      September 2022 timeframe I ordered a sleeper sofa from Rooms to Go. However, I didn’t want either of the two mattresses offered - I wanted to save money and buy something better. Additionally, I was told the sleeper sofa automatically comes with a mattress of their two options and I could not purchase the sofa without selecting one. The sealy mattress was cheaper than the gel so I chose the cheaper one of the two. I called the administration office PCB, FL prior to delivery in hopes of achieving rational/ mutual agreement in customer rights on options with what works better for me. I was told it would cost me more to have it delivered without the mattress than with. How does less material cost more in this situation? False advertisement with 0% for 5 years. You have to pay it off in a year so it truly doesn’t come back with more interest being paid. Holiday sales basically stay the same with prices. Flexibility with changing out furniture pieces with package deals simply is difficult. Manipulation versus common sense is insulting.

      On behalf of Rooms To Go, please express our apologies to our customer for any misunderstandings or inconvenience they may have experienced with their purchase from 8.24.22.

      Unfortunately, please note that most retailers sell sleepers they carry with a mattress as part of the purchase. We offered 2 different mattress options for our customers to pick from. It is absolutely up the consumer if they wish to continue with the purchase or not at the price point presented at the point of sale. According to our buyers, we do not offer sleepers without mattresses.

      As far as financing promotions,the information is available at the point of sale, online and on promotional fliers for our customers convenience.

      I bought a chair in rooms to go and the seller told me to place additional or extended warranty, but Forward the chairs have a problem where I notified and they sent a technician to review them and agreed that the chairs have a problem and should be changed, and then rooms to go notifies me that they will not make any changes, Because it is not in the guarantee, I explain that I have an additional and extended guarantee which I pay but they say no. So my experience with them is horrible and I don't recommend them.I do not recommended.

      Purchased a couch and was delivered with a stain. Couch was replaced with a new piece but when it was delivered there was a 5-6in gap on the left side of the pullout trundle compared to the 1in gap on the opposite side. We had two different techs come out and both said that didn’t look right but then rooms to go would call me and tell me oh that is within manufactures specs. So they are now refusing to replace it even though our original couch didn’t have that huge gap. Which is a huge safety risk for anyone sleeping on the pull out couch or if my child are climbing on it to sit down. The supervisor Kim W******* from the FL service dept was not helpful or listened to my concerns and would only offer me a new selection but we just wanted the couch we pick out to not have a quality issue. She liked to talk over me and put words in my mouth. She said I would have to pay for another delivery charge to have a new selection delivered. She also down played my safety concerns asking who would be responsible if my child from their leg or twisted their ankle. She indicated that was my responsibility even though I expressed these safety risk if this is truly the manufacturer specks to be off by 4-5in on one side compared to the other. This was/is completely unacceptable. We have yet to have a couch we are satisfied with and paid almost 4k for this couch. Very not customer friendly business. We just want the couch we pick out that is not defective or stained. That is all we have asked as a customer. We you pay this much for a product you should not have this many issues and then be asked to pay more to replace if with something you don’t want. I would also suggest Kim be provided additional training in customer service instead of talking over customers and putting words in my mouth. Very upset and will be leaving additional review on social media about our experience.

      Horrible customer service !!! Poor quality table !! Table peeling after a few months!!! Do not buy from rooms to go !!! I purchased a dining table a few months ago and table started peeling. This isn’t the first . It is the 3rd !! The first two were replaced and decided to go with a different model thinking it would be better . We were so wrong !!!! Looks even worse!! I’m actually embarrassed how bad it looks . If nothing is done I will probably end up throwing it away in the garbage where it belongs. Unfortunately, my experience has fallen far short of these expectations, and I must express my deep dissatisfaction. I kindly request that you address this issue promptly by either replacing the table with a new one that meets the expected quality standards or providing a suitable solution that rectifies the problem. I believe that such a gesture would not only demonstrate Rooms To Go commitment to customer satisfaction but also restore my faith in your brand. If this issue remains unresolved, I feel compelled to share my experience with friends, family, and the broader community through online reviews and social media. I genuinely hope it doesnt come to that, as I believe Rooms To Go can do better in terms of both product quality and customer service. In conclusion, I implore you to take immediate action to resolve this matter and ensure that Rooms To Go maintains its reputation for providing quality furniture and exceptional customer service. I look forward to a prompt and satisfactory resolution to this issue.

      We are in receipt of this review.

      In regards to our customers situation, we have reviewed their account, the technicians findings and the pictures taken at the service in its entirety. It was deemed that the issues with the dining table are consequential damage. This is not covered under warranty. We also reviewed the issues with the formal dining table set. It is from a different vendor. We also show the issues were not the same.

      Please understand we offer a 1-year warranty against manufacturers defects as stated on the Terms and Conditions of Sale located on their sales receipt. They also purchased the extended service plan powered by Fortegra;however, this only starts coverage after the 1-year for vendor related issues. Our records reflect the furniture was delivered on 9.2.22. Since the receipt of the merchandise, we have no verbal or written communication regarding any issue until 6.01.23.

      Although we value their business and sympathize with their concerns, we apologize no course of action could be provided due to the reasons explained above.

      My entire experience with this location has been a nightmare. But I will skip to the end, fourth visit to the store. I purchased a bedroom set. The bed frame was delivered. The chest and the mirror were delivered but the dresser is on backorder. First until August, then September now until October. Due to horrible customer service I received previously, I simply went to the store to cancel the dresser. However, the representative said she spoke with her boss and he has agreed to allow me to cancel my order. Then she states I can bring back the mirror also without penalty. I drive home, loaded the mirror and returned to the store within 30 minutes! Now I was being told I can not return the mirror and the manager is doing me a favor by allowing me to cancel my purchase without a 20% restocking fee. He stated it is company policy if an item is on backorder, in order for me to receive full credit, I must reselect from the store. He mentioned at nauseum, how he was going beyond to allow me to cancel my order. That was the last straw. First, all employees should be trained on company policy! Second, why is the consumer being penalized for backordered items? And third, what restocking fee?! There should be a company policy that limits the wait on backordered items!!!

