On behalf of Rooms To Go, please express our apologies to our customer for any inconvenience or misunderstanding they may have experienced.
With respect to their situation, we have reviewed their account in its entirety. Our records reflect the sleeper was delivered on 11.2.22. The customer 1st reported an issue on ******* in which a service technician was sent out to evaluate. An exchange was authorized and delivered in March. Since delivery, we show no further reports of any issues with this furniture.
Because the customer is still within their ***** warranty,they may contact our customer care department to schedule a service to have the current piece looked at.

I went to the ************** Rooms to go and was assisted by *****. She was extremely knowledgeable. She was able to help me and was extremely patient. I ended up purchasing a living room set and bedroom set for my condo. Everything arrived timely and in amazing condition. Thank you again ************** team, and especially *****!Rooms To Go

In the being of our purchase everything seemed to be okay. Salesman ****. I and my husband selected the Glenira Land Brown 5-piece King, we were told this bedroom set was being discontinued. IT displayed 2night stand, a chaser ***** dresser, canopy king **** It was listed under $ ****. Told **** we would like to purchase the whole set, we wanted everything. I purchased nightstand separated with my credit card. My husband received store credit. This order was taking very long to process for some reason **** couldnt get the order to go through, ****** a store managers step in to help **** process the order. **** asks if we wanted deliver & set, it was dropped off at the door. Which was a lie also. We received ********* King **** WE DID NOT RECEIVE the chaser ***** We called and spoke with one of the Manger, to explain our order was wrong, look at your receipt. Which was true it shows that the *********************** was not listed, we tried to explain that order was wrong. A store manager told my husband that we should never trust a sale person that works for Room to Go. We were told my one of the mangers they would schedule pick up for bedroom suit up, that never happen. No call from sale person or mangers. All we wanted is what we paid for or try to resolve our order, the order was wrong. But we felt like we were lied to just to get a sale that provided false advertisement. Not one Manger try to correct the situation. NO ********************* was ever received..Rooms To Go

In the best interest, the store authorized a return of the bedroom set for a refund. Please have our customer call into the Care Center at 1-800-766-6786 to schedule the #**********. They would need to return the night stands to the Outlet Store #**********.

I bought a couch in March, 2023 from the North Charleston store. When the couch was purchased I asked multiple times if the couch would be covered if we moved out of state. I was guaranteed by the sales associate and manager working that we would be covered and I was sold the extended warranty. They knew the couch was going to California and had the couch delivered in plastic and in time for our move out. Fast forward to April and the couch has a manufacturer defect and is broken - has been since the day we unwrapped it and sat on it. We contacted rooms to go and we were sent to Guardian who the extended warranty is through. They sent out a technician who ultimately said the couch needed to be replaced and to contact Rooms to Go. After contacting them we were basically told tough luck that since they don’t service California that there is nothing they can do. We contacted the North Charleston store directly and spoke to a manager named Clifford. Clifford assured us that customer service would be able to cut us a check to replace the couch. After speaking to customer service we were very rudely told that that was not the case and to just bring the couch back to the store. This is insane because they know we live in southern CA and just said it to be rude. We have been given the run around since the moment we bought the couch and no one is helping. So now we are making payments on a broken couch. I made it perfectly clear with the store that we were moving to California and they still sold us the couch under false pretenses. Horrible customer service and I would never buy ANYTHING from this company again. The associates and managers just lie to get your business. Ridiculous. We just want them to do the right thing and make this right. It’s just crazy that a business this big can just lie and not have to stand by what they say.Rooms To Go

We bought a Theater Sofa a year ago and we got the Extended WARRANTY. Well in March of 2023, my wife called to place a repair call for our sofa thathadbroken down. The first Technician came out in April and repaired a metal part. After that, the sofa was the same. A month later in May another Technician came out and said that he doesn't know why thefirstperson fixed a part that didn't need to be replaced. The second Technician ordered a part that arrived three weeks after the second Technician. Then in mid-June, the third technician came out and said that he didn't know thatthe second person ordered a part that was not needed and that the wood part was broken. It has been THREE WHOLE MONTHS that we have NOT been able to use that part of the sofa. I finally had it and called the phone number ***** number. After getting transferred like three times I spoke to a lady by the name of ******. She is saying that since I called they were going to try to get the earliest appointment for a fourth Technician to come to get the part that arrived to my house because accidently that part was needed to get shipped out to the shop, not to our house. Then that part will go to a Rooms To Go store then they will ship out the part that I received to the shop and that when they are ready they will come to my house to pick up the sofa and ship it out to get it fixed. So in the meantime, I will be with a half sofa. Are you serious right now?So, we are talking about it, will take almost 4 months if not 5 months to get my sofa fixed. I need my sofa fixed ASAP or replaced ASAP. Very disappointed with this bad service. I asked ****** to speak to a Manager and she is saying that it will take 24 to ************************************************* This is outrageous and very unprofessional. Please express our apologies to our customer, on behalf of our company, for any misunderstandings or inconvenience they may have experienced.
Our records reflect the 1-year warranty we offer expired as of 6.25.22. We show no record of any verbal or written communication regarding any issues of this nature until 2.24.23. Because they purchased the extended service plan powered by Fortegra, a service was approved to go and evaluate the furniture.
We understand multiple attempts were made for repair in the home; however, the type of service that was needed was to be completed in the shop.Parts were ordered from the manufacturer. Parts are normally sent to the address on the account. A technician picks it up and the service department arranges for the piece(s) to be picked up. This is what Fortegra approved.
However, we have been made aware the above option was canceled and Fortegra considered an alternative action upon the customers request.

July 2023- Asheville NC store- BUYERS BEWARE OF ANYTHING THEY PROMISE YOU AND REFUSE TO PUT IN WRITING. Even though you have to sign pages of "Conditions in tiny print" to protect their interests they do not give the customer the same courtesy or protection. After placing a large order and not hearing back from my salesman regarding an issue for 3 days I called and asked for the manager. The man i spoke with told me he was the manager, but he was NOT. After he went on to tell me that they could not honor the things the salesman told me he was forced to admit he was NOT the manager but assistant manager. He said he would have to speak with the real manager when he could not get rid of me that easily,. He called me back & told me the manager had agreed to the things the salesman had told me & all was good until he said they refused to put any of it in writing. After encountering the lies I had just gone through with this store I was not about to trust this without some kind of written confirmation. I called the customer care division regarding this. While they are very polite and agreeable, they will not really do anything to help you. The agent did call the store & told the manager to call me, which she did. She did not ask me anything of what had happened only stated right off the bat she was cancelling the order at no charge and I could get this elsewhere. I was agreeable to this as I no longer trusted these people and did not appreciate the way they treated me. I asked her to please email me this confirmation in writing as they tell you on forms you sign after 2 days you can't cancel an order without paying a 20% fee even if you don't have the furniture. She did not send me that written confirmation & refused to do so after. The Office Mgr told me to have a nice day & hung up on me when I called about not receiving it. I have reported this to every agency as advised by FTC & hope you do too as we should not be treated this way by these companies.Rooms To Go
