Horrible store, we bought a sofa bed the last week of July and it was broken..the sales rep said he would issue a refund for the delivery charge which was a measly 100.00...never heard anything so we called and they finally issued the refund September 16 today is October 17 and we still do not have the refund.Rooms To Go

With respect to their situation, our office has reviewed the account in its entirety. We regret any inconvenience experienced. Our office reached out to our accounting department in order to investigate the matter. The initial check was mailed in September and has never been received back to our company. A stop payment was granted, and new check was mailed out to the customer on ********. The information has been provided to the customer.

I had a terrible experience with Rooms to Go customer service. We purchased a patio set from them. When it was delivered, the cocktail table (which had a glass top) was delivered shattered. I contacted Rooms to Go customer service and they refused to provide a replacement of the shattered glass top. I then filed a dispute with my credit card company. Rooms to Go customer service contacted me the following day in an effort to rectify the situation. They offered to replace the glass, so long as I closed the credit card dispute. I agreed to do so, which was a mistake. 6 months went by and still no delivery of the glass top, despite multiple efforts on my part to try and find out when it would be delivered. After 6 months I tried to reopen the dispute with my credit card company, but too much time had passed, so they would not reopen it. I truly believe it was Rooms to Go's objective to make me wait that long because they knew the dispute could not be reopened at that point. Shady business practices. I'll never purchase from them again.Rooms To Go

We are in receipt of this review.
Rooms To Go offers a 1-year warranty for manufacturer’s defects and workmanship as stated on the terms of sale located on the purchase receipt. However, glass pieces are only covered for a period of 48-hours from date of delivery as labeled on stickers placed on the product due to its fragile nature. Our records reflect the order was accepted on 10.21.21 without any problems reported until 11.23.21. Unfortunately, a course of action was not provided at that time as there was no evidence to support damage occurred during delivery. A 1-time courtesy part order of the glass was authorized in order to settle the chargeback dispute received. A reversal was granted in our favor.
We show the part order was placed with the manufacture as we do not house all parts for products we sell.
Please keep in mind that most businesses including manufacturers either slowed or stopped production of product due to this pandemic thereby delaying shipments. This is industry wide and not just with our company. The part is still on order.
Our office has reviewed with corresponding departments. We have reached out to our customer via email and offered an exchange of the cocktail table in order to finalize this matter. It is scheduled for 11.11.22.

I wish I could give them a zero. I bought furniture and it was delivered yesterday. The sofa was damaged. The delivery guy said I had to call to get exchange. I called them to get a resolution. It has been a nightmare. I took off for them to delivery the first time. Now I have to take off again for them to provide an exchange for damaged item. This is unacceptable. I shouldnt be inconvenienced for something that was my fault. And no acceptable resolution. You either take the day they provide or be stuck with damaged furniture.Rooms To Go

With respect to their situation, our records reflect an exchange was generated on the same date as their initial delivery in order to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Due to heavy volume, the delivery company relies on a calendar in order to accommodate all customers as efficient as able. Deliveries also run Tuesdays Saturday in their area; however, we show an addon request was submitted in order to acquire an expedited exchange date. 3 reasons why not to shop or buy at Rooms to Go. 1.Rooms to Go does not have the furniture in stock you can wait up to 3 to 6 months to get your furniture. 2. Rooms to Go customer service terrible, the 2 agents I spoke with and the supervisor very rude and shows no empathy at all. Even though Rooms to Go has customer service they really don't have customer service because they care nothing about their customers. 3. This is the biggest reason why not to shop at Rooms to Go, There Credit Card! Rooms to Go uses Synchrony bank, If you make your payments on time and after the card is paid off the Rooms to Go card they will close the card without your knowledge. The outcome effect on this is big with your credit score, it will hurt your credit score. Even though you've paid off the card and don't use the card, you just need it to reflect on your credit score. Last but not least if you're going to buy furniture from Rooms to Go, please know these 3 issues with their company. My end advice do not get the Rooms to Go credit card and try to avoid calling Rooms to Go customer service at all cost.Rooms To Go

As an initial matter, we are concerned by the allegations expressed in said review. Our office will be sharing with the corresponding departments in order to investigate and address any issues as deemed necessary.
With respect to any product delays, please note that customers are informed at the point of sale or shortly after should any product be on backorder or become unavailable. The manufacturer provides us with a proposed shipment date and that is how order are scheduled. Due to this global pandemic,shipments are still being delayed. Please keep in mind all businesses including manufacturers affected either stopped or slowed production of product. We regret if this was the case for our customer.
Lastly, our company takes many forms of payment at time of purchase. Our customer opted to finance the ******************** they acquired in their home. Rooms To Go is solely the retailer. Synchrony Finance paid us when the customer received the ********************. Unfortunately, we do not have access to their financing account nor send any information to the credit bureaus. Therefore,the customer will have to further inquire with their finance institution as this is out of our jurisdiction.

