buying it for $3000 and my wife having pain sitting on it is a lot of concern for me. No one from Rooms to Go is showing concern about the money we spent and even the representative spoke to me so rude and never transferred the call to the manager. I request please address this issue as it's a defective piece that we received and it's so hard to sit on the sofa. All we are asking is for someone from Rooms to Go come and replace it with a new one or at least fix this one. I hope at least your team will help us with this situationRooms To Go
