They sent a defective product and then lied to us about revised delivery date to be within 3 days (then they said a week, we obliged) but no confirmation as sent. when we called got to know they have not even kept that date promised and pushed it away. They basically lied to us so that we send back the product. otherwise our option was to keep it until replaced. I reached out to managers and customer services multiple times even Live chats etc etc before coming here. They still are not delivering on the day promised! Horrible Horrible. Dont buy anything here!Rooms To Go

This is in response to our customers review.
Please express our apologies to our customer for any inconvenience they may have experienced.
With respect to their situation, we have reviewed the account in its entirety. Regrettably, their unit was damaged upon delivery. The customer was given the option to keep it and wait for replacement or refuse it and wait for a redelivery. They chose the latter. Unfortunately, the delivery company only goes out to their area 1 day a week as it is a remote area. In view of this, the 1st available date on the calendar was 9.21.23. Our customer was advised that an add on request would be made for a sooner date but that the delivery was scheduled for the above stated. Due to heavy volume the earliest that could be accommodated was 8.24.23. The customer has been informed of this. As a gesture of good will, a refund of $50 was offered as an accommodation. They accepted.

The Rooms to Go is LYING (plain lies and highly twisted truth). When the delivery was here we asked whats the new date would be, and answer was 17th. We said OK and sent back the damaged product. I didn't get any notification on updated date, and hence I called the ** again. That is when I was let know that the date was 24th!! Since i said i was told as 17th, a request was submitted by the **** Serv rep. I requested to send me an email confirmation which again was NOT sent. I (myself, not initiated by them) also requested if delivery fee can be reduced a they had collected a ridiculous 220$ (BTW- delivery is for DC metro area, not remote like they have said). They gave me $50; again, this was NOT to accomodate 24th date but the defective delivery. Since i got no email confirmation for either 24th del date or 17th, and NO REPLIES by managers on my emails, I contacted **** Serv again!! I mentioned that i have to go to BBB and finally I saw an email for DD 24th. NO ONE reached out to me either through email or through phone for change in DD to 24th! My vocal confirmation was 17th ONLY. NO one even cared to even explain why it has to be 24th either. In fact a week made no difference to us, but the way they conducted (or not conducted) themselves and are still conducting by lying outrightly in their response is certainly concerning and hence this review!!!Review fromAna R

I was a loyal customer. For years I have purchased many ******************** for my past home and present home. My apartment is full of your furniture and I also bought furniture from you for my rental property. I had my parents buy furniture from you as well as others that I have recommended. I won't be able to recommend any longer. I don't want anyone coming back to me and tell me they had a problem with you furniture. What happened was that when I was remodeling my apartment I bought the ********************** Reclining Sofa in aqua in late 2021 but did not receive it until early 2022 because of the renovation. In a year I noticed a rip on the side of the seat. The reason I noticed it was because it was pinching my thigh. I have no idea how it happened. I know that the side of the seat is not leather but imitation/Boltaflex. Many years ago I had a sofa that lasted for years and was completely made of Boltaflex. I never had any rips whatsoever. I had purchased the insurance that you offered so I called them. To make a long story short, someone did come to inspect and took pictures but by then more rips appeared. After several weeks, I called them because I have not heard any response. They responded by saying basically they could not do anything for me because it was a defect which is not covered. If I had used a knife and accidentally cut it then that is covered. They then told me to call Rooms to go to see if they can do something for me. So I did and at the end of the conversation they also said that there is nothing they can d for me. So basically I purchased the insurance for nothing.In your website it states that cuts and rips would be covered. My mother who bought the same sofa years earlier to this day is still in perfect condition.Your quality is down.Now I have this beautiful sofa full of rips on each side of all the seats pinching me when I sit. As a result, I am now afraid of buying anything from you thinking that it would only last me a year.Rooms To Go

On behalf of Rooms To Go, please express our apologies to our customer for any inconveniences or misunderstandings experienced.
Rooms To Go offers a 1-year warranty for manufacturer’s defects and workmanship as stated on their purchase receipt. Theirs expired as of 3.09.22. They purchased the extended service plan powered by Fortegra. The guidelines of what is covered/ not covered is clearly outlined under the website referenced on said invoice. Since delivery, we show no record or any verbal or written communication regarding any issues of this nature until 12.21.22. Fortegra approved service and the technician was sent out. It was deemed the leather was not tearing it is cracking. This is not a vendor related issue nor the many areas considered accidental. For this reason, Fortegra denied their claim.
However, our records reflect that our customer was given information to send pictures to our online claim office for review. We show that department requested the customer send overall pictures 8-months ago in January. Our records do not reflect anything has been sent to date.
The customer is welcome to send clear pictures of all the matching leather living room pieces for review. They will need to see front, back and lateral views not just close ups. They may send it directly to [email protected].