1 starI spent almost $4000 on a Cindy Crawford cream colored sectional, half of the cushions were already flattened out, but I reordered just one to replace the worst one. It took a month to arrive, and when it did, it was wrapped in one piece of torn plastic and had a huge black grease stain on it, which faces up. Im so disappointed. Poor quality materials at top notch prices, then they blame UPS for the damage. If it was packed properly, it wouldnt have happened.Review fromKathryn P

Purchased a bedroom set in March 2022 and I still have not received the bed. They keep delaying delivery. They are now telling it will not be available until January 2023. I was not told this was s possibility when I purchased this item or I would not have purchased. Now the are offering to exchange it for another set but That is such an inconvenience for me Ive already decorated my room base of the original set. I would never recommend this store or purchase from this place again. On top of that when I go to the website they are still selling the item and offering false availability dates. With respect to their situation, our records reflect they were aware the bed order was on backorder when the purchase was made. The manufacturer provides us with a proposed shipment date and that is how their order was dated at the point of sale for 7.19.22. Due to this global pandemic, shipments are still being delayed. Please keep in mind all businesses including manufacturers affected either stopped or slowed production of product.
However, our records reflect the customer was provided with an option to reselect the bedroom set to a different set or cancel/return the current merchandise if they did not wish to wait for the rescheduled date. The offers were rejected. The bed was added for delivery on 11.12.22 due to small shipment sent from the vendor. Earlier is not possible.

This is the worst company to deal with. Highly unprofessional staff and not customer service oriented whatsoever. I had damaged furniture that arrived. I literally spent hours trying to return the item and get a refund. None of the customer service representatives were able to help remedy the situation and a few (including one of the managers) were extremely rude. Payment has to be done online, and the website has issues with accepting payment. The sales representative I dealt with also mixed up my order and it took me a total of 2 hours to get the order straight. I had left messages for him and he never contacted me back. I also called the store when it was his day off and asked if I could leave a message to have him call me back and I was told that I had to call him. I can't believe this place is still in business. I sincerely hope some of the online sites put them out of business!Rooms To Go

As our office is concerned by the allegations our customer has expressed, we will be sharing the information with the area regional management team to investigate and address any issue deemed necessary.
With respect to their situation, our records reflect the cocktail table purchased was a vendor direct order. It was shipped by the manufacturer. Therefore,any issues are reviewed by our special orders department as they serve as the liaison between the customer and the vendor. Our records show the customer was advised to send an email with photos to said department, as this is the vendors protocol. Once this took place, the information is sent to the vendor and a final decision is rendered and the customer is made aware. We have been made aware a refund was processed and customer was advised they may do as they wish with the cocktail table as it would not be picked up. This was completed as of 8.25.22.

Do not buy the warranty. Its a waste of money. Unless you have a tiny stain on your couch they are not going to clean anything and they will just walk away and tell you to have someone come professionally clean itRooms To Go

Rooms To Go offers a 1-year warranty against manufacturers defects as stated on the terms of sale located on their purchase receipt. This expired as of 9.14.21. The customer purchased the extended service plan powered by Fortegra that includes accidental coverage. Their guidelines are clearly outline under the website referenced on said invoice.
Our office has reviewed the customers account, technicians report and pictures taken at time of service. Unfortunately, the results deem the furniture has multiple surfaces that are stained. Fortegra reviewed and has advised it is not considered accidental and would be unable to provide a course of action. Our office agrees with this assessment. Please understand consumers are responsible for the general maintenance of their furniture. If the set is not maintained it voids the purpose of the plan.
On behalf of Rooms To Go, we apologize for being unable to pursue any action due to the reasons explained above.
