1 starI will never order from rooms to go ever again. I had a couch delivered with a delivery window from 7-11. They showed up at 6:20am! Waking both the dog and the baby and myself. And the couch arrived damaged. They said it would be replaced in 48 hours, and it took about 10 days. I complained the first time about them showing up 40 minutes prior to the earliest possible time, and they assured me it would not happen again. 10 days later, 6:15am they’re ringing my doorbell!! Absolutely ridiculous and terrible service. You’re on their time, they’re not going to accommodate yours.Review fromDelphine R

Was delivered broken furniture. They gave me a new delivery date for replacement of broken chair . They failed to take broken chair with them trash man pick up trash now they want broken chair back in order to exchange for new chair they broke it they lost it and they think am gonna pay full price for missing item. First time dealing with them was looking at other stuff. But I don't want nothing more to do with them and the order is being returned. Can't believe the movers broke the chair and I am supposed to pay for there mistake the women I talk to right after delivery said nothing about holding on to there trash that they left at my house. Can't believe customers service with these people I can say stay off line and out of there store if you buy you asking for it. Unhappy ???? about purshaseRooms To Go

We are in receipt of this review.
In regards to their claim, we have reviewed the account in its entirety. Our records reflect an exchange of the chair was authorized and scheduled to swap on 11.04.22.
Rooms To Go, like most all retailers, requires the consumer to return the product in exchange for replacement merchandise or a refund. The monies from the old product transfers to the new product upon pickup. Please understand these are standard business practices.
We show no record of anyone authorizing a different course of action in exchange for brand new product. If they have documentation stating so, please provide it for further review.
Although we sincerely sympathize with their concerns, we are unable to give new furniture at no cost nor refund for furniture not return.
On behalf of Rooms To Go, we apologize for being unable to pursue any action due to the reasons stated above.

If I could give this company zero stars, I would. Absolute LIARS!! I purchased a dining room set and picture to match. Once the dining room set was delivered, the dining room table and chairs were all wobbly and needed to be leveled. I pointed this out to the delivery guys and was told it was suppose to be like that. (LIE #1) So youre telling me that I paid for a wobbly table and chairs?? After giving up with going back and forth with the delivery guys, I called customer service and a technician came out to fix the problem the following week. He fixed the wobbly table but completely broke one of the chairs. RTG then scheduled yet another delivery to exchange the chair. The delivery time was between 10am - 2pm yet they showed up at 8:30am while I was out for a run. They returned during the scheduled time after calling customer service AGAIN only to be brought a damaged chair. Im STILL waiting on an exchange.As for the picture which was supposed to be received within 5-7 businesses days. After not receiving it within that timeframe, I called customer service to request a refund. I was told they would have to contact the vendor to make sure the picture wasnt mailed before issuing a refund. I never heard back nor received a refund so I called customer service two more times to see what was going on. I was told they were still waiting to hear back from the vendor (LIE #2). Called again and was told no one even contacted the vendor. Im still waiting on a refund for the picture.If you want to be lied to repeatedly and pay for items you will never receive, by all means purchase items from RTG.Rooms To Go

With respect to their situation, our records reflect the product issues are being addressed through our customer care department. In regards to the special-order artwork, this was a vendor direct item. We have been made aware the customers request to cancel that order was sent to the vendor. Once they reviewed, the request was honored on 10.27.22 for the cancelation. All refunds take up to 21 business days to process and 1-2 billing cycles to show on the respective statements.

On behalf of Rooms To Go, please express our apologies to our customer for any inconvenience or misunderstanding they may have had regarding their purchase.
Rooms To Go offers a 1-year warranty against manufacturers defects.The bedding manufacturer offers a longer limited warranty for the same. Neither offers a trial comfort period as also indicated on the vendors warranty card nor do we advertise as such.
In regards to their situation, they chose the bedding in the home that was delivered on 8.2.21. Since date of delivery, we show no reports of any verbal or written communication regarding any issues with the bedding until 8.30.22. A technician was sent to the home to evaluate the mattress. The piece was deemed to be free from any vendor related defects. Unfortunately,preference or comfort is not covered.
Although we value their business and sympathize with their concerns, please understand we have abided by the guidelines within our contract.

I would like to make a complaint about my bad experience with rooms to go.First of all, last year, in May 2021, I went to rooms to go and I picked two sleeper sofas as I saw them in the store, and a recliner. It got delivered in July 2021 but what I got is two regular sofas and a recliner. So I went to the store and talked to the manager. He said the sleeper sofas were an option that I had to add to the order, but they didnt clarify it by the time I was buying the set and if I wanted the sleeper one, I had to pay the difference between the price of the regular and the sleeper one and he refused to replace them for me. Second thing , when I bought the set , I got insurance on them which covers any stains on the sofas. Now my sofas have been flattened after only one year and have stains on them . I called and I filed a claim and it got denied .So I dont want this set anymore and I dont know what to do .It is so disappointing. I feel Im losing my money.Rooms To Go

As an initial matter, we regret any misunderstanding experienced at the point of sale. We have reviewed our records and show the customer paid and signed for the product that was delivered to the home. Please understand our showrooms displays product placards next to the furniture with pricing information and options available for each grouping. The customer would have paid more at that time had the sleeper sofa option been selected.
Rooms To Go offers a 1-year warranty for manufacturers defects as stated on the terms located on their purchase receipt. Theirs expired as of 7.14.22. Our customer purchased the extended service plan powered by ********. Their guidelines are clearly outlined under the website referenced on said invoice. A technician was approved to go to evaluate the sofa. Unfortunately,the issues are excessive and not vendor related therefore, ******** denied the claim.
With respect to their situation, we have reviewed their account in its entirety. Please understand the consumer is responsible for the general maintenance of their furniture. If the set is not maintained it voids the purpose of the plan.
Although we sympathize with their concerns, we apologize a course of action was not possible due to the reasons explained above.

