      Rooms To Go prides itself in excellent customer service,henceforth; it is unfortunate to be made aware the customer feels different.Please rest assured, our office will be investigating further with the area regionals office to address any issues as deemed necessary.



      With respect to their situation, our records reflect a correction has been made by the store regarding the customers bed. The headboard piece is currently scheduled to be delivered on 7.07.23.

      I am writing to file a complaint against Rooms To Go regarding a recent purchase I made. I ordered a bed on April 07, 2023 and received the items on April 13, 2023. The first time the order was deliver to my property I was told by Rooms To Go delivery staff that that the laterals of the bed came with problems and was never told what kind of problems. The staff took the laterals leaving my bed incomplete and expressed that I would receive an apology call from Tampa. A call I never received. The second delivery came and upon inspection, I discovered that the furniture was infested with termites. I immediately contacted Rooms To Go customer service and requested a cancellation and refund, but was told that I could not cancel the order and that the company would not take responsibility for the termite infestation.I even had a termite exterminator inspect my house and the exterminator determined the termite came from the furniture and not my property. I have prove of the termite coming from the furniture. I have since attempted to resolve the issue with the company, but have not received a satisfactory response. I’ve been highly disrespected by customer service. I’ve called various times to cancel the delivery and been told various time my delivery has been cancelled. I would like to request a full refund for my purchase, as well as compensation for the inconvenience and additional expenses I have incurred or my peace of the department store cancelling the furniture delivery. Thank you for your assistance in resolving this matter.

      So I'm on the phone holding with Rooms To Go while I typing this message. It is now Apr 19th and they have not contacted my 90 year old mother or me to address this issue. They stated that they would pick-up the sofa sleeper and give her a loaner (sofa sleeper) until the new sofa is repaired. Now correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't it make more since to just replace the sofa sleeper? So currently at the moment, I'm waiting for call from Guardian (warranty company) to service the the sofa. Hear me out, PLEASE !!! DO NOT PURCHASE ANY PRODUCTS FROM ROOMS TO GO and DO NOT PAY FOR GUARDIANS WARRANTY PLAN!!!!! This has been an absolute NIGHTMARE, imagine if my 90 year old mother had to handle this situation ALONE. ================== 1 star 02/11/2023 My 90 year old mother purchased a sofa sleeper just under a year ago, after about 3 month we noticed a latch underneath the left leg of the sofa came loose. We contacted the warranty company Guardian and it took 3 month and a BBB reviews to get them to respond, again, let me reiterate, the day we posted a complaint against Guardian we received a call the same evening. After that call we were given a order number to call Rooms To Go for an on-site repair. After contacting Rooms To Go, and appointment day was schedule three weeks out, January 31, 2023.Technician came on site looked at the sofa sleeper an informed us that Sofa will need to be repair at the shop. He stated that we should receive a call within 4 to 5 business days. it is now the 11th of February and we still haven't received a call from anyone from Room To Go. Further more how is it that a new sofa sleeper was sold to a 90 year old senior in a defective condition?Dear customers, take my word, whatever you do, DO NOT PURCHASE ANY FURNITURE from this company. We'll keep you posted on the out come.

      We are in receipt of this recent review.

      Our office has reviewed our customer's mother's file.  The ******************** has been in the home since March 2021.  Since that time, there were no issues reported within Rooms To Go 1-year warranty or shortly thereafter.  The first documentation of any issues was in 2023.  At this time, Guardian the extended warranty is abiding by their contract and has authorized a shop repair for the sleeper to resolve.  Unfortunately, Rooms To Go does not have loaner furniture.

      We consider the issues with the sleeper being handled.

      I purchased a sofa from Rooms to go in Arlington in July 2022. It had issues with the seams of the sofa and the reclining part of the sofa. They offered me to come and get it and bring me another one. Which they did. Cell phone number to had a cut in the leather. They picked it up and brought me yet a third sofa. Cell phone number three the seams on the sofa were not lining up it was mismatched in the reclining part on one and did not work properly At this they offered me re-selection. I went down and re-selected the sofa the cost twice as much because they didnt have another soap in my price range and it was power recliner which I really didnt want but I selected it. Today April 19, 2023 they tried to deliver it only the power recliners would not work I declined delivery they took it back. I have a couple of occasions asked to just refund my money they refuse. I have spoke with corporate the store in customer service nobody wants to refund my money and in July of 23 they will no longer help me.

