just 2months since we bought roomstogo Sofa, and feathers are coming out of cushions like anything, customer service say it's NORMAL.. Paid around 600$ for coverage. Now option i got is, to reselect but have to pay delivery/charges again. Horrible!!I have paid around $600 for coverage and $270 for delivery charges, and in response to that roomstogo has delivered me a defective piece of sofa and cushions, fully filled with poultry feathers.And now when I am asking to fix it OR replace it, they are asking to pay for delivery/service charges again. Horrible !!! Every time I sit on this sofa, I feel like I am sitting in a poultry farm. Please, I want my money back and I want roomstogo to take their garbage back. Otherwise I will file a legal complaint against roomstogo. Thanks !!Rooms To Go

This is in response to this review.
As posted on our website and placards next to this merchandise,the cushions are filled with feather blend. The issues being experienced are nature of this piece and not a defect. As a gesture of good will, the customer was authorized a reselection to a different living room set equal in value as they were not happy with the living room set they have. This was solely offered as a courtesy. Please note consumers are responsible for any greater price difference plus new delivery fee and extended service plan should they wish to have it on the new product when it is a preference related issue such as this.
With respect to our customers situation, we have been made aware that our online complaint office has been in communication with the customer directly via email and has provided options for resolve.

I’ve never had a problem with RTG until now, i purchased a sectional on 7/26 and was told delivery would be wed 8/2, ok great, when the delivery driver gets here, my husband watched him drop multiple sections of the couch (the couch is wood on the inside so of course dropping it is not good), so now we are not accepting the delivery because the chair is shaking and we can’t see if there is any damage from him dropping the pieces. I called customer service for them to tell me the next time we can get another couch out is Tuesday 8/8, now i am livid, so basically because of there incompetent delivery people i have to wait basically another week, then they told me they could see if i could possibly be an add on, they will send a message and someone will update me, of course no one called me back, then i called Thursday and was given the same line, then i called Friday with still no call back, to be told i can’t be squeezed in, this is so unacceptable, it seems they just wasn’t going to call and bring my things on the 8th, doesn’t seem like anyone even tried to squeeze me in, good customer service would be them putting my order on a truck by itself if they have to, to get me by things as soon as possible because it was their drivers that caused the issues, instead of them basically waving me off and delivering my couch when they get a chance, completely unfair and terrible customer serviceRooms To Go

We regret the customers delivery was not completed. Although accidents occur from time to time with deliveries, we do have options in place in order to resolve issues as they arise for our customers. With instances such as this, customers are given the option to accept delivery so they still have something to use while they await delivery of a replacement or option to refuse the delivery and await a redelivery. This would be up to the customer to decide.
Regrettably, due to heavy volume, we contract with delivery companies for all the regions we service. We do the best we can to accommodate all customers. Unfortunately, all delivery routes are booked every day. Requests can be made for a sooner attempt but is not a guarantee. We apologize if the customer was not informed a sooner date was unavailable. Our office will be reviewing to further investigate and address any issues as deemed necessary.

Worse experience ever. Broken furniture not once but twice. Customer service not helpful at all. After 20 years of been customer, I’m done. The first delivery took almost two weeks and arrived with three of five pieces broken. A week later I received the second delivery and this time : still the dresser was broken. After many call to customer service, they called and told me that I have to wait one more week to receive the new dresser. I feel that is totally unfair that I have to wait for one more week. No just that, when I told them I want to return the broken piece that it’s still at home they said I have to call the store myself for that. Are you kidding me? We have to do their job and deal with this problem myself. I’m not going back to you again and I’m going to let everyone I know about this terrible experience. One of your customers service named Megan was really rude. I’m sad but your company it’s not the same anymore.Rooms To Go

Junk!!! We have tried 3 separate times to get furniture delivered to us that is acceptable! The stuff looks like there is zero quality control of their product before its sent out to customers. Doors on cabinets uneven and will not close flush. Delivery of product had cut marks through end tables, mirror, and headboard from when they opened from the box!Rooms To Go