We are in receipt of this claim.
On behalf of Rooms To Go, please express our apologies to our customer for any inconvenience they may have experienced.
Due to heavy volume, all deliveries are routed by zip codes in order to reach all scheduled customers. Because this is done automatically via electronic routing, we have no control over the timeframe and therefore inform customers that delivery is an all-day appointment with an estimated four-hour window.
Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances out of their control, there may be times the driver may run earlier or later. However, our customers are notified when possible. We show the driver was running slightly behind and the customer’s timeframe went from 10-2 to 11-3. The delivery was completed by 2:30pm on their finalized delivery date of 8.12.23.

1 starWe are scheduled to receive a replacement recliner on August 15, 2023. Who schedules a delivery time between 7AM and 11AM? I called to complain about 7AM. There was no flexibility on RTG to change to a later time window. I was told that they could schedule me for a later date, but still could not guarantee the time window. If I could give them a -5 I would. The manager has no communication skills, clearly unqualified, inexperienced, arrogant, severe attitude, lacks customer service, he should never be a manager in any position. He lost a $ ******** sale because of his ego and unwillingness to negotiate $ 49,99, I left and will never go back, never recommend you or your business.Rooms To Go

I would give them zero stars if I could. Their products are low quality. Dont bother buying the warranty either. I was told that my warranty would cover my purchases for as long as I had it, only to find out that it was a three year warranty. I have bought over $10k of their stuff and it is all garbage. Kitchen table chairs are falling apart. My sofa electronics dont work and have a major seam that has come undone. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.Rooms To Go

Rooms To Go offers a 1-year warranty for manufacturers defects as stated on the terms located on their purchase receipt. Thiers expired as of 5/5/19. Our customer purchased the optional extended service plan powered by Fortegra. Their guidelines are outlined under the website referenced on said invoice. This coverage expired on 5.9.21. Please note that the purchase invoice states this coverage is solely for 3-years as clearly printed on the front. This paperwork was provided to the customer at the point of sale.
Although we value our customers business and sympathize with their concerns, please understand we are abiding by the guidelines within the contract.
On behalf of Rooms To Go, we apologize for being unable to pursue any action given the length of time the furniture has been in the home.

1 starI bought whole set of furniture for my daughters room almost 6 months ago. Those furniture had very strong chemical smell when delivered. We waited at least one month before I and daughter slept in the room. Then I noticed my whole body started to itch very bad with rash. Went to dermatologist, thought allergic dermatitis! I never had any skin issues in the past! then one month later my daughter started to complain itch as well. I was scared so we decided to sleep in separate different room. It was one week later our skin issue gradually resolved. We suffered almost 3 months until we realized it was those new furniture causing skin itch! They have owed me a refund since the end of June for an order that was canceled the day after the purchase. Multiple phone calls, a visit there and they have still not sent a refund check to me. They say they are going to call and they never do. My last visit there they copied my drivers license and the card that was used and said they were sending it to their accounts receivable department. 2 starsBuy beware...We purchased a sectional about 2 years ago and have issues since. We frist noticed pilling on our sectional and contacted RTG (rooms to go) about the issue. They couldn't come out to inspect so we sent in some photos and explained that it is only on 3 pillows (maybe 2). I was told that they will send new pillows but when that day came, i was told via phone call that it will be a new couch. We really didn't want a new couch but just the pillows. Before the warrenty expired, we stated to have pilling again and called but this time they had someone come out and will decide if we are entitled to a new couch. The rep was firendly and looked over this issue. He wasnt to surprised to see it and began to fix it (plus another issue with our chairs), he also tolds us that he has to deny our claim which i believe was the fact he fixed it even though he acknlowledge the problem will not go away. Now 2023, We spoke to a manager about this pilling issue at the Brentwood, TN store and he along with an employee told us that it is really usual for the pilling to be happening because they have a similar sectional and never had any issue. He told me that we had to speak to the store MGR and explain what is going on. He was concerned about the rejection because the couch was under warrenty and we should have been able to exchange it. We did speak to the MGR and he explained the process and made several calls. Long story....he was told no all the time because we didn't purchase the extra warrenty. He even told that the problem was on going and we had every right to an exchange because the problem was addressed prior to the 1 year expiry date. I was told over the phone to call C/S and they could over step and authorize the excahnge.the C/S spoke to her supervisor and then informed me that from the first exchange, their warrenty excluded pilling and we should not have gotten a new couch. 1 starDelivery sucks!!! I have spent over $8,000 with Rooms to go with the last few months furnituring my house and my moms house. I had to sleep on the floor for over a week. They would either forget a part of their s**** or drill. Its always something, or even a part of my order. Then I ordered a a sofa table, which we chose to assemble ourself, one of the leg of the table was not drill. Smh. My husband just drill in the leg himself since we did not want to go with returning. These are my order numbers and they can review for themself of how much I have spent. I love their furnitures but Im just tired at this point. ********* ******** *********** ********* *********