      I bought 2 full rooms of couches from rooms to go. The salesman sold the insurance at point of sale, saying the insurance covered everything possible that could go wrong! No copy of insurance provided to read fine print- such as what you can do with HIPPA disclosure form in doctor’s office before signing consent. FRAUD AT POINT OF SALE! 15 months later I have hole in my couch on frame as big as 50 cent coin. Well, insurance Fortega won’t cover it- calls it “seam” separation which is NOT covered! Must not be covered because they KNOW the furniture- which is costly- is cheaply made! I didn’t expect the couches to start falling apart barely more than a year later!! I was fraudulently sold the insurance at point of sale- with assurance that everything possible was covered! NOT! I downsized to a townhouse after my husband died out of necessity- and only Rooms to Go couch is falling apart! Furniture bought from 3 other companies will last me for the rest of my life- I am 68 years old. I raised 4 rambunctious kids and never did I have any furniture that fell apart in short time like this! EVER! Cheaply made- but price is expensive! Insult to injury- I spent hundreds on extended warranty with assurance that all problems were covered for life of insurance warranty. What a lie! Fortega insurance terms should be disclosed in detail to consumer before wasting additional money on insurance. Cheaply made sectional couches! No wonder “seam’s separation” is not covered- because the seams surely will separate in short order, and RTGO knows this!! Fraud at point of sale selling worthless insurance without full disclosure before sold w false assurances! Stay away from RTG if u want furniture that lasts! I bought furniture from 4 other companies and every other piece of furniture are still perfect! Stay away from rooms to go- and if you do buy there, don’t waste your money on Fortega insurance the push at point of sale!

      The quality control of their furniture, and what they deliver to your home is extremely terrible. I had four deliveries and each delivery. The headboard was actually broken. Chipped defective in many places. They were supposed to deliver furniture at 9 AM on Saturday morning and did not show up until 2 PM. The delivery entity operates as if they do not care if they inconvenienced the customer or deliver defective merchandise. The store manager in ************* location just does not call you back. They do not care either. I was actually told by the store manager in ************* to cancel my order due to not satisfying the delivery. I would not recommend using rooms to go.

      Bought 4k cost of the sofa with the media console at the boca raton Florida store. 4th attempt was made last week in the last two month since we ordered it and still can’t get the correct piece delivered. 5th attempt was supposed to be made tomorrow but now they are saying the delivery wasn’t scheduled. So I am stuck with an incomplete set and they aren’t giving me my refund!!!

      Rooms to go is a trash company that will not honor what they have said they will honor. Bought a floor model couch that is now broken and trashed after one month and they will not fix it or replace it avoid this company at all cost.

      Dear BBB,

      We are in receipt of the review sent to our office via Better Business Bureau.

      Our office has reviewed the account in its entirety. Records reflect that the living room pieces purchased were done as sell off floor samples from the showroom location in *****. As clearly indicated on the purchase receipt given at the point of sale, the items were taken from the store by our customer as-is. Our customer was given a significate discount for this product and any known issues would have been disclosed at that time. These purchases do not carry any warranty once it is in the customers possession. Which means no services, exchanges or return is available. Furthermore, we show no records of any issues reported until 2 months after purchase.

      Nonetheless, our customer care department authorized a service and then a reselection in error. This was not honored due to the above information. However, we show they were presented with 10% off a new purchase was authorized and rejected.

      Our office has reached out to the customer via email to present a final offer as a courtesy. They are to advise if it is accepted or not.

      If I could put 0 stars I would Rooms to go sells you a warranty but don’t take it it’s a scam They give you their special cleaner to take care of your couches. We used it and instead of reducing the dirty spots it brings big stains Technician on site told us that the cleaner given to us was not for this material Customer service always right and you are wrong Buy your furniture from someone else that’s my advice

      We are in receipt of this review.



      Rooms To Go offers a 1-year warranty for manufacturer’s defects as stated on the terms located on their purchase receipt. Theirs expired as of 11.10.21. Our customer purchased the extended service plan powered by Fortegra. Their guidelines are clearly outlined under the website referenced on said invoice.



      With respect to their situation, we have reviewed their account in its entirety. Fortegra approved service to go out and evaluate. These findings were sent to Fortegra for a determination. Unfortunately, it was deemed there was an accumulation of stains on the sofa, chair and ottoman. This is not covered by the accidental portion of the plan; therefore, the claim was denied. Please understand the consumer is responsible for the general maintenance of their furniture.  If the set is not maintained it voids the purpose of the plan.



      On behalf of Rooms To Go, we apologize for being unable to pursue any action due to the reasons explained above.

      I spent $4000 on patio furniture, only to have one piece have a "too short" support leg, so they sent a replacement frame with the same issue. Then customer service lied to me saying that's how it's supposed to be when the store personnel said it should touch the ground. Then after 2 mos. of back and forth, RTG said they would refund me for the set, but I'd have to pay a 20% restocking fee. Funny how I am responsible for their crappy built furniture - so to avoid losing money, they gave me a 10% refund, only I have to sign a warranty waiver. I had to call customer service back over FIVE different times just to get the email to process the refund! I love how I get punished for their false advertisements, I now have POS furniture that cost me a fortune, and they could care less about quality and customer service. So if you want to have horrible customer service, be lied to, and then have a company not be honorable and make up for THEIR mistakes, by all means, invest in Rooms To Go. You are better off buying a flea-ridden couch from a yard-sale than this company.

      Our office reached out to our customer via email as we were unable to pull an account under the information provided to you.



      In regards to their situation, account information was provided in order to review the account and proceed with a prompt response. Our office investigated the customer’s concerns with corresponding departments and has addressed matters with the customer. with respect to their discount to keep the furniture as-is, we have advised the release agreement to keep the furniture as-is was received back from the customer on 5.02.23. The funds are processing back to the card used at the point of sale. All refunds take up to 21 business days to process and 1-2 billing cycles to show on the credit card statement.
