They sold me a couch and offered to sell insurance that if I got a stain on the couch they would come out and clean it. However I attempted to file multiple claims to save them the trouble of coming out multiple times, however when they came out to view it, they decided that it was negligence I refused to honor the claim. I paid $300 dollars just to get scammed. They just kept saying that I signed the contract, but the terms I understood was that if I got a stain that I was not able to get out, they would come clean it or replace it. However it is all dependent on what they say, which could always just be negligence.Rooms To Go

We are in receipt of this review.
Rooms To Go offers a 1-year warranty for manufacturers defects as stated on the terms located on their purchase receipt. This expired as of 1.21.22. Our customer purchased the extended service plan powered by Fortegra that covers the same and includes accidental coverage. Their guidelines are clearly outlined under the website referenced on said invoice.
With respect to their situation, we have reviewed their account, the technicians findings and pictures taken at time of service in its entirety. Please note that the consumer is responsible for the general maintenance of their furniture. if the set is not maintained it voids the purpose of the plan. Regrettably, there are accumulated stains on multiple surfaces of their furniture not just an isolated accidental stain. For this reason ******** did not approve further action.
Although we sympathize with their concerns, we apologize their claim was denied due to the reasons explained above.

We attempted to keep the couch maintained how you put it according to your standards. However along with the stain remover and water, it just created more water stains. Rooms to go and the other company just want to send their own people out to make judgement calls and they can choose what ever that call is. I signed the agreement however when I was sold this agreement, I was not sold it in this manner. I was sold it under the impression and false pretenses that if I got a stain they would come out and remove it or replace.Review fromAdriane P

1 starThis company is the worst and along with bad customer service. I recently had a delivery of new bedroom furniture with parts missing from my order that the warehouse forgot to include on the delivery truck. I requested a new bed more than once since my order was incomplete but when speaking customer service they gave me different explanations of how they can simply reorder the missing items and have them delivered to my home within a week along with a tech to come out that day. I called the customer service line because I noticed my parts were coming in through UPS but no scheduled appointment for a service tech. When speaking with customer service to set up the appointment they mentioned it would be another two-three weeks out before a service tech could possibly come out. At this time I asked to speak with a supervisor bc of the inconvenience. I have not received a returned phone call or a scheduled date for a service tech. I inquired about a refund on delivery and they only allotted $50?? This does not contribute to me having to take off work for whenever a service tech is available, gas, time, inconvenience, and the fact I cannot use my storage compartments on my bed until it fully put together. UntiI then the remaining parts will be taking up space along with the other items I am unable to put away due to lack of storage. It will remain this way until service tech arrives to complete the order. I order a storage bed due to needing more very problem now RTG is cluttering my home even more until this problem is rectified. I feel this company is not standing behind their products, company name, or ensuring the warehouse and delivery companies are doing their job correctly. I want my full refund for delivery bc it was incomplete and no one seems to care about correcting the problem in a timely manner.Review fromAmanda Z

1 starThe absolute worst furniture company and terrible customer service after the sell!They delivered damaged nightstand and sofa on 7am Saturday, and I quickly found the damaged area and reached out to the representative (B) to request replacement on the same day. I emailed the photos to the representative (B) as she requested, but never heard back from her. Interest fact is RTG Customer Care opens Monday to Saturday 8am to 8pm. I didn't know that until I tried to reach out to them on Sunday. They only give me 48-hour to report damage, by the time of Monday morning 8am, it already passes 48-hour. So, I went ahead and submitted a ticket with photos with damaged furniture online on Sunday. I also called Monday to make sure they received my requests within 48-hour and made sure they were going to deliver replacements to me. The representative (T) told me the earlier available date is within two weeks. A day before the appointment, I received a call saying a furniture repair guy will come for repair?! I called Customer Care again. Another representative (C) told me I agreed with the repair on the phone with the representative (T). C told me they have the record of our conversation. I requested to play to record to prove it, but * said she couldn't do that. During the whole conversation with *, I only mentioned I needed replacements. I didn't say repair at all. Why I wanted to pay full price on damaged furniture? Representative C even claimed it's me caused the damage! Excuse me?? I tried to request discount if RTG to repair instead of to replace. Representative C said I wouldn't get discount, because RTG hires tech to repair for me. Oh mine... Ridiculous logic! I told her after repairing, that's refurnished furniture, no longer new furniture anymore. I am not satisfied paying full price on refurnished furniture. But representative C kept claiming the tech would repair it like new. In fact, I paid for perfect new furniture! I am very disappointed overall!!!Review fromLeisa H

