1 starI will never order from rooms to go again, they lost yet another customer with their terrible service and policies. We went into the show room and ordered a living room set Sep 5th 2022. When we were there some items were listed as back ordered. The rep guaranteed not to worry that it will be in and in a worse case scenario he would sell us the item in the show room at a discounted price. We agreed on waiting and purchasing the set we liked. Fast forward two weeks later and we get notification that the love chair in our set and the rug will be back ordered an additional two weeks. At this point we are not mad things happen so we receive the first half of our order and during this order the delivery guy accidently breaks the lamp we were supposed to receive. He apologizes and states the lamp will be redelivered tomorrow again, still not mad because things happen. 1 week passes by and still no call or delivery so we decide to call and guess what? It was listed as delivered, so we have to explain the scenario to the rep and they send out another lamp to be delivered in 1 week. 1 week later they deliver the lamp, which we purchased over a month ago at this point, and still have no confirmation date for the rug or love seat. Life continues and on Nov 9th, almost 2 months after purchase, we get a call stating that the swivel chair was discontinued. I am upset but whatever what can I do. Then on Nov 16th we get notification of a confirmation for delivery for the rug and swivel chair. I call and find out they "found" one in the warehouse. A day after that call they leave a voice mail stating the rug is discontinued and we have to choose a new rug. I call the sales rep and complain about the process and he said call corporate. I call corporate and they said to call the sales rep. I ended up canceling the rug but they still delivered the move pads for the rug. Now I will have to call again to refund the pads and schedule another delivery. They're unorganized & unapologetic.Review fromGraham H

1 starOn 11/22/2022 RTG in ****** is HORRIBLE !! Store sold my mother two expensive area rugs with underpads and a Bed headboard. What was delivered was an underpad that was larger than the area rug (makes No Sense) AND the installation in both the Family room and Bedroom was incorrectly placed under the *********** along with a poorly installed bed headboard.When I called *************************** they kept me on hold for over 30 mins until I finally hung up and called the local ****** store. Spoke with a "*****" who I believe is the Assistant store manager. She expressed her apology and after a short hold while checking with dispatch, indicated that the delivery people would be back in ***** min to fix the problem. After 30 minutes, I called the ****** store back and spoke with "*****" the store Mngr who indicated that the delivery people were just **** minutes away. When I asked exactly where the Delivery people were, he was snippy and harsh with me and just said They will be there in **** minutesOver the next 2+ hours, I kept calling back to the local ****** store only to be told that the Delivery people would be there when they could. I expressed my frustration with their communication and lack of customer service and indicated that we no longer wanted the products. I even went as far as to drive down to the local ****** store to return some of the items only to be told in a ******************** way to "take a hike" by the store Manager "*****". The conversation then became so heated that I elected to call the local police as I did not want things to get out of hand.The ****** store Mngr "*****" then proceeded to explain that Rooms to Go does NOT except ANY Returns on Deliveries..... just about that time, a police officer arrived and after explaining the circumstance, I left the store only to call my ******************* and refused to pay for the Rooms to Go charges.Review fromLindsey W

1 starWe bought a Tempur-pedic hybrid mattress in the beginning of December last year. We were told that it came with the warranty if we were not happy with it they would exchange it for something similar but we could not get our money back which was fine. I called them in about March telling them that we were unhappy because the mattress was very uncomfortable and the girl told me that we needed to give it a chance because we had only had it for three months. She told me that they take time to adjust to us and we just needed to wait. I called two months later and they told me that it was too late and I should have called earlier and theres nothing they can do about it. I was transferred to talk to another person who basically told me there was nothing they could do and then I asked to speak with someone else so she told me that they would send a technician out because maybe there was a defect in the mattress.They sent out a technician to make sure there was no defect in the mattress, which there wasnt. But it is one of the most uncomfortable mattresses and we are stuck with it because we paid so much money for it. All we want is a good nights sleep without our backs hurting, we thought we were doing good because the girls sold it so well to us at the store and then told us all about how it was warranted if we were not happy, which was the biggest lie. I purchased a sofa and love seat a little over 1 year ago. The end of September we found that the sofa left side was sinking. Service person came out looked at it and told us that the fame was broken. I have no small children, my husband is not overweight to break it, plus I would hardly sit on that chair as we have the love seat which I would use. This happened on 10/7. No phone calls or emails came from rooms to go since that date. I decided to call to find out what’s happening as I was under the impression after the service guy left my house that they were going to replace or switch it out. After talking to customer service this morning, I was told that they are not handling it because it over a year I need to call Fortegra, who I gave extended warranty with. After talking to the customer service representative from Fortegra, I was told it’s not a manufacturer’s defect so it’s not covered. If I someone jumping on my chairs and broke it, I would totally understand. But it’s only after a little over a year and this to happen and having extended warranty I honestly believe something should have been done. I wasn’t asking for a new sofa. Even if they had suggested to try and fix the frame, that would still be acceptable. But absolutely nothing from Rooms To Go or Fortegra is unacceptable. Definitely will not be buying ANYTHING from Rooms to Go again.Rooms To Go

