We bought our first couch set in February of 2022. By March of 2023, we had to have a replacement for a broken arm and then the bottom collapsed on the couch, then trade in credit and went with a sectional, this had to be serviced twice and then we decided to have them take it back for a refund, which they refused. So, we went with a more expensive set and payed more out of pocket for less seating and it was delivered BROKEN! When we contacted them, we were again offered a replacement. After finally speaking to the right person, we were grated a full refund once the couch was picked up. The set was picked up 4 days ago and by chance we called to follow up and verify the check was on the way to find out our account was showing outstanding instead of a refund!!! They started this was due to a glitch and would issue the refund check to be sent today and we would receive in in an additional **** business days! We were told we could try to come into the store in person, but it isnt guaranteed the refund to debit card would work. So we would also risk a 20 minute drive, one way, to see if this would work. All around a nightmare of a time and so much time and money wasted. Their customer service is a hit and miss but their furniture is absolutely terrible!!Rooms To Go

In regards to their situation, our records reflect the order was returned on 4.29.23. Any refund, regardless if paid by cash, check, card or financed, takes up to 21 business days to process back to the customer as soon as the return is invoiced. Cash, check and debit purchases are refunded back by check.

Rooms To Go does not stand behind the products they sell. They cast blame on manufactures. When a customer spends thousands of dollars on merchandise in their stores, and the merchandise is defective, "it is your fault you bought it there," is the response you will receive from customer care. Furniture "usually doesn't last more than a year or two," says customer service. Do yourself a favor and buy quality furniture elsewhere! This company doesn't appreciate your business. After purchasing several rooms of furniture from them and having a leather sofa rot, and their most expensive mattress sink in the middle after only 4 months, their finishes rub off on clothing, their stain protector fail, and hearing all of the excuses, I can tell you, I will never purchase from them again!Rooms To Go

We are in receipt of this review.
In regards to our customers situation, we have reviewed their account in its entirety. Our customer purchased their ******************** from our *************** store in 2022. This is a clearance store. The furniture carries no warranty, except for certain mattresses that *** carry a limited warranty period against manufacturers defects. No other furniture is eligible for service, exchanges or returns as it is a final sale transaction. This information is clearly printed on the front of the purchase invoice provided at the point of sale.
Our records reflect the customer was authorized service on their mattress and then was authorized to reselect to something of equal value at said store.Review fromTeri C

Bought leather couch that was not what I expected (**********, *******). RTG agreed to return but I had to spend cost of couch on other furniture, which I did. 7 months later and numerous phone calls and visits the balance on my credit card is not accurate. The method sales/returns/credits are performed blindly by RTG employees to credit card company (Comenity)Rooms To Go

This is in response to our customers claim.
With respect to their situation, a reselection was authorized for equal value paid at the point of sale.
Because the customer financed the majority of their order,transactions take 1-2 billing cycles to reflect correctly on their Synchrony finance statement. We have been made aware the stores office manager has gone over the customers account with them. However, if they should still not understand, the stores manager would be happy to print off all of their orders and go over the figures in detail with them at the store.

I purchase an Eric Church Sofa Recliner from Rooms To Go, I was given a Fabric Cleaner to clean the sofa that has faded and looks dull and dry. I tried many times to get resolution from RTG since the couch was shiny and retained it's dark brown color before using the cleaner that they provided. I was told by store manager that what I'm describing was normal wear and tear, this was more than 3yrs ago, when my sofa at that time was only 3yrs old. WARNING to anyone looking to purchase this Highway to Homes Signature furniture, " do not clean it with the small bottles of fabric cleaner" the store provides, it will ruin your furniture and they will offer no accomodations to replace it. I have had three professional look at my recliner sofa and was told it cannot be repaired and the only resolution would be to have it upholstered which will cost you more than the 3pcs set.Rooms To Go

I just received the information you requested, the acct number is **SSN*********, the purchase amount was $2499.74 made late September and delivered in October 2017. The store was notified while the furniture was under warranty, but no action was taken, again I was told it was wear and tear, however, since I noticed the discoloration of the sofa from using the cleaner that the store provided, I never used it on the chair and it still look showroom nice.Review fromJanet M