If I could give them less thone star< I would. !!!!!!! Never purchase from this establishment . Alert!!!!! Alert !!!!!!!! I am writing today to complain about the very poor service I received from your company from September 6th to this present day. I drove from Fort Washington Maryland to your Corporate Store located at **** * ***** ** *** ** ***** ****** ******** ***** because your store came highly recommended. I purchase a living room set for $2800.00 with the promise of delivery in September 6, 2022. To learn through email that the date has been changed to September 17th2022 (widow delivery of 1pm- 4pm) I waited all day and missed a very important meeting at work and my job was jeopardized, almost losing my job because of it. I also missed a very important family event because I suppose to attend. I called the store at 1pm on September 17th and was told by a supervisor by the name of Michael the delivery was still on enroute and that the window that you are given is an estimate window which makes no sense to me and is so very unprofessional for a business. Then I was told to call on Tuesday to speak with another supervisor because I had to wait for the return of the furniture to find out why the furniture wasn't delivered. Call on Tuesday and still, no information was able to be given to me, which is why the furniture was not delivered. So, then I spoke with Michael the supervisor again and he made so many promises with seeing if I could get half of my delivery back and I said no!!! I am so irritated and discussed the lack of professionalism. Either give my delivery or cancel my order altogether. My husband has even called from over sea's, he is a Marine working on a mission that he must place on hold because I am complaining about your lack of services to deliver our furniture. On behalf of Rooms To Go, please express our apologies to our customer for any inconvenience they may have experienced.
Please understand that due to heavy volume, all deliveries are routed by zip codes in order to reach all scheduled customers. Because this is done automatically via electronic routing, we have no control over the timeframe. We advise they are an all-day appointment from 7am-10pm as printed on their purchase invoice. An estimated four-hour window is provided if applicable.Unfortunately, the delivery company contracted for this area only goes out 1 day a week. Due to unforeseen circumstances out of their control, there may be times the driver may not arrive as scheduled. We regret this transpired with the customers delivery. As we understand our customers time is valuable, we could have advised to schedule the delivery for a day with less time constraints.
With respect to their situation, we do not know why the delivery company was unable to complete the initial delivery appointment. However, we will investigate and address internally any issues as deemed necessary with this 3rd party. We have been made aware that the order was rescheduled and finalized on 9.23.22. The stores management team has also submitted the refund request for the refund of their delivery charges as an accommodation.

Worst furniture and company. Ordered a sectional livingroom set with install. The couch wasnt connected at the steel joint at install. No big deal. However. There were 10 staple size hole on each corner of the end and coffee tables. Call and ask for a new set. No problem they set it up for 2 weeks out. The new tables arrive. Same issue. The delivery guy says they are all like this. I call customer support. After being on hold i was told management was aware of the defect and i could come in to a show room within 2 days and pickout different tables. Not acceptable. You knew the product was defective. You sold it anyway. Then sent me the same defective tables a second time. The closet showroom is 60 miles away. How about you send me what i ordered in Undamaged condition. This is not a defect in the set which is why the replacements had the same exact kind of markings. Our office has reviewed the customers account in its entirety. Rooms To Go offers a 1-year warranty for manufacturers defects as stated on the terms located on their purchase receipt. This expired as of 7.09.22. Since the exchange on 7.22.21, we show no record of any verbal or written communication regarding any issues until 9.22.22. They purchased the extended service plan powered by Fortegra. Their guidelines are clearly outlined under the website referenced on said invoice.
With respect to their situation, our records reflect the customer called to report an issue with their sofa. They were advised to contact Fortegra for service approval. They did so and service is scheduled for 10.20.22.