I am very disappointed from this furniture store. Have contacted them many times, changed our address many times but still they don't care. We got a sectional from them the side armrest doesn't pull up, the back seam of the sofa started to to show up on the front.i can see the threads from the bottom stitches to loosen. They came and said they will not replace, they will stitch it up even if we had a 3 years plan for guardian insurance. Are you serious, this is how to do business, I f I would have known that their insurance doesn't work, I would have never bought this sectional from them. Nobody wants to get their furniture stitched up, because in few months it's gonna look much worse. I am very sad and disappointed, I needed a replacement not somebody comes up at my place and do some stitching.Rooms To Go

Rooms To Go offers a 1-year warranty for manufacturers defects as stated on the terms located on their purchase receipt. This warranty expired as of 9.8.22. Our customer purchased the extended service plan powered by Guardian. Their guidelines are clearly outlined under the website referenced on said invoice.
With respect to their situation, we have reviewed their account in its entirety. Since delivery, we have no record of any verbal or written communication regarding any issues with the furniture until May 2023.They were directed to Guardian for any course of action authorization. They approved repair of the piece and ordered the mechanism replacement from the manufacturer. Once received, it may be installed. We regret we would be unable to offer any options as the customer is solely under the repair plan contract. The customer is welcome to reach out to Guardian should they wish to dispute their decision.

The sleeper sofa from the *************************** Collection totally *****. The inner parts broke and we were sinking into floor when we sat on the couch. We got a replacement and it broke the same day. We asked for a refund since the total cost was $1500, but they refuse and only would replace. But why do i want to replace it with another sofa that will break. I just wanted a sleep sofa, I could have gotten regular sofa for much less that would have been of better quality. Please note that Rooms To Go offers a 1-year warranty against manufacturers defects as stated on the terms of sale located on their purchase receipt. This expires as of 8.04.022. Since date of delivery, we show no record of any verbal or written communication regarding any issue until 6.09.23.A service technician was sent out to evaluate the sleeper. Parts were recommended for repair; however, we show an exchange was authorized to satisfy the customers complaint.
Our records reflect the customer called regarding the new sleeper 2 days after the exchange was delivered. A service should have been sent to evaluate the piece; however, as a gesture of good will, they were offered to reselect the sleeper to a different piece or living room set equal in value.

1 starOn 7/15/23 we paid nearly $5,000 cash for a loveseat, table, end table, and desk. The loveseat works great (heated and massaging).The table and end tables were scratched. They came out here and touched them up with a dark marker. Not a big deal.The desk. A $1300 desk, did not have all the parts shipped with it. A short phone call and they were coming out on Tuesday the next week to fix it. Tuesday comes and no show, you call and they deny everything and say they'll be out Saturday. On Saturday, they came out and only had half of the desk.Fast forward to the following Saturday (15 days later) they show up again, without the correct parts.Bottom line, they will take your money, tell you stories, yet not deliver on their promises.Stay away...stay far away.Review fromBennett M

Very disappointed with the delivery and customer service for my recent order of he Sienna Way 2 PC sectional bought in July of 2023. Rooms To Go has attempted two deliveries to my home and brought the wrong couch each time. I've made adjustments to my work schedule to be home twice now and still don't have a couch. Each time, the delivery men say that someone will contact me to reschedule another delivery within 30 minutes and 2 hours later no one has reached out; I have to call customer service and explain the situation. Customer service hasn't made any accommodation after the mistake and scheduled deliveries a week after the original mistaken ones. Upon asking for a refund for the delivery fee, I had to argue for half of the fee to be refunded; they said they would not be willing to refund the full delivery fee after two failed deliveries. The amount of lost time, moved work scheduling and hassle I've had to go through after two failed deliveries isn't worth a full refund of the delivery fee apparently. When discussing this with customer service, the answer has been "that's not in my control" or "sorry I can't do anything about that". I've tried to be patient and understanding as mistakes happen, but this has left such a poor impression of Rooms To Go's organization and customer service. It appears once you've paid for the couch you become an afterthought.Rooms To Go