1 starI purchased a Rooms-to g- adjustable base that was defective. I paid $1375 for it. I called customer service and the product is still under warranty. Rooms to go sent a technician to fix it, but it could not be repaired. I called customer service again, and they agreed to replace it with another one. The only problem is, they no longer carry that product. So they asked me to choose another one that is equivalent to mine. When I went to the store they adjustable base that is equivalent is almost $300 more. They asked me to pay the difference. I refused and asked for a refund. They proceeded to say I could not get a refund when their warranty policy clearly states on their website. ( If you provide notice within the warranty time period that (ii) would be refunded the purchase price in exchange for the return of the merchandise. I spoke to a manager(a lady, short, with short blond bob cut, glasses ) she stated that she could not help me. but call customer service) This was the start of a goose chase, so I opted to file a complaint and possible a legal complaint if it is not resolved. For this to be a brand new store in my community, they have terrible customer service and the choose to falsely state verbal claims.Review fromJonesS

4 starsGENERALLY, I've had good experience with R2G products when ordering online, and not having to deal with the showroom salespeople (more bad experiences than good).HOWEVER, I recently ordered a cabinet that was shipped direct from the factory. *** delivered it and it arrived in terrible condition. Not R2G's fault...but I would like to caution anyone who orders sale merchandise direct from the factory via R2G (or any company). Be advised that your several hundred-dollar investment may arrive damaged. In my situation, the merchandise did arrive in terrible condition (blaming the delivery company), but the item may have been on the factory shelf for years, accumulating the environmental contaminants in which it is was stored...namely a humid enviro. The cabinet smells like must and mold...so, not something I want to display in my living room...then there's the viewable damage aspect, which is disappointing.Review fromSusan G

RTG is a joke! Their furniture is cheap and horrible, and their prices are ridiculous. Their couches and mattresses sink in after a few months and then you are told by their "repair people" that it's normal! It's not; it's cheaply made. You can't contact the "celebrities" who put their names on their furniture to complain. Also WHAT COMPANY DOESN'T HAVE REVIEWS OF THEIR PRODUCTS??? THEY DON'T HAVE REVIEWS BECAUSE NEGATIVE RATINGS WOULD CAUSE THEM TO LOSE BUSINESS. NEVER SHOPPING THERE AGAIN; THERE ARE SO MANY OTHER REPUTABLE FURNITURE STORES/OUTLETS WHICH HAVE REVIEWS OF THEIR PRODUCTS. BUT, YOU CAN JUST LOOK AT THE CUSTOMER REVIEWS HERE ON THE BBB and that tells the story and surely that should be enough to keep people away from RTG. Done with them after years of being a loyal customer. I almost made the mistake of purchasing furniture again for my family members which I have done throughout the years. I deleted the furniture in my cart and found somewhere else less expensive with a better selection and thousands of reviews of their products. So done with RTG and happy about it.Rooms To Go

I purchased a sectional that was delivered in October 2022. I started noticing some, not all, cushions were starting to wrinkle- the fabric is either loose or they didnt have enough filler after about 5 months. I also noticed the fabric was balling up and looked terrible on some of the cushions. I requested someone to come out and look and Im told its normal wear and tear! Im sorry but a couch thats not even a year old shouldnt look like mine does. And if it was normal wear and tear they should all look bad! Horrible customer service!Rooms To Go

With respect to our customers concerns regarding their sofa,we have reviewed their account, technicians findings in its entirety including the pictures taken at time of service. It has been deemed the sofa issues are not vendor related. Unfortunately, wear is not a defect and is not covered under the guidelines of the 1-year warranty Rooms To Go offers nor the extended service plan powered by ********.
Although we value their business and sympathize with their concerns, we are abiding by the guidelines within our contract.

I called to have it exchanged for better quantity sofa but because thfe 48 hour timelimit was up they did not want to exchange it and let me pay the difference.