I purchased a sofa chaise and a chair for a den room from Rooms To Go in Kennesaw, Georgia; which was delivered on August 12, 2022. Unfortunately, the sofa chaise was too tall to enter the room causing the delivery men to damage the walls at two locations at my parents house after they attempted to succeed at many different angles. The delivery men verbalized to my brother who was at the home during this delivery that they will repair the damage to the walls. I called manager **** that same evening on August 12, 2022 to inform him that the sofa chaise was too tall for my den room and was damaged. I also informed **** how the walls were damaged because of it and the delivery men stated to my brother that they will repair it. The delivery men nor **** never informed me or my brother that we had to make a claim in 3 days to get the walls repaired.After a week had gone by and I have not heard from anyone, I decided to call Rooms To Go for an update on my repairs. I was then informed that it was too late to get any repairs because it was more than three days and their policy states that it has to be no longer than three days from delivery to file a claim. I asked the representative where the policy is and he stated on the back of my purchase order under terms and conditions of sale, number three. I and the representative both look only to find that it is not there. The representative then stated that he didnt know.I decided to call Rooms To Go again on September 1, 2022 just to express my disappointment . I spoke with manager ****** and she did try to assist me in getting my walls repaired as much as she could. ****** called me to give me an update and had the claim department to open up my case but every time I have reached out to them, they never returned any of my phone calls . It has been a month now and I still haven't heard from anyone. Way to go Rooms To Go! Thanks you for dishonesty and lack of communication. You have forever lost a valued customer.Rooms To Go

Rooms To Go prides itself in excellent customer service,henceforth; it is unfortunate to be made aware of the allegations that were expressed.
With respect to their situation, we have reviewed the account and the delivery companys records and show no reports of a property claim made within 3-days from date of delivery. Delivery is not part of Rooms To Gos warranty. It is an optional service provided by a 3rd party;therefore, their guidelines or process would not be printed on the terms and conditions of sale.
Nonetheless, we have been made aware the report was submitted to the delivery companys claim office for review. Our office has reached out to the delivery company and has been made aware the customer was contacted and received requested pictures. The claims office requested the customer also submit estimates for review. They advised a courtesy call was made on 10.13.22 with no response back to them as of yet.

1 starI will never purchase with Rooms To Go again. I am a charge customer since 2000. I purchased a three piece LR set. The back of the sofa was bulking. They said I missed the warranty by one day. A person came to house and did not write the problem. He only reported cleaning a spot. I called and wrote customer service. My attorney said if I sue I would have to go to Florida for court. I only wanted a representative to view my pictures. I have a paper trail but no resolution from the company.Review fromBrian T

The absolute worst furniture company and terrible customer service after the sell. We bought a sofa, love seat and bedroom suite. In less than a year, the sofa and love seat have warped and broken reclining mechanisms. We bought the warranty from them (********, don't use them either) and they gave us the complete runaround. I had to call back and forth between the two companies for a month just to get a claim number. They then sent a third party out to adjust our claim. That technician and company was actually good. Fast forward almost 4 weeks later, Rooms to Go, nor the warranty company had contacted me as the technician said they would. So I called the warranty company. The rep was rude and cut me off multiple times just to end up telling me that I would have to call Rooms to Go (here comes the runaround again). I called Rooms to Go and they had done NOTHING!!!! The rep said she saw the report and she would put in the order for the parts but it could be 10 day or 90 days if the parts were on back order. Oh, and when they do come in (to my house) I need to call them and then they would schedule repair. Basically, if you make a claim, you are now a part of their service department and you have to do all the calling and scheduling. So I asked her if they would contact me and tell me if the parts were on back order so I would know when to expect them. AGAIN she said I could call them if the parts weren't their in 10 days and they could try and find out. So I'm their employee once again. I called my claim in in the last week of July... It'll be October in 4 days. Rooms to Go and their little warranty company are a nightmare. Buy anywhere else.Rooms To Go

We are in receipt of this review.
Rooms To Go offers a 1-year warranty against manufacturers defects as printed on their purchase invoice provided at the point of sale.Theirs expired as of 5.15.22. They did purchase the extended service plan powered by Fortegra. The terms for this plan are available on Fortegras website referenced on said invoice.
Our office has reviewed the account. The customer reported an issue with their sofa on 7.26.22. Past the warranty period, they were directed to Fortegra for service approval. In general, an approval # is provided and our company may schedule service with one of our technicians.;however, we regret we do not have technicians in every area thereby directing customers to Fortegra so they may provide service themselves. That was the case here.
Our records reflect Fortegra approved the repair with new parts.Therefore, we placed the part order and the customer was advised if we have the part in stock, it would be up to 10 days to receive. If coming from coming from the manufacturer, to allow up to 90 days to fill.
Because they are out of warranty, and are within Fortegras guidelines, the customer would need to discuss any disputes or concerns with Fortegra.

I honestly think the banks Rooms to Go use to approve credit are racist.My co worker was approve for line of credit with a 596 credit score, my credit score is 634 and I got decline.Oh well another furniture store will get my business and my money..Thank you Rooms to Go for nothing!!Rooms To Go