      My Rooms to Go experience has been horrible to say the least. We had a delivery on 8/15/23 for a bed that included delivery and installation. On 8/15/23 when the bed was delivered one member of the delivery team informed us that they weren't provided screws to install the bed and that WE need to call RTG to inform THEM that they were missing. Upon calling, they informed us that they would have them sent to us overnight and once we received them, to contact THEM to and they would THEN schedule someone to come back out. On 8/16/23 we still had not received our screws & according to its tracking, only the label had been created. We called back & talked to a young lady who told us to just keep watching the tracking. At that point we hadn’t been able to sleep in the bed we paid for bc of this inconvenience. We asked to speak with a manager. We spoke with a manager named CARLOS. Carlos IMMEDIATELY got on the phone being incredibly rude & the complete opposite of what ANY customer service representative should be. He told us that we could still sleep on the bed (WITHOUT the screws) and we told him we could NOT. He then says that we should just go to a hardware store and ask them, even though WE PAID FOR THIS SERVICE. He told us that the screws were on the way. When we asked if he knew the location of the screws he said "I don't know. I dont work for USPS." We then asked if we could speak with someone else. He said No & HUNG UP ON US! We called back & spoke with someone else. She was able to give us a $100 credit bc of the inconvenience & told us the screws should be delivered on 8/17/23. We called to let them know that they had been delivered and they said they would send someone out (again) on 8/22/23. The character limitations won’t allow me to say the full current situation but today (8-28) is now 13 days of us NOT BEING ABLE TO SLEEP IN A BED WE PAID FOR TO BE DELIVERED AND INSTALLED. We've spoken with so many people yet NOTHING about this situation has been rectified.

      As we are concerned by the allegations expressed in their statement, we will be reviewing with the corresponding delivery company and our customer care management team as we do not condone any lack of professionalism by any of our associates and/or affiliates. We will address any issues as deemed necessary. Unfortunately, any information acquired is privileged and confidential and would not be released to the public but will be used to ensure a similar situation does not transpire in the future.

      With respect to their situation, we have been made aware the hardware was received and a service was sent to the home. The findings show the bed has been assembled. Furthermore, an accommodation has been offered and put through for the customer as well.

      If I could I would give 0 starts. Every time that I had to deal with them was a nightmare. the insurance was a joke, I never got what they promised. the delivered was super late and missing parts and the list goes on and on...NEVER buying there again.

      Good in-store experience but poor Delivery Services. Despite request for accommodations for delivery, first attempt was missed. Second delivery successful. However, in store, I was informed of White Glove service and furniture would be set up. I purchased sofa and loveseat recliner in Aug 2023. All they had to do was plug it in to ensure it worked and they didn’t even do that. Told my Uncle they were too busy and didn’t have the time. Shame on the delivery staff! Poor experience. I won’t be purchasing anymore furniture for RTG. Prefere to pay more to ensure quality customer service!! It matters. With so many poor ratings around the same thing, RTG should consider training staff on Customer Service because a happy customer is a lifelong consumer!

      I purchased two power recliners. First one had a small cut in the fabric. When I contacted Rooms to go they said they would bring another one out. Two days later they called to say this recliner has been discontinued. They offered me 10% refund, I insisted on 20%. They agreed, but I would have to wave the 1 year warranty.. Okay no problem since I bought the extended warranty because of the mechanical parts. One year and 3 months later one of the arms caved in. The reason was because it was nothing but cardboard. They came out to fix, but I had to tell the tech how to do it. NEVER will I buy anything from cheap made Rooms to go. I then asked tech since he was out would he go ahead and do preventative repair to the other 3 arms. He said he couldnt because work order was for one. I did preventative repair myself which took about 30 minutes. I wish I could add photo of damaged cardboard arm, simply unbelievable!! Rooms To Go is nothing but TRASH. I wrote a review on the text they sent and said I would like to talk to someone. NEVER got a CALL. I was forced to give a star rating, there were NO NEGATIVE selections. STAY AWAY FROM ROOMS TO GO

      Our office has received this review.

      Rooms To Go offers a 1-year warranty for manufacturers defects as stated on the terms located on their purchase receipt. Thiers would have expired on 5.25.23; however, a keep as-is option to discount the piece was agreed upon thereby voiding said warranty. Our customer purchased the extended service plan powered by Fortegra. This starts coverage for manufacturers defects after the 1-year expiration. Their guidelines are clearly outlined under the website referenced on said invoice.

      Since the execution of the keep as-is agreement, we have no record of any verbal or written communication regarding any issues. Any service approval or course of action is under the purview of Fortegras contract. The technicians finding show that only 1 arm had an issue and was repaired on that visit.Please note that RTG is solely the retailer. Services are possible under the terms of the warranty. Regrettably, we are also not a repair company. In view of this, we do not offer preventative repairs.

      RTG has the worst customer service. Multiple mistakes with my orders. Spending 5k is no small chunk of change. I ordered two bedroom sets and twice they were damaged. Finally ordered another bedroom set and after getting them the mirror was to big for the room. They took it back and have me a credit. Got my bill and noticed they charged me *****. Called several times and nobody seemed to know what they were talking about. A manager called me back after several complaints and I was told that because I returned the mirror I broke up the set so they charged me the extra ***** even though I ordered a extra end table and paid ****** for that . So for that ***** dollars they lost a customer for good. I need to order more ******************** but it will not be from rooms to go. Never again!! Beware as they don't have stock either