Unreliable, poor internal communication structure, failed to delivered as promised. Purchased a bedroom set for my daughter. Delivery was scheduled for Saturday along with entire order of a living room set, two mattress - quite an expensive order. Everything came but part of my daughter bedroom set - this was a surprise for her, as I only have her every other week, but that was diminished by the stores error of the forgotten piece of furniture. Called customer service and a request was put in for the following Saturday; I, like most people, work Monday through Friday. The request was denied but I was never informed of this and the stored randomly rescheduled for a Wednesday - I found this out Saturday when I was trying to get a delivery time. While talking to customer service, they informed me the request was denied and if I wanted my furniture early I would have to miss work - I almost came unglued. I informed them that I was going to miss work for their error and it either had to be delivered after 4pm or in a Saturday. They couldnt guarantee a delivery time for after 4pm; now Im required to wait another two weeks, so three weeks from original delivery date. Their lack of empathy and attitude was a disappointment. Please express our apologies to our customer, on behalf of our company, for any inconvenience they may have experienced.
With respect to their situation, our records reflect the childrens bed, side bookcase and lounger was delivered. Unfortunately, the nightstand was not delivered. We have been made aware a redelivery was generated on same day in order to get it out to the customer. An add on request for sooner delivery was made with the delivery company; however, space did not permit for this request as trucks were at full capacity. We regret if the customer was not informed it would be scheduled through the calendar. The piece is scheduled to be delivered on 11.12.22.
Our office will generate a refund in the amount of $75.00 off their delivery charge as an accommodation once the delivery is completed for the customer. This will process back to their synchrony account within 1-2 billing cycles.

I purchased a sofa bed that makes noise when sitting and rising. If I had known that I would have purchased it online. They informed me thats not a defect. I, the customer was not satisfied with an item I purchased with warranty within 6 months and they said it was nothing they could do. I hate I failed to read previous reviews. Please be careful when purchasing from them. Good Customer Satisfaction is not part of their protocol. NEVER AGAIN, I AM STUCK WITH THIS NEW COUCH.Rooms To Go

We are in receipt of this review. Our office has sent the following to the customer via email.
In regards to your situation, we have reviewed the account in its entirety. Our records reflect qualified technicians went to your home in February and again in September. Unfortunately, both deemed the sleeper was free of any vendor related issues. We agree with this assessment.
However, we have decided to override the service departments decision as a courtesy and allow you to reselect on the sleeper in the home to another sleeper or living room set equal in value. If greater, you would be responsible for the difference in price plus new delivery fee and extended service plan should you wish to have it on the new product. You will need to see the office staff at the originating store for their assistance. This offer is contingent on the return of the current sleeper when the new is delivered. I would like to give them a big fat "0"! Customer service was horrible! I purchased a mattress and the adjustable set up. I told the Sales person I had a sled bed with draws. He told me "NO" problem. When they set it up, I needed a ladder to get into my bed. When I used the adjustable 1 time, it sounded like I was going to fall head first because of the wood support from my original solid wood frame. Oh, and then there was the problem of "decapacitation" because now my bed is too high and if I adjust I will hit the ceiling fan. Customer Service told me "that is a "personal preference" I just wanted them to take back the $700 adjustable device I can not use. So, after a month of trying to get use to be bed, I decided to try and remove the adjustable part myself and ended up popping the wires to the motor and "this is not covered by the warranty I purchase" UUGH! I will never purchase RTG EVER!!!!BevT

1 starJust absolutely the worst customer service ever! I bought a sofa a couple of weeks ago that got delivered as ordered. The following week I came and bought a rug which was to come a few days later. I stayed at home on the workday because I was told that the delivery would be between eight and 12. Nobody called to tell me that the delivery time Changed. I got a phone call that told me that the rug would be coming in 15 minutes which didn't happen. I spent the whole day on the phone trying to figure out when they were coming and lost a day of business. Turns out they told me that the delivery people said they came and I wasn't there!! Bottom line is when I called, my sales person David at the asheville rooms to go, HE NEVER ever bother to get back to me to assist me with this matter. That just is the worst customer service ever. Stay away from this business. I ordered a mattress & foundation on 7/1/22 said it was in stock but did not receive it till 8/15/22. 3 weeks later the mattress had a large hump that would not go down. Called & they did send a tech out fast, he said it was defective would make out his report & they would call within 1 week about their decision. Now this was mid-Sept. Again I had to wait for a new replacement mattress. They said it would be 10/24. Now it is 10/23 a Sun from ****PM. Called & they said they can't change the date or time. What kind of place delivers on a Sun between ****PM. Can't get my money back so I am stuck with this only option. Stay away from this business.Rooms To Go

With respect to our customers situation, our records reflect a service went out to evaluate the bedding as per terms of the contract.We show an exchange was authorized and generated for our customer.
Due to heavy volume, all deliveries are scheduled through a corresponding delivery calendar and routed by zip codes in order to reach all scheduled customers. This is done automatically via electronic routing. We regret we have no control over timeframes. Therefore, delivery is an all-day appointment from 7am-10pm. An estimated four-hour window is provided when applicable.
Our customers exchange is scheduled for delivery on 11.07.22.
