      Rooms To Go is doing huge scam in with Guardian Protective Products, Inc.. it’s my guess, the owners of both companies are the same!! If you buy an extended warranty and choose to use it.., the two companies bounce you between one another, we would keep getting the run around from both companies, we needed a table top replacement due to damage, the insurance setup claim, rooms to go came out to replace the top, it was a completely different color top, we complained the day he was there and was told that is what manufacturer was making now, under my contract it states if it’s not same as original we would get a swap out for full purchase price, well we have been going for weeks trying and the store sends us to warranty company and they keep sending to store, it’s ridiculous the poor customer service after a purchase, can’t ever get to speak with anyone in upper management, when we tried numerous times the call gets miraculously disconnected. I will NEVER BUY FROM ROOMS TO GO AGAIN. I will do everything in my power to detour anyone i know from using them. Absolutely disgusting how they treat customers.

      My husband and I purchased a sectional and rug. We spent $2662.18, and after 2 days it ripped. I contacted Rooms To Go and they scheduled a tech however, we have jobs and were never able to get it coordinated for them to come fix it. Next, we started having issues with the carpet, it is matted up and you can't clean it because it is so matted. Then the threading on the couch started to come up. Then one of the cushions ripped, and the framing is starting to curve down. Now the cushions are curved and flattening out. We were finally able to get a service tech to come to look at all this, and the service tech agreed that this is an awful situation and needs to be fixed. He said I would hear back in a week, never heard anything. I got in contact with Rooms To Go and their solution is to send new cushion covers and a rug. That is it? What about the armrest rip, the caving-in frame, or the cushions? I am so disappointed. When I expressed this I was told I am sorry there is nothing else we can do. So I am out all of this money and have faulty products. BEWARE OF ROOMS TO GO!!!!!!!!!!

      We love our furniture and were satisfied with our Sales and the team who assisted us. What they DO NOT tell you is same as cash, is NOT same as cash, there is a fee of $54. every month. Sooooo, when financing if you ask they say NO. Then you have to either read the 10 pages (fine print) or get a charge. Just an FYI.

      With respect to their billing, they applied and agreed to the financing terms of interest free financing with equal monthly payments until balance is paid in full with Synchrony Finance. Their terms our briefly outlined on the purchase invoice provided at the point of sale..

      Please understand that Rooms To Go is solely the retailer.Synchrony Finance paid ** when the customer received the ********************. Therefore,the customer may reach out to the finance institution directly in order to address their concerns as this is out of our jurisdiction.

      Rooms To Go is running an enormous scam in partnership with Guardian Protective Products, Inc.. it’s my guess, the owners of both companies are the same!! If you buy an extended warranty and invoke the use of it.., the two companies bounce you between one another relentlessly!! We’ve been trying for 6 mths to get repairs on two pieces of furniture for which we bought the extended warranty, and we are bounced between the two companies contiguously!! We get an email from Guardian that says call Rooms to Go; Rooms To Go tells you to call/ contact Guardian!! If you’re on the phone with either company…, they refer you to each other!!!! Back and forth, Back and forth!!! They want pictures, and you send pictures, and they want the same pictures…, again, and again.., and again!! We actually had a tech dispatched to our house that apparently was only sent TO TAKE pictures of what we had already sent and THEY still send us email# saying they need pictures, please send to Guardian!! Wow!! It’s virtually impossible to speak with ANYONE in Leadership!!!!! At either company!!!!! We asked for a refund on our extended warranty and were told; “Sure.., no problem.., but it will be pro-rated!! WHAT? They sent replacements parts that were not remotely the right parts and told they could pickup one sofa to repair it; BUT CANT GUARANTEE MATCHING COLORS!!!!! Wow!! We were asked to send pictures again…, and again…, and again!!! Our repairs were theoretically very simple…, x2 replacement hinges ( mths and mths of no resolution to include hinges having been sent that didn’t remotely match the dozens of pictures they have including those taken by their own rep!!! I WILL NEVER EVER USE OR REFER ANYONE TO ROOMS TO GO!! I so regret ever having done business with them!!!!!!