We are in receipt of our customers claim.
Rooms To Go offers a 1-year warranty against manufacturers defects as stated on the terms located on their purchase receipt. This expired as of 5.22.22. Our customer purchased the extended service plan powered by ********. Their guidelines of what is covered or not covered are clearly outlined under the website referenced on their purchase receipt.
With respect to their situation, we have reviewed their account and technicians findings in its entirety. Since delivery, we show no record of any verbal or written communication regarding any such issues until 10.17.22. ******** approved service. Unfortunately, it was deemed the issue with the sofa is not vendor related. Please understand the sofa was not delivered in this condition. Therefore, the cracked frame is not covered. For this reason, ******** denied their claim.
Although we value our customers business, we apologize for being unable to pursue a course of action due to the reasons explained above.

The furniture at Rooms to Go is ok but their delivery system is terrible. l purchased a recliner to be delivered on the 16th of Nov. a day later l reconsidered the purchase of the extended warranty. l called the store they added it on and said l had to go online to pay. l told them l was not home and l could do it the next day. l forgot about it. l received a call last evening reminding me. l said l forgot and would do it right away. Then the salesman told my because l had not paid, my deliver date had been moved back 8 days. That was not acceptable to me. l asked why, when l paid in full for the recliner, over $1300 was my deliver changed instead of simply cancelling the extended warranty. they had no answer. l cancelled the extended warranty and requested they put my original deliver date back. l go a call this morning stating the could not give me the original date, l would have to accept the 23rd. l cancelled CV the entire order. The chair was not my first choice, l purchased it because it was ONLY chair l could get delivered in my time frame. Delivery date.was important to me, the salesman knew that and continued to argue that no matter where l bought a chair it would not be delivered in time. l finally told him at this point, l would rather have a chair that l really want delivered later that a chair from Rooms to Go. The store lost my business because they moved my date backb8 days without letting me know. Nobody initially stated if l did not pay immediately my delivery date would change. Why not just deliver and state you did not pay for the warranty sonit is void, here is your chair. These people are crazy.Rooms To Go

On behalf of Rooms To Go, please express our apologies to our customer for any inconvenience experienced.
With respect to their situation, we have reviewed the account in its entirety. Our records reflect the customer requested to add the extended service plan to their order thereby changing their order; therefore,making the order not paid in full. The account was notated the customer was advise they would need to pay the balance that evening online or in the showroom in order to complete the order without interruption. Unfortunately,that was not the case. The unpaid orders are unable to be delivered, which is why the date was pushed back. No other changes are able to be made to an order without consumer approval.
We have been made aware the order was canceled at the customers request. However, the customer placed a new order online for the recliner including the extended service plan. It was delivered on 11.23.22.

I purchased a bed from the location on ********** several months ago and the bed was on sale for $595. I went into the store and the associate was more interested in taking care of his people and ******* me by selling me a bed I did not want and gave me false information leading me to believe the bed has the pressure points, gel, pocketed coils and would help with my back problems. Within 3 months the bed was dipping on my and my husbands side of the bed and we are not overweight. There is a hump in the middle of the mattress and it's only gotten worse. We show no records of any verbal or written communication of any issues with this bedding until this review. Please note that product placards are placed in our showrooms next to the merchandise with pricing and detailed product information for our customers to review at their convenience. Cheaters with their guardian warranty service !! Pretty much doesnot cover anything !! They say they will anything and would not cover stains on my sectional which come from my 2 yrs old playing with her water bottle and dropping water at different places !! Reason they give is that its accumulative and cant be covered !! Outright cheaters !!!Rooms To Go

Our customer purchased the extended service plan powered by Guardian. Their guidelines are clearly outlined under the website referenced on said invoice.
With respect to their situation, we have reviewed their account in its entirety. Since the receipt of the furniture we have no record of any verbal or written communication regarding any issue until 10.18.22. Unfortunately,stains are not vendor related. Guardian will cover a stain as a single incident. A multitude of stains or overall stains are considered consequential.We regret this may be the reason Guardian denied their claim. Please understand that consumers are responsible for the general maintenance of their furniture.if the set is not maintained it voids the purpose of the plan.

I thought this was a legitimate company who cared for their customers. This is not true and they have a 48hr return SCAM! They intentionally make it impossible to return anything and get your money back. I tried to return bar stools that have never been unboxed or even opened but since it was slightly pass 48hours they basically laughed in my face. Horrible customer service and horrible return policy. Crooked company!Rooms To Go

In the interest of maintaining good customer relations, we had the online store generate a return for the barstools for a full refund that will process once the merchandise is received back. I must say Rooms To Go really impressed me this time. My delivery guys this morning *********************** and ******************** was amazing, awesome and very respectful, very patient too. They took very good care in unpacking my furniture and make sure it was placed were I wanted it.. my delivery was seamlessly. Great job guys. Hope I will see them when my next delivery.