      When you see negative reviews, believe every word. On multiple occasions I have vouched and gave this company business and each time was a continuous let down. From the disrespect and lack of information from a sales agent, to the constant delay of delivery. This company will continue to lie to you just to keep you calm as if they are doing something to help you. I waited 2 weeks after payment to get my order and still had to wait an additional week because the company canceled my delivery. Then when I finally got my delivery, I got it at 8pm when it was suppose to be delivered that morning. Constant setbacks and delays with no communication. Will not be returning for future business. Ive given 3 chances with all bad complaints. The first chance, I was given damaged furniture and they asked if I wanted it repaired. After they delivered it damaged! Who spends money for something brand new to be given something patched. This company lacks morals and structure.

      Dear BBB,I am hoping this post will change the course of how RTG does business. I was a loyal RTG customer until my recent purchase of a three piece sectional. It was delivered on May 30th. The delivery team damaged my home. I immediately called RTG to file a claim. It has been tossed around back and forth til present day, 06/14/2023. No one takes accountability for the delivery teams inconsideration of our property. RTG keeps promising to call me back for a status on how they will resolve the issue. Nothing but empty promises. I am beyond disappointed and feel bad for everyone customer who has had a bad experience with RTG. Worst customer service RTG, should reconsider who you contract your delivery to. What has happened is absolutely inexcusable and your lack of response is beyond inexcusable.

We have been made aware that delivery companys claims office has been in communication. They requested the customer provide documentation in order to aide said investigation.As of 5.31.23, they have not heard back from the customer nor sent in the requested information.

      Absolutely the worst delivery service. Technicians don't know what they're doing they damage your floors. They damage your walls they damage your door corporate could care less they just keep blowing you off.This is the most unprofessional store ever

      Rooms to go has partnered with synchrony bank for financing with their credit card. Poor choice. Synchrony lowered my credit line affecting my credit score. Synchrony was the only credit card that did that. A month later I paid off synchrony and closed my account. Because rooms to go is partnered with synchrony bank they have also lost my business in the future

      no access to their files or credit information. The customer will need to

      This is the second time rooms to go has delivered outside of the agreed upon time, I take time from work to be home and they just cant seem to be on time, first they tried to bait and switch me with an item that was correct then when contacting the store and employee told me quite literally s*** happens and hung up On me

      This is a follow up to our previous response.



      Once again we apologize to our customer for any inconvenience or lack of professionalism they *** have experienced.



      As our office is concerned by the allegations expressed in said review, we will be reviewing a copy with the area regional manager to further investigate the allegations and address any issues should it be deemed necessary. Unfortunately, any information acquired is privileged and confidential and would not be released to the public but will be used to ensure a similar situation does not transpire in the future.



      With respect to the furniture, we were able to acquire more information from the customer in order to pull up the account. Records reflect the initial order was from the same vendor and model. According to our buyers, it was an old sku# that was changed by the vendor. As soon as the customer reported the issue, a new order was generated with the correct sku# to be swapped with what was already delivered. This was completed on 6.12.23. In regards to timeframe, the deliver company confirmed delivery was completed on the scheduled date. Regrettably, timeframe windows are not guaranteed. Delivery is all day from 7am-10pm. Due to unforeseen circumstances that *** occur, there *** be times drivers *** run earlier or later. We apologize this was the case here.

      I purchased two corner tables from Rooms to Go on-line, decided later I only needed one of the tables. I called to request a return and was informed that online purchases must be returned with in the first 48 hours and therefore I could not and would be able to return the corner table to them!! This is totally unacceptable, and I will NEVER purchase anything from them again! I have not even opened the box or assembled the corner table but I can't return it !!!

      With respect to their situation, our office has reviewed their account in its entirety. Per the terms of the purchase contract our customer agreed to, online purchase orders have 48hours from date of delivery (5.13.23) in which to return an item should it not be to manufacturer specifications. We show no verbal or written communication regarding any issues with the 1 end table nor a request to return until 1 month after delivery (6.12.23).

      As a gesture of good will, our office will authorize our online store to generate a return for 1 end table for a refund minus return fees. The customer will be contacted to schedule the pickup once created.

      Please allow up to 21 business days to process the refund from the date of return and 1-2 billing cycles to show on their credit card statement.
